Hmm, I need a better map. I cant fight or wage a campaign if I don't know much of the terrain.

Anyway, Deian, I estimated the distance between Xian and Shandong to be around 600km or 1,200 li.

Can everyone waging campaign points out their approximate location on a map.

Hmmm, can I put up my troop count as well ( and does that mean Xingtai has more than 1K defending it? )

If its a major population center; aye. If its a small town on the outskirt of the Xia, not so much.[/quote]
It been around since 3000 B.C.E. well, I'm putting my troop count up anyway so... I'll still proceed with the plan

I'm going to fight the gods, for none will be a greater glory and fun then to die fighting the divines.

I'm in the state of Ju, you'll see it on one of the maps.
Southern Shandong Peninsula.

I also said I'm in southwest Xia.

I mean in a census around 1000 B.C.E the population of the Zhou state was over 13 million people.

So, you are not dropping out?
I didn't mention anything in the IC about your characters since I thought you were out.

No I'm not, since things seem to pick with the Emperor finally taking action and Strala wanting to fight Lao.

Well, Loth turned the Xia into NPC after introducing him. I'll assume control to make it interesting for the warring parties. Where's the fun conquering enemies that don't fight back. Alright, I'll make write about that threat next.

Lao would be striking in a nearby province attack Xia fortifications since they would have the provisions and refugees to enslave. Same pillage, rape, and burning that a raider does.

Noted. I'll react accordingly, also please consult before calling out Xia forces actions or losses from here on.

Also, reminder to Lothaia.

That's not a problem, I expect no losses on Lao and all losses against the Xia.

I mean to have the bandit horde be unkillable and the Xia defenders die to the last man. In other words, a joke.

To be fair that post seems unrealistic, like it's been a week, wouldn't it take like a month in those days for a army like that?

http://orbis.stanford.edu/

Assuming similar conditions, you can extrapolate. But not a whole month.

Well then 90,000 troops marching at me, I assume a giant camp, fire, each night, plus a few heads, propaganda, bodies propped along the roads, bodies propped to spook the soldiers, I'll f*cking guerilla the shit out of them
