and as part of our reboot, i think we also should respond to the "events" more actively.

About half of the active players voted, and the vast majority support a reboot. With so many people who made apps that have dropped out, I have several things I want to outline to make sure we are at the same understanding:

1: Are we ok to begin on January 1, 1950? With that startdate, along with keeping the timeline mostly historical, we should have a Korean War still start. However we did get apps for a communist Japan, united Korea, and a nationalist ruled China, so I don't know about that situation. Alternatives include 1944/1945, or maybe somewhere in the 1953 with Stalin's death, the end of the Korean War, and we gear up for the Suez Crisis and space race

2: Events here should be ignored, and we start completely fresh for the reboot. And to keep things moving, major powers should be RPed by people who have shown consistency. I believe that at least me, Dentali, Hypron, and Agarntrop have shown this. I would like to remain as the USSR if that's ok

3: Debates in the OOC need to be kept to a minimum. I stated this before, but the reboot will include these rules:
I: All military movements must be clearly declared here in the OOC, and then explained in the IC
II: Non active nations will be assumed to drop out, especially major ones

Now. TENNOHEIKA BANZAI NIHON, I ask that you stop posting about denying war crimes committed during WW2. Literally all your arguments are "what about other allied nations that you support". Don't spread that here

1. Communist Japan hasn't posted for a while, and neither did United Korea. Nationalist China's player is going to be America I think. So, just drop the two if they're not going to post often and it interferes with the start. Still, I think 1950 or 1953 are fine start dates. 1945 is too 'WW2'.
2. Go ahead, you're pretty neat as the USSR.

Since it would be boring for me to still play as Portugal in the reboot, I would either be China (Nationalist or Communist), Italy, Brazil, India (which would include Pakistan and Bangladesh) or some Middle Eastern nation.

Agreed. I mean, the nationalization of Persia's oil is what led to the UK and USA overthrowing the government there. I will try to make some more internal issues for nations so every post isn't just a reaction to another

I wonder too. I just want to know if an unpartitioned India was possible.
