"Mr. Dietrich is a good man, but he was not elected to the position he is currently being nominated for. A president is elected by the people, along with his vice-president, who the people agree to. The people never agreed to a Vice-President Dietrich. I don't agree with Vice-President Dietrich. I bet y'all know how I plan on voting, because of this small speech. I disagree with that Unanimous Consent motion, because there is an opposition to this man's nomination, and I am included in that opposition, and on that account, I support the gentleman from Tennessee's motion, as well as the following second from the wonderful Mrs. Edwards of Georgia, to move to a vote, where the opposition can actually have our opinions known and heard."
