If @LeviMurphy wants a crash course on the state of the Middle East and how Afghanistan is not run by the Taliban, my office door is always open. For that matter, he's always welcome to look at the image linked below. It's an armored riot control van running down a protestor. That is why we have sanctions on Venezuela, and why there is bipartisan support for my DOVE Act to apply more. There is nothing left wing about backing a dictator.

Dear L-rd, what an intensely...horrible interview Murphy gave the nation. You could tell that his interviewer was dying inside throughout the entire interview! The wackjobs the progressives belch out would've been istitutionalized a century ago.

Alright I hate to give political advice to the Democrats but I can't resist. When you go to the ballot box a few months from now, please pick someone who actually knows the basic functions and limitations of their position. Recent comments have shown leading Democratic candidates either not understanding basic separation of powers, or having total disregard for the separation of powers. Frankly I'm not sure what is worse. You should expect more from your leaders. #RaiseTheBar

You think swamp creatures like Murphy and Westra would have at least a basic understanding of civics and th powers of Government. Quick crash course... The President can't use Executive Orders to raise the minimum wage and the House controls the power of the purse. Thank You Mrs. Kane who taught my 9th grade Social Studies class. #RaiseTheBar

We got to see a nasty glimpse of what the next FAR LEFT DEM administration would look like last night on C.N.N. A President who rules by decree (and who has admitted a hatred for Israel, big brain time, guys!), a President who wants to hound businesses and the jobs they provide out of America so he can slaughter the American Dream, a President who thinks our best friends should be IRAN, MADURO and CASTRO'S CUBA!

Twenty years ago, you could work with Democrats. Now the agenda has been taken over by aggressive socialists seeking to end the promise of individual liberty. @LeviMurphy wants to align America with proud communists and Islamists, disregard Congress and the Constitution, hand power from federal and state government to unregulated unions, and spend your taxes pandering to illegals and addicts!

Nathaniel Richardson
Dunn Megachurch, Dubuque County, Iowa
March 24th, 2019

Image

Richardson’s sunday in Iowa would be entirely taken up by his visit to Dunn’s Megachurch. He was a good man, Richardson was truly religious and he was happy to attend services there but the central reason he was there was because of his wife, the former Governor and (Richardson believed) the most important endorser in the race outside of the President himself.

He was invited to speak and do a short guest lesson at the MegaChurch of Reverend Dunn. Richardson graciously accepted, knowing it would increase his name recognition among thousands of faithful Iowans and get him closer with the Dunns

“Psalm 112:5-9… It is well with the man who is gracious and lends; He will maintain his cause in judgment. For he will never be shaken; The righteous will be remembered forever. He will not fear evil tidings; His heart is steadfast, trusting in the LORD. His heart is upheld, he will not fear, Until he looks with satisfaction on his adversaries. He has given freely to the poor, His righteousness endures forever; His horn will be exalted in honor.”

“One of my favorite writers, Thomas Aquinas, says that Charity is friendship of man for God, and unites us to God.”

“What do you think of when I say the word ‘Charity’? Service? Jesus? Love? Mother Theresa? Its both action and attitude… ask yourself ‘what is the most charitable act you have ever done? Ever received? As the Apostle James asks. what good is the faith in your heart if you have no deeds?.”

“Matthew 25:34-36 and 40 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me . . . I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me’” We must remember that all we have belongs to God, and all we give is because of his love for us.”

“But don’t misunderstand, Charity is not something with a price tag, it's not only a material thing. Peter and John had no silver or gold to give a crippled beggar, so instead in the name of Christ they enabled him to walk through the grace of god. Charity is whatever you can give with love in your heart, your time, or your faith… whatever you can give. Our opportunities to give of ourselves is limitless, think of all the hearts to uplift, the kind words to be said, the gifts given and deeds done… think of the souls to be saved. We must also acknowledge that only Christ could love perfectly, it is not always easy to love so we must trust in Christ and let him love others through us.”

“When we have charity we are filled with good feelings for all, we are not boastful, selfish or rude, we simply share the joy of those who live by the truth of Christ. As per his example we love sinners and despise wickedness, he had compassion for all and such great love he begged his father to forgive those who drove the nails into his hands and feet.”

“We must become more charitable by studying Christ and his commandments, through prayer and by loving ourselves better. Matthew 22:29 teaches us to love others as we love ourselves. And to do that we must respect and trust ourselves, by repenting and forgiving ourselves and allowing the comforting assurance of Christ’s love to embrace us.”

“Christ taught us to love God and to love our neighbor are the greatest commandments. Charity is not an optional part of that. We cannot profess to worship God in church and yet not express that love to our neighbor, the story of the Good Samaritan makes it clear that our neighbor is not a matter of proximity, its not a matter of who is ‘one of us’, its a matter of our common humanity. And we should do it because we live by Christian principles, the common good, not of some patronising pity but an acknowledgement of the inherent value of live and the power of a human being when they live to their full potential through Christ.”

