So guys, no word from tagali about this, but these are some things involving useage of Psychics Psionics Ithalian and I thought up.

Be reasonable first and foremost.

Discuss it with the other rpers/players involved if any

Try to describe how it works, either here or IC'ly when in use. For example, in their post Ralnis described using Psychics/Psionics to bypassstealth countermeasures. Presumably it would work by detecting thought waves or the like, but even if they did have a psychic with them, would the first guy still detect the second rendering their efforts void? Aditionally do materials and distance mean nothing in that case, etc?

The post itself was no issue to me it just brought up possible future concerns. I had presumed you, Tau, and Hungary had some of the details of your war worked out already, that included.

Not that i am aware of, the app has been accepted and added into the roster, said roster has not replaced the one on the first page yet however.

Looking over the number of civilizations with an emphasis on ambush and asymmetrical warfare in their military... and considering the "backwater" reputation of the Orion Arm...

I'd say there's a decent precedent to argue we could make this region of space the Afghanistan of the Milkway. (Or at the very least, the Graveyard of the Talagi Empire)

As for the early discussion about translation, I'd like to propose the following horrifying reality. Depending on your Technological Tier, paralleling the evolution of translation technology, and modified based on the disparity in technology and communication mediums between species (i.e. a Tier 1 race that communicates via pheromones talking to a Tier 3 race that communicates via brainwave emissions),

you have to churn your desired message through the hellish maelstrom of Google Translate a certain number of times.

If you really wanted an explanation, you could just handwave it as translators basing the translation upon some kind of consistent neural signs that works as an universal code for every organic form of life. As in, every time a organic form of life asks an question, some part of their brain releases does something that makes it possible to basically boil down everything into an code that works for every race that speaks normally. Until, of course, you get into the whole pheromone and other stuff. But i'd say that talking is probably the most likely way as it allows for more complex talking, since it's harder to develop an entirely new pheromone to ask a question than to just say "Where's the lemon juice"

Or people just agreed on some kind of space esperanto, i don't know.

To clarify OOCly, the Summit is not inherently about the Tagali, though they could be brought up as a subject. Predominantly I am figuring the talks are as of yet Informal and are for trade talks, cultural exchanges, deepening of Bond's and ties, etc.

Well, was not really asking if anyone is interested in joining the Summit, it was about to begin, but having your people there should be interesting. Especially since the Union state has a representative present.
