WORCESTER, MASSACHUSETTS
MAY 1ST, 2019
ARNOLD WOLF JR.

The next month would be big for the Wolf Jr. campaign. He already had a busy schedule full of events to get as much momentum as possible. For now, though, he needed to secure his home state. A large crowd had gathered to see him in Worcester for the second rally of the campaign. Wolf Jr. entered to loud cheers from his enthusiastic supporters. He almost laughed to see the amount of support he was getting so far. He knew though that there was much to be done, and he would start by speaking directly to his voters. He stood eagerly at his podium and opened up.

"Now this is a crowd, isn't it? This is the kind of movement we need to defeat the socialists in 2020!

All the way back in the 90s I had a great idea. I had an idea to create a business dedicated to providing medicine that people needed in their lives. I created Sanabex to make that idea a reality. I grew Sanabex over the course of 20 years into a nationwide powerhouse that has healed many people - very many people. I am so proud of my work at Sanabex, and I only wish I could've grown it even more. Unfortunately, Bahariacare and the ridiculous healthcare policies of the Democrats prevented that growth.

Bahariacare has been a horrific disaster for our healthcare system. You're seeing drug prices so sky-high (not-Bezos) can barely afford them! The premiums are awful! There is little to no choice in providers! They lied to us and said that we could keep our doctors if we liked them! It's grotesque to see this kind of system ruining lives. Bahariacare is killing people, folks! People are dying because of this!

It's clear that we need to bring a massive change to the way our system works. We need to repeal and replace Bahariacare immediately! If Congress won't do it, the courts will! Really, it's so bad that even the Democrats want it gone! Democrats have been proposing this idea called "medicare for all". Sounds beautiful, right? Well, it's not so beautiful when you look at it. Total government control over everything! We've seen this failure in practice in places like the United Kingdom. The NHS there has been a disaster! People wait months and months for care, and people die waiting to get treatment! Just imagine your grandparents, or maybe your kids waiting in the emergency room for hours and then they're dead because of the system's incompetence. That is the healthcare system the Democrats want, folks! They want your grandparents and kids to die waiting for care!

So we know for a fact that the Democrat plan is a bust, but what can we do? How about instead of hoping the government suddenly starts working well again we incentivize the markets to lower prices. We'll start that by restructuring Medicare Part D. Part D has this drug benefit, you see, where the cost of drugs is apportioned between all the parties, with how it's apportioned being based on price tier. The problem comes from the high fourth tier, where basically the government comes in and says they're gonna pay for about 80% of the cost, and then the manufacturers and the insurance plans spend virtually nothing for it. Let me ask: If you had the opportunity to pay barely anything for a drug and have the government pay for it instead by making it more expensive, would you do it? The smart businessman would say absolutely yes!

This is what is happening right now. I worked in the industry, so I know a lot of these drug manufacturers personally and let me tell you that's exactly what these people are doing. About half of Part D costs are tier four! That's ridiculous! We need to get the government to stop paying all these bills for the manufacturers, and instead, incentivize them to drop their prices. Wouldn't that be so much better?

Medicare Part B meanwhile has more than doubled it's cost since we got Bahariacare. Once again the government is incentivizing the markets to provide the most expensive drugs possible to maximize profits. There are a lot of things we should do. We should definitely revisit the payment methodology so we can figure out what the hell is happening. We should get the government out of it where we can to allow more competition, leading to reduced prices. Maybe we should cap add-on payments, even. It's a lot to work on, for sure, but I'm the only candidate with actual experience in this industry, so I know what does and doesn't work.

The most important thing we need to do is open up the markets so we can be competitive again. Lift the burdens and regulations of Bahariacare so drug companies can focus on giving the most affordable medications to you without having to jack the price up for more profit. We should be supporting efforts to innovate our healthcare to make it more accessible, affordable, and overall better. We should be removing these lines around the states. Everything we can do to save our healthcare can be done with me as President. I will get it done. I will make our healthcare great again. I will take down the Democrats trying to impose more failed government on our people. Let's get it done! Thank you and God bless you all!"

As I learned as an Armenian-American going to a diverse school in Glendale during the Cold War, it doesn't take long for a wannabe bully from an Anglo family with major size envy to call you a "commie" because of your last name. My family has lived in the United States for longer than the Soviet Union was in existence. Your McCarthy BS is seriously pathetic in 2020. It was pathetic in 1970 in the schoolyard, and it is pathetic now.

