No, I was more thinking of, leaving bloodied corpses of defeated soldiers on the side of roads for them to root ( sometimes decapitated [ heads will be used later ] ) with a wooden plate saying "A Xia Dog"

Lao just destroys villages and towns. He lives the bodies of the defeated and the massacred as evidence he was there. If that doesn't make the Xia soldiers shit themselves seeing the drunk monster then I don't know what will.

Yes, but, contrary to your char, Zhin doesn't want mindless pillaging but the rule of some territory, so it's better if the people don't immediately hate Zhin
