Bio: The Gao family have been intertwined with the economic fabric of Su for as long as it has existed, their careful and moral practice of mercantilism brought them up to being some of the most well respected and wealthiest men in all of Su. At their very height under Gao Zongwu's father: Gao Sen the financial tendrils of the Gao family stretched across all of Lu province and had grown to be deeply involved in the politics of the region. Gao Sen also had the ambition to fuel his rise to power, he sought to see his family ascend from the small world of Lu province into the lofty heights of the Imperial court. Wealth, respect and power in the golden age of the Gao family these three things had become a fundamental right of every Gao family member. Then the summer of Gao Sen came to an end and the winter of Gao Fang had begun.
Gao Sen had two sons: Gao Fang and Gao Zongwu, both were extremely adept in the art of business however Gao Zongwu was more inclined to the social side of business while Gao Fang preferred cold, hard numbers. When he was nearing his death Gao Sen was assured that under the leadership of his two sons the fortunes of the family would only increase and indeed in the first few years of their leadership they were able to follow up on their father's ambition and were now entering into deals with other merchant families from neighbouring provinces to expand the Gao family across the empire.
It was truly unfortunate then that on his way to Qi province Gao Fang and his party were attacked by a band of bandits, Gao Fang himself was captured and a hefty ransom was demanded if Gao Zongwu sought to see his brother again in one piece. Gao Zongwu of course paid the price and in accordance with the deal his brother was returned to him yet it was not the same man as the one who had left for Qi. When the bandits had Gao Fang in chains he was tortured, starved and stripped of all dignity. All this had given a new view of mankind, one in which he would now look at the world through rage-tinted eyes. No longer would the Gao family hold back in the acquisition of wealth, respect was worth nothing when compared to gold!
For ten long years Gao Fang had grown to be a debauched and hateful sadists, he had sacrificed the families wealth and respect in Su for the pursuit of his sickening desires and had piece by piece sold away the family business. Of all this Gao Zongwu had grown tired however more importantly he had grown tired of being side lined in the running of the Gao family, it started off as a mere thought, then the thought became an idea, the idea formulated itself into a plan, men were paid , an alibi was made and soon Gao Fang was dead. Now with Gao Zongwu at the head of the family with only a few farms, an iron mine and a merchant ship to his name his has set out to fulfil his father's dream and repair the damage done by his brother.

Anyway, you wanted me to lower the number down to give advantage to Ju? I don't mind.
No I was just unaware.
Dammit Wikipedia you misled me.
I'll up my troops then to 10K or 20K, I got the wrong statistics by using the battle of Muye as a basis.
