Yelled at, yes. Fired, no. It was going to make for good plot. That is very much metagaming on the part of Dent to have a player delete a post for OOC purposes.

I am also not sure it is allowed. We have rules about not deleting or editing public speeches, that should apply to major policies. Dent as an admin should have known better.

I mean she's already done something like that (met with Saudi king without telling department of state) so it would not be preferable or realistic for that to be repeated.

Do not listen to Dent, he should not have advised you to break the RP rules. When in doubt, go by the rules. If you need Vaquas, the head OP to provide a further ruling, it can be done.

I did not order someone to do something. If I was wrong to recommend it then I was wrong, I always understood a "Cheat Edit" to be only taking place after someone else posted following the post in question. If im wrong thats on me, I take full responsibility and that won't happen again. My only intention was to try and keep a player from making, what I considered, a huge mistake take could functionally end their characters influence on the RP. I fucked up and I will own that, but it was not intended to be malicious.

It’s alright, this is a new RP and there is a learning curve for all of us. It is good you are trying to help a player new to the “ Washington” system of RPing, but sometimes you have to let plot develop organically. Misra will not be fired, do not worry about that. Now we all know the protocol on this sort of thing, and have all been refreshed on the rules so everything is fine. Let’s get back to the game.
