Texas is a winnable state for Democrats; I remember when I removed the last of the Oregon Republican Senators in 2008 and we can do this in Texas in 2019 and 2020. For this special election, I hope Democrats have the good sense to keep candidacies to a minimum to have the best shot of prevailing in the jungle primary. #TurnTexasBlue

Texans deserve better from their Congressional delegates than racebaiting conspiracy theories. The decency and charity of real Texans has always warmed my heart, and in this special election, we have a unique opportunity to upend a cycle of Republicans taking the Lone Star State for granted. Lets #TurnTexasBlue and help Texans get a real voice in the Senate.

Fort Worth, Texas

The static television buzzed in the background of the living room in the Cramp family home. Randy walked into the kitchen from the back door that lead to his expansive backyard, he had been shooting, and took his rifle and rested it against the kitchen table. He made his way into the living room, where the television was still going. The kids probably forgot to turn it off after watching their cartoons, naturally, he flicked it onto the local Fox channel. He usually did this to see if there were any news segments about himself. He liked those. But there was only one story breaking the news. Senator Goldwater had resigned. A Texas Special Election was planned. Randy no longer worked as a Judge. An opening emerged.

He called out down the hallway to his wife, as he was taking off his boots. "Honey, honey, honey!"

His wife later emerged into the living room. "What is it?"

Randy pointed at the television as he explained. "Do you remember my old friend, Greg. Greg, uhm, Greg Henry? I was talking to him about running for the state house in 2018?"

She nodded. "Yes, I do vaguely remember him."

"Yeah, well, I'm going to call him up again. He owes me a favor - and this is going to be big," when he paused, the television began to explain the jungle primary.

"You're going to run, for Senate?" She said, startled.

"I think I will," Randy said, pulling the phone off the wall to contact his friend.

I've officially filed by intention to run for Texas Senate. I intend to bring back Judeo-Christian values to government and fight for Texas.

Unable to get the private numbers of some of the important individuals in the country, Randy sent emails to their offices.

TO: Governor Jonah Prendergast Jr
FROM: Randall Cramp

Good day,

This is Randy Cramp, former Judge in Fort Worth, Texas. You may have heard my case on the news, I'm fighting for religious freedom in the courts against the Texan State Commission. I'm also running for Texas Senate. I would like to have a chat with you, if you have the spare time. I understand you are a busy man though, Governor.

Cheers,

Randy.

Hello Justice Cramp!

I've heard about your case and your related advocacy, and whilst it's a bit early for me to throw myself behind one candidate in particular, I'd certainly be glad to talk. Feel free to send a call through to my office at [NUMBER] until I can come down to Texas in person. Been planning to come down for a while now!

Yours,

I'm certainly impressed by your record as a judge, but becoming a Senator is a big step. Are you prepared for the stress? The strain?" Texas is very important to our Party, especially as it gets purpler and purpler, so we need to be ready to take on that challenge with more poise than politics than we used to. However, the fact that you went out of your way to talk to me so soon means a lot, and raises you in my estimations significantly. If this doesn't work out, I know for sure that I'll be putting you on the federal bench."

South Carolina
05/01/2019

Richardson saw the news, talked with his team and tweeted out about the surprise Texas race, now for the next part of his plan he texted Laura Dunn in Germany.

Laura, have you seen the news about the Texas special? Please call me when you get the chance.

Shooting off the text he await a response, all the while re-arranging his schedule to accommodate the new developments.
