What the hell? WHy are the brits just bumbling into war in the congo? just flat out war, no warnings or diplomatic overtures just flat out invasion based on a very vague and unproven claim. Parliament is going to be livid as is public opinion in Britain, plus NONE of the country is prepared to go to war, 0 mobilization for a conflict that will involve other european powers. Where are the conferences, the concert of europe which has kept it at relative peace for a century?

Idk I don't think Britain would even need full mobilisation just for aiding an ally in putting down a rebellion in one of their colonies, would probably require approval from parliament though

Question, how AU can we make our nation? What kind of Point of Divergence am I looking at here?

Nation idea is a rising Persian Empire pressing into the Ottoman holdings as instability prevents them from holding onto the fertile crescent. The reason for the PoD question, was seeing if it could be Zoroastrian. If not that's fine, if the below map is alright for starting borders I'll fill out an app a little later today.

And not only that, but I find it hard to believe you could mobilise a thousand men on such short notice for a taskforce like that

Like you could say "hey, we're preparing a thousand men to march into Ethiopia," but in one post you not only mobilised and organised a task force from a thousand men but marched them through several hundreds of km of desert, all in about 2 sentences

The British Empire borders Ethiopia way of by Sudan, Kenya, British Somaliland etc, any war that happens is inevitably going to cause disruption and spillover into neighboring territories
