I've finally made a decision on how to act in the RP, after debating with myself and others.

To be fair I kinda talked to his friend since I coulda surrendered or fought and saw validity in both so his friend-a professional-could have leaked it to him if he wanted it.That said, actual military tactics will be kept hidden for fun surprise/the glory of competition else ruins the feel.

Nah, he only mentioned it; I never asked about it. Why ruin the surprised; was interested to see what you'll come up with. Besides, since we are not bound to realistic topographic maps- hence, preventing me from utilizing the full range actual tactics and strategy - I guess we're down to Romance of The Three Kingdom story telling.

I have no objections with stats; it's just how some of the narrative portrays them ...just doesn't seems fit.

In some areas, they cut down the trees, dragging them onto the road, and tying them down. In others, they came about and burned fields, poisoning the water. In others, they left traps-potholes covered by fake earth, loose rocks above the roads, spikes set along the roads. They cut down bridges behind them. Many of them knew it was almost certainly a suicide mission, but they did not care. In one place, Yin personally directed the redirecting of a river, something he swore never to try again. And as they went along, they advanced towards the Zhao army, coming ever closer.

How large of a force is conducting this delaying tactics? I'm not sure if they're escorted by the Ju forces or they're the small 'van' you mentioned in the previous paragraph.

Not very large, 150 at most. It’s a mission of speed and stealth, not combat.

It's hard for Chu to react since we haven't gotten any official response from Ju, and these small delaying tactics somehow can be easily misunderstood as resistance.