“In Corinthians Paul says not matter how spiritual you look or behave, without love you are nothing. Go to church every Sunday, read the bible and pray nightly… it means nothing without actions of love. Exhibit patience and kindness, do not be jealous or boastful, do not be harsh or vengeful. Love hangs in there, it endures through all things. Paul says Charity will never fail, as love lasts forever and will keep working after any material gifts have vanished. That everlasting love is in possession of you all, every member of the body of Christ.”

“Love is the greatest of gifts, share it through Charity and live in God’s love.”

After service he spoke with anyone who came to speak with him, he tried to keep the talk apolitical but he was always polite when someone asked a political question and gave them comprehensive and straight answers.

Senator Tim Westra
March 20th, 2019
Cedar Falls, Black Hawk County, Iowa

After attending to some work in D.C., Tim was back on the trail to talk to voters in Iowa. He had recently spoken to union members in New Hampshire, with whom he had discussed a variety of issues and he had distinguished himself from other pro-union candidates with his views on healthcare that seemed to be popular with union leaders. In Cedar Falls, he was here to do some retail and a town hall, before heading to another county the next day.

He arrived at the local Maple Syrup Festival at the Hartman Reserve Nature Center. Tim complemented the local maple syrup producers, and stressed the importance of propping up small businesses that sold locally-sourced products. He feasted on pancakes and conversed with other attendees who were curious about his campaign. He talked a lot about his Agriculture Plan to stabilize farm prices, which he thought went down very well with Iowan farmers in attendance who were complaining about the bad crop prices and the endless subsidies that didn't seem to be a longterm solution. After finishing up his pancakes and taking a few selfies, Tim left the event.

He arrived at a local woodworking shop, where he spoke with the owner and a few employees. He talked about his plans to boost small business with an expansion of grant programs to local entrepreneurs. The owner of the shop was concerned about a higher minimum wage under a Westra administration. Tim assured him that such a policy would be implemented gradually over a set time period so as to allow small businesses to adapt to the change. He said that plans to supplement worker wages, such as his Earned Income Tax Credit expansion proposal, would be a first priority, as well as fining big corporations with low wage workers. This could raise wages without an immediate minimum wage hike. Tim's vision for a change to minimum wage law would be phased in and would first be imposed on large companies, defined as those earning above $7 million or with more than 500 employees. Tim said that it wasn't fair that massive companies like Amazon and Walmart were allowed to thrive without paying any federal income taxes while paying their employees starvation wages, when small businesses were expected to do the heavy lifting of paying those taxes and supporting employees. He promised to utilize tax credits to cover for difficulties that small businesses might face in maintaining employment with a higher minimum wage. He also pointed out that NYC's restaurant industry, which was expected to lose jobs, actually had record job growth after the minimum wage hike. "Also, I won't and am legally not able to use executive order and snap my fingers to raise the minimum wage," Tim chuckled, "I'm not a genie - some other candidates think they are, but not me, unfortunately."

At the end of the day he arrived at the University of Northern Iowa for a town hall.
"Hello, everybody. Thank you so much for graciously hosting me here today. I am so grateful and honored to be here."

"I know what it means to struggle, I know what it means to be a part of the working class - because that is my background. I was not born into privilege. My father wasn't a governor, or a mayor, or a CEO, or really anybody with money and power. My dad was a bus driver with schizophrenia. He never made much money, and we mostly relied on my mom, who was a secretary. We couldn't always pay for his meds on time, sometimes we rationed. There wasn't an abundance of opportunities for kids like me. Frankly, if I wasn't a quarterback, and a damn good one at that, I wouldn't be here today. I probably wouldn't have gone to college."

"None of us want to live in a society where our success relies on luck. That isn't meritocracy. That isn't the American Dream. That is why we fight. This is not a radical vision! This is just an execution of our founding fathers' promise. The promise of equal opportunity! The promise of Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness!"

"What part of that strikes you as a particularly radical approach? Fighting poverty and rooting for the working class, why is that so radical? Workers are, after all, in the majority. Call it democracy or call it progressivism, all we are talking about is putting more power in the hands of the 99%, the majority of the nation."

"And that calls for ideas that, yes, are bold, but are really just proportional responses to the crises we face. The crises that the young generation is going to face! I understand that young people are going to bear the brunt of climate catastrophe. I understand that young people are going to be the ones sent off to die in endless wars, not the boomer generation. I understand that young people are going to earn less than their parents. I understand that young people are being crushed by student debt and the rapid increase in college tuition."

"I know that there is no time to waste, no time for a milquetoast moderate with visions of incrementalism. Because student debt doesn't wait; it just accrues and accrues. Young people are already past $1.5 trillion in cumulative student debt. Climate change doesn't wait; temperatures will continue to rise, hurricanes will continue to wreak havoc on underprivileged communities, and everyone except the very rich will suffer. Geopolitics does not wait; this administration's irresponsible actions in running away from a two-state solution in Israel-Palestine is only serving as a pretext for radicalization and terror, and brings the region one step closer to war."

