We could do one in the past - Weimar Republic, USA in the 1960s, the Iranian Revolution, Latin America in the Cold War, Iraq just after the invasion or any other of 50 scenarios.

Maybe one in the future - one on Mars, or maybe one in a hypothetical 2050s in the USA with automation and genetic modification as major issues, along with further polarisation.

Both of those are cool, I lean toward doing a contemporary city, like I would actually be willing to OP this kind of thing. Creating the lore, the demographics of city neighborhoods, all of that would be pretty interesting. I’m learning more how to make maps on the computer, that would be a big part of creating a city RP as such.
