Weight: 124 lbs. (56.25 kg.)
Skills: Dextrous, perceptive, well off artistically, softball athlete
Weaknesses: Schizophrenic, paranoid, socially inadequate, weak, recurring nightmares/sleep paralysis

Personality: Erratic, prone to panic, and mentally unstable, Sam regularly takes pills to prevent auditory and visual hallucinations from overtaking her. Her worldview is strange and disjointed, an obsessive paranoia and emotional attachment being her mainstays amongst the living. She suffers from severe delusions as well, believing and trusting the numerous conspiracy theories that frequent the Internet. While her medicine, Thorazine, mostly keeps her in check, it’s only a dampener; and it’s running out.

Occupation: Student - University of California, Los Angeles/Movie Theater Attendant
Equipment:
  • Backpack
  • Laptop
  • Sketchbook w/ pencils
  • Pencil sharpener
  • Mobile phone
  • Phone charger
  • Earbuds
  • Watch (alarm set for Thorazine dosage)
  • School supplies
Bio: Samantha Wickham was born in Northern California to a pair of well-off parents and two siblings. One older brother and one younger, she was mostly friends were her cousin in her early, formative years. Life went well for a long time, but she had always been strange and obsessive over very specific things. She was morbid, curious, and artistic in all regards, similar to her actor of an older brother Wickham and her poet of a younger brother Derek. She never published her artwork, preferring to keep it to herself and maybe one of the two brothers. Overtime, the artwork grew more grotesque, more surreal, more unnatural in appearance.

She went to college in Los Angeles, majoring in journalism to become a freelance reporter, all but a pipe dream. Sam was working at a local movie theater when, at the age of nineteen, her schizophrenia emerged. A rare case, emerging mostly in women in their late 20s. The doctor went over the facts, citing her father’s old age and her mother’s infection during childbirth as the likely causes of this infection. Sam was heartbroken at first, but wasn’t swayed by her parents asking her to come back home. She made the decision to stay at school and work, sticking with it for the last two years. Her prescription has kept her up, but her sanity is being chipped at. Her friends disappeared slowly and soon she had isolated herself with conspiracies and minor delusions. Life only sought to grow worse.

Characters should now be involved in the downtown riot in some way. The radio station is where the characters will meet, and start forming a group.

So, question.
First, how is the infection going to develop in infected hosts who haven't turned yet? Will the host begin to show signs of sickness over a few hours or days?
Also, would anyone be opposed to me bringing in someone infected? For some added conflict/challenge later or something.

If it's a bite or something, its the same as it is in the series, with symptoms similar to a bad flu strain starting to show after a few hours. After a few days, the virus will kill them and reanimate the host. If a person dies from natural causes, they will reanimate within minutes. As for the idea of an infected character, I'd say go for it. Might be interesting.

Age: 20
Sex: Male
Height: 5'10"
Weight: 210 lbs
Skills: Management, History, research, Bird Calls, Biology theory
Musical instruments, drill, first aid, radio operating, glider flying.

Weaknesses: Not very good with survival outside of civilization.
Personality:
Occupation: Pasadena Museum of History Intern
Equipment: Dress clothes, Tweed Jacket, Walkman with 1 cassette, headphones, wallet. Backpack and bag containing his luggage for his vacation, his toiletries, and other things such as a journal and pencils.
Bio:(Two five sentence paragraphs at least. Just pretend your in fifth grade again.

- Grew up in Regina, Saskatchewan
- Practiced piano
- Cadets, participated in drill and band. Learned first aid.
- Attended the university of Regina, studied a bachelor of education majoring in social studies and minoring in biology education.
- Volunteered at a bird sanctuary
- Arrived by plane on a flight that had a stopover in Vancouver to go on a cruise departing from los angelas. When they stopped in los angelas the passengers were not allowed to proceed from the airport due to the virus spreading around.
- Took an international internship in the USA in the Pasadena museum of history.

Otis grew up in Regina. Saskatchewan in a middle class home. When he was a kid he had an interest in music and history, with those being some of his favourite subjects. Growing up he he joined the band club and school yearbook and spent a fair amount of time practicing his piano, reading, writing, playing with friends and doing homework. He only had 2 or 3 friends in school, and outside of school they would play together building LEGO, playing video games and playing board games.

When he was 14 he joined one of the air cadet groups in Regina, and after a year found that he enjoyed it. He wound up joining their marching band, and drill team, as well engaging in extra training offered such as first aid, learning to handle radios and fly gliders. By the end of his Cadet career he obtained both the glider and power pilot scholarships, and taught cadets courses in Canadian history and governance.

In high school he took the basic subjects such as social studies, English, French, physed, and biology, but in addition he also took other classes such as band, and mechanics.

After high school, at the age of 17, he would go on to study a bachelor of education at the university of Regina, majoring in social studies and minoring in biology. When he was 19, and out of Cadets, he started volunteering at a bird sanctuary in town and learning about bird watching as well as was elected to the students association.

When he was 20 he would book a vacation on a cruise line leaving from Los Angelas, and take a plane down to go on the cruise. Things didn’t go according to plan however as the plane was soon made to wait on the tarmac for a few hours before the passengers were unloaded and held in the airport due to the virus traveling about.

The protest downtown against the police shooting of a homeless man turned into a riot, people are bailing from work, the freeways are at a standstill etc. A few people got stuck in the riot downtown, and are holding up in a radio station.

Bio: Shawn E. Howells enlisted into the Army during his college years, attending ROTC while he worked on getting his bachelor's degree. Upon graduation his college with honors and finishing his candidacy training, then 2LT Howells volunteered for additional qualifications and soon found himself attending and graduating from both airborne and ranger officer schools. His first assignment found himself attached to the 75th Ranger Battalion, where he was deployed in support of OIF on two separate year long engagements. However, during his second tour of duty, then 1LT Howells suffered injury at the hand of a roadside bomb that killed one of his crew and left him grievously wounded.

Upon returning stateside for recovery, the DOD decided that it would be best to quietly transition him to a position better suited for his.. condition and soon the young man found himself promoted to the rank of Captain and transferred from his old unit to a newly formed Infantry Regiment that was lacking in officers with tactical experience that would greatly benefit from his knowledge. However, despite his rank and experience, Howell quickly found out that he had been passed over for the CO position, and once again found himself in a platoon leaders spot. Regardless of this minor setback, it was no secret among the company who was next in line in the order of succession once the current CO moved on to greener pastures, and during the last seven months Howell had proved his worth time and time again in the eyes of both his subordinate and superiors.

RP Sample: This war should be enough. I'm on every page, but I really start ramping up the RP starting PG 4.

Looks good, welcome.
"Convallaria: A sprawling sun-soaked dreamscape silhouetted far beyond the ethereal horizons of austere morality and petty mediocrity. But behind the sterile flights of state-sanctioned-fancy lies a paradise lost...a land of milk, honey and sex turned rancid in the sun, as the harshly held colonial disciplines of a bygone era yield to the temptations of society's nighttime fragrances..."

Welcome to the smokey, monochromatic bacchanalia of deco noire and diesel-fueled death traps!

Daily-Trumpet: Circus elephant force-fed crate of tobacco - has escaped into Joaquin River Valley earlier today. | Avalonia suburbs in grip of worst dust storm ever recorded - schools closed - roads blocked - farms blown away. | Dowager actress found dead in Montecorvina