"I'm a fighter with policy, I've always been. It's my belief that protests inspire the will to change, but policy creates the actual change. So what I'd say is, don't trust people who go out bragging about big ideas without a legislative accomplishment to their name. Don't go trusting folks who brag about their bills but don't actually talk through the details. Because, really, they're just trying to fool you."

"I do have legislative accomplishments to my name. I was one of the original House members who helped to write the Affordable Care Act, and I fought like hell to get it passed. I even wrote the public option amendment to the bill, which unfortunately couldn't get through in the corporate-cash filled chambers of Congress. But in 2020, with a majority of Democrats in support of a competitive public option, I'll get it done. I'll fight for it, because that's what I've fought for my entire life."

"Lots of plans in this race will look similar. But there is actually nuance, and that nuance actually makes a big difference."

"Let's look at how some of my opponents' healthcare plans stack up against mine. Senator Little, Senator Dayton, and I, Senator Westra, all support a public health insurance option. Senator Little's plan charges consumers more because it doesn't cap premiums for anybody, and it is funded by a new payroll tax - a tax hike on the middle class! This is a costly plan for workers, for students, for the majority of this nation. Senator Dayton wants a system that involves implementing a network of public vs private health providers, a system very similar to the NHS in the UK, which has longer wait times than in the US and more cancellation of life-saving surgeries. Her plan would be infinitely more expensive than mine, and would likely involve a middle class tax hike. My plan, Medicare for America, eliminates premiums and copays for the poorest among us, caps premiums for the better-off using the public option at 8% of income and copays at 2%. This is a competitive plan that will force the private industry to lower costs while maintaining an efficient funding system for actual health providers, thus maintaining a high-standard quality of care."

"Clearly, the devil is in the details. I am the healthcare candidate. I wrote the ACA, and folks can trust me to fight for them when it comes to insurance."

"I'm not limited to having the best healthcare plan for Americans. I am the policy candidate. I'll strengthen worker right by mandating that workers receive a share of company stock, an Earned Income Tax Credit expansion, and improving public sector union collective bargaining rights. My aim is to increase union membership by 50% by the end of my first term. I'll fight the climate crisis by investing $3 trillion in green infrastructure and partnering with private industry to attract an additional $9 trillion in investment, because this is the crisis of our time. I'll make public college tuition-free, and cancel a lot of student debt for those who are struggling. I'll eliminate all medical debt, because no one deserves to die in debt just because they are too poor for our inefficient healthcare system. I'll create a federal jobs guarantee, basically a public option for jobs, to eliminate unemployment and underemployment and make the private sector compete with the public job sector in raising wages."

"And we can do all of this, but only with your help. My campaign has been fighting hard, inspired by your fighting spirit. Going into 2020, we need that spirit to propel our worker-led, student-led, diverse movement to the White House."

"And now I will take your questions."

A woman in her early 50s stands "Hi my name is Cindy, I like what you're saying, but I do have a major concern... My father also had schizophrenia and I watched him suffer with it, in the past few years a bunch of research has come out linking schizophrenia to genetic markers. Basically if one of your parents has it then you have a severely increased risk of it yourself, especially as you get older. Ronald Reagan in his final years as President was likely incapable of serving as President. What can you say to assuage my concerns that your father's Schizophrenia won't affect you?"

“Thank you. That is a fair and absolutely important question. The ability of the president to carry out his or her duty to the American people should be a matter of concern to the electorate. I will release medical records as soon as possible. Research has linked schizophrenia to genetics and the risk of getting it goes up from 1 to 10 percent, it’s an absolutely valid concern. What I’ll say is that, as of latest medical visits I am in very fine health to serve, and 10% while a significant statistic definitely is not a guarantor of my mental decline. In the unfortunate but unlikely scenario that I do become unable to serve, I will definitely resign from the office. And, to assuage any uncertainty that a voter may have about who occupies the presidency in my absence, I will be candid with you about what I’m looking for in a Vice President and my cabinet in general. I’m looking for someone with progressive credentials but also someone who can unite the country, someone who represents the diversity of our country, whether it be in race, gender, sexuality, or what state they’re from - like states in the Rust Belt or the South. And, should I be unable to serve, I hope voters will feel safe knowing that my VP will be very, very ready to serve as your president.

Washington D.C., Levi's Office

Levi waited in his office for the Representative to arrive. Once Atang would walk in, his secretary would guide him to his office to begin the meeting.

DAYTON CAMPAIGN AD
Youtube + TikTok + Facebook + Twitter + Instagram + Snapchat

"This is where I grew up," Jillian stood in front of her family's house in Norfolk.
"My dad was a sailor," pictures of her father serving in the Navy filled the screen.
"My mother was a public school teacher," images of her mother at school came next.

The camera cut to her sitting on the couch talking into the camera, "I went to a public school myself, I've seen the state of public education in our country today and it pains me to think that the richest country in human history, isn't able to provide top quality education. I was lucky to access College Education thanks to a scholarship. I wouldn't have made it where I am today without it, but so many other Americans with the potential for greatness don't get to go to College, simply because they can't afford it. Join my campaign, put Fairness First. Let's make College accessible for all. I'm Jillian Dayton, and you can be sure, I support this message."
