What would be the protection percentage for Gambeson made from the likes of Cotton and or other similar fibers?

Probably analogous to or slightly better than copper armor.

That's what Oathsworn Skymarines are for!

What you going for flying marines too? I can't see how effective skymarines would be without taking advantage of the maneuverability of the sky. We can shoot down the aership if we had to giving us more of a advantage if I ever get around to this theoretical tech

Good thing I'm not a nation because I would be surrendering to G by now.

You have the best advantage, because your natural spylike, you could infiltrate Gs society without much penalties. Maybe you lose a vampire circle, but not much compared to the rest of vampire society. However if your cowardly demeanor carries over to your vampires, you could easily be betrayed by a cunning vamp who chose to serve G instead of you.

Hungary appears to be on hiatus. Does that means the Kingdom of Serrith should be treated as an NPC?

Hungary has expressed a desire to continue as Serrith to me, but I also haven't heard from him since yesterday. So, I'm probably not NPCing him jussstttt yet.

Kinda awkward when you have the midnight on his doorstep. Should have left a "on vacation" sign.

I'm going to serve him anyway. So it's no issue.

Oh he told me that he would accept fealty. That's all that was really necessary in regard to that interaction.

Too bad I can't recruit any of the Grey who survived the ritual. It would draw too much attention to the Cutazul and their rise to vampiric power.

Sorry for the lack of content lately (even though it doesn't usually make a lot of sense anyways), but I've been pretty busy with rl stuff lately.

In later iterations of this RP - long after the doom that swallowed the Hierarchy - wide-eyed adventurers might stumble upon the horrors of that ancient realm. They will speak in hushed tones of rune-wrought tombs guarded by deathless golems, of sepulchres choked with wealth almost beyond counting, and fell sorcery powered by the blood of man. Such is their heritage.

If the Hierarchy is eventually a massive death zone of eldritch terrors and technological abominations hidden in the deep earth, I will be very happy.

Going to chonk out an update soon, just to get everything squared away before the holidays. Don't sweat it if you can't post in the next hour - I'll be very lenient about retroactive action this time, due to the lack of warning.

I know vampires are faster and more durable/able to regen than humans or elves but how far does that extend and are they stronger than a couple of them or is it just those two stats?

Well, a vampire can easily outrun a human over even short distance, and moves with agility equivalent to peak human performance. Their regeneration varies, but having freshly fed, they can recover from wounds that would kill a man within a few hours. Strength isn't explicitly something they excel at, though obviously the feral rage of a vampire hunting will allow it to block most pain and even ignore damage from overexertion to its own muscles for a time, so that again would put them around peak human performance.

Is there anyway to start selectively breed stronger versions or those who are more magically/intelligent? Like other breeds of vampires that make them more specialized in their covens?

That’s probably more a question for sorcery than breeding, but aye, that’s a fine goal generally.

And everyone - 75% cost to replace losses.
