What is the point of plantations? It doesn't really say what exactly they do mechanically in the description for them.

Also, how many science points would it take to figure out what those two mysterious resources are for?

Hey G, can there be a building called watchpost which can be built in a government district or military district (you decide really), and it subtracts 1 danger? Make it like 10 labor and 10 wealth or something? Maybe have it only allow one built

Ah, I should clarify that. Plantations occupy a peculiar niche, letting you harvest resources that aren’t rocks, ores, trees, or food - things like Cotton and the like.

30 for either - they’re arcane, and so will be quite valuable.

The Firstborn need mages to help understanding and relearning Blood magic. Any researchers or archives that allow the Uusharan to this task will have the mages share their knowledge.

Nah, I just think we've been dealt bad hands, but Xcotl is going to get her vengeance for Sun's Height and take the fight to them. Hell, they may never forgive the Elves for overthrowing them but they can accept the Dark Elves or other exiles should they help in the quest to rid the world of Bloodright.