And yet you still call yourselves the "civilized" party. See, folks, this is harassment of conservatives at its worst! Some damn Democrat playing the race card, and then turning around and attempting to insult my masculinity. The fact that all those politicians still call that man their ally, their friend, symbolises the toxicity of modern politics. No, Mr. Papazian, I think you are the pathetic one, in every single way. #PatheticPapazian

Considering the violence, mistreatment and abuse that the Armenian people suffered at the hands of the Soviet Union, I think @BerniePorter owes the Armenian-American community an apology for such an offensive, ahistorical and misguided insult. Democrats and Republicans of every color and creed were united in our opposition to Soviet tyranny. I was still working at the State Department, loyally and as a patriot, when the Berlin Wall came down. Partisanship doesn't enter into it. Don't pervert facts and history to serve a political agenda.

Bernard J. Porter
@BerniePorter

Him being Armenian has nothing to do with it, Representative. You Democrats are always out there, harassing us across all of society. You accuse me of being a racist, when my intentions were not racist in nature. This is an unfounded assault on innocent conservatism, and the fact that you choose to condone the behavipr of a man who acts like a schoolyard bully is beyond me. Mr. Papazian's tweet underscores the toxicity and incivility of the modern Democratic Party, and why compromise will not work in this time and age.

Lynskey for Senate
Massachusetts Ad Buy
Cable serving the Massachusetts media market

A stern voice delivered the narration for this advertisement, speaking with authority. The voice was deep and masculine.

"Senator James Moore of Michigan's Medicare Choice Act, supported by everyone from Senate Minority Leader Windsor to progressive heavyweight Levi Murphy, would have provided a public healthcare option to the American people. It represented real change for the American people. Hope for the thousands who live without adequate health coverage. What doomed it?"

A clip would run from C-SPAN of Senator Winthrop voting "Present" for the Medicare Choice Act.

"When it came to a crucial push to further the Green New Deal in Congress, how was that push presented?"

A series of clips would play, showing Senator Winthrop failing to answer the questions she was asked and the rebukes towards her for those failures.

"Progressive causes, causes we hold dear as Bay Staters, are floundering and struggling because the woman who has positioned herself as our spokesperson is unprepared, unfocused, and unqualified."

"Progressivism needs leadership, and Massachusetts needs a strong voice to represent it in Congress."

Image

In the latter half of the ad, there was a tonal shift, switching to a softer, female voice.

"John Nathan Lynskey is no stranger to getting things done. As Governor, he raised the minimum wage in Massachusetts, he delivered healthcare, public transportation, and green policy to the Bay State. He fought racism and homophobia. He made real change for real people. He knews both what needs to be done, and how to get it done."

"What he recognizes most of all is that we need More for Massachusetts. We have a right to demand more from our congressional delegates. So when the Senate primary comes around, choose Lynskey for Senate."

Former Governor Lynskey would show up on screen for the last seconds.

"I'm John Nathan Lynskey, and I'm proud to approve this message."

Tears of joy escaped from Tracey's face, she didn't know how te react. This day had already been eventful, but this put the icing on the cake. She put her hand up to her face and wiped away the tears. This was going to change her life forever, a massive decision to make in just a few seconds. But she wanted to make it. It was her choice. She smiled as she entered a daydream. It was perfect.

"Tracey, love," John said waving his hand in front of Tracey. "Will you marry me?" He repeated for a second time.

John had finally popped the question, albeit this was technically the second time as he had asked Tracey a few minutes before but she went completely speechless. If she accepted his engagement proposal, this would really put a nail in the coffin for the bachelor life that John once lived. But he was finally glad to settle down. Too many nights spent alone. He wanted someone to spend the rest of his life with, someone he could settle down with. That person was his wonderful partner Tracey. Also, he could imagine starting a family with her, something that had not really interested him, apart from now. He was hoping to have a few kids.

However, this wasn't always his plan with Tracey. It was only around the year mark of their relationship that he started taking things serious. He thought it would've just been a fling, something over within a year, but it wasn't. There had also been something different about Tracey. She just seemed so relaxed, yet caring. It was weird. John had had many previous relationships, some serious, some relaxed, but he had never had a relationship like this. This relationship really changed him, for the better. Before Tracey had came into his life, John was quite alone. But not anymore. Now he had someone he loved by his side, for hopefully the rest of his life. And do you know what? He couldn't wait. This was going to be a new and exciting part of his life, a new experience.

"John, of course I will." She said, tears of joy running down her face as she ran towards John. John wrapped her in a warm embrace and just held her. They both began to cry with joy.

Once they officialy became engaged, John could jump with joy. He was overwhelmed with emotion. Emotions he hadn't felt in years, and it was safe to say he was finally happy.

A few hours later, Donaldson would send out a celebratory tweet;
