Traditional criteria are mostly shot for this cycle, the Mayor of South Bend is thrashing the mayor of NYC in the polls

Mayor mostly sucks for Prez runs anyways but its still a little crazy

The NY paradox is that their mayor’s run all the time but never get anywhere. Talk about New York ego.

Recent election cycles have turned precedent upside down. In 2016 a no government experience businessman became president. He defeated governors and senators in the GOP primary.

However 2020 is actually is mostly not that exciting, with the 3 out of the top five being senators, 1 being VP, and Buttigieg being the odd one out.

Rudy Giuliani nearly made it in 2008 but he was dragged down in the GOP primary by his huge weakness of being Rudy Giuliani

I thought being Rudy was fine. I think his biggest issues were relative social liberalism and a campaign strategy that ignored Iowa and New Hampshire.

Wasn't domestic abuse the reason this guy didn't run in the first place?

I tend to not think so. It helps, but history has plenty of cases showing that it is not vital.

My overall account that I use for P2TM and even for international roleplaying! MNM is a mysterious and extremely dangerous dictatorship filled with supernatural oddities, demons, militarized soldiers everywhere, and a misanthropic nihilistic dictator who doesn't give a damn. Probably not children. I assumed as much, but this clearly targeted as a coffee table book for die hard Hillary Clinton fans given some language and references made within it (what child would play with a Scott Walker doll?). Also some company called ‘Quirkbooks’ made it.

Biography: Camila María José Morales was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, surrounded by the entirety of her extended family on one of the many properties held in the Morales name. Her father, the son of Puerto Rico Speaker of the House Juan Manuel Ignacio Morales III, was an up and coming member of the territory’s lower house himself. He had previously served in the United States Airforce and married former Miss Florida Alexandra Ocasio-Martinez, who would welcome the birth of her first girl with glee and excitement. The Morales Family’s personal physician noted that she had been a much smoother delivery than her brother who had been born 10 months prior, a dynamic that would turn on its head when the two began to develop into very different children.

While Juan V would set himself apart as an especially agreeable and content child, Camila would set herself apart as the exact opposite, often ripping things apart and throwing tantrums just for the sake of doing so. She would see a child psychiatrist until high school, largely dealing with underlying issues related to anxiety whilst maintaining an adversarial relationship with Juan and internalizing a good bit of insecurity, despite her beauty. She would attend private catholic institutions through primary, secondary, and high school, and would take luxurious trips abroad nearly every year with her parents and a close friend. A good student, her college applications would stand out not because of her academics, but because of her essays and her numerous leadership roles and extracurricular activities. She would be admitted to several top schools, but would settle on Notre Dame as her final choice.

Camila would attend initially as an English student, but would switch her major first to urban planning and then to political science after deciding that she would enter the family business and pursue politics as a career. She would make several friends at Notre Dame, including her husband, who she would marry a year after graduation with her bachelors degree, Christos Anastas, the son of a Greek Millionaire and a Spanish Fashion Designer who was studying in the United States. Camila would go almost straight into graduate school and receive her Masters in Global Studies, writing extensively about Caribbean affairs in her papers and returning to Puerto Rico following the program’s conclusion. Her husband would find a high-ranking position at OFG Bancorp to slide into as she began work as a member within the PNP’s leadership apparatus with the help of her father. Her professional career would be sidelined by the birth of her only child, Manolito Esteban Gallego Morales, but she would resume her position within the party two years later.

She would act within the party apparatus until her father’s ascension to the Governorship in 2013, when she join the administration as an informal adviser. In 2015, following the death of her father’s Chief of Staff, she was appointed to the position and immediately began taking an active role in the course of his administration. This was looked down upon due to concerns about flagrant nepotism, but the popularity of the man seemed to cancel out criticism of his employment choices. In 2016, following the announcement that the incumbent would be challenging her father for the Governorship of Puerto Rico, Camila sprung into action and ran for Resident Commissioner against the man’s wife in the PNP primary. The race was covered with great interest and was widely considered to be Camila’s to lose with a wide lead, though scandal broke shortly before the election regarding the rather liberal use of homophobic slurs in private messages to describe people she disagreed with on the island. Her opponent seized, and opposition was whipped up, but on election day her father’s popularity helped drag her over the finish line, taking 51% to her opponent’s 49%. In the general election she chiefly faced the former president of the PPD, and the fight was brutal. Allegations of corruption and elitism were thrown in her direction, countered by accusations of marital infidelity and loose ties to the campaign of Governor Robert Danders, to whom her opponent’s brother donated heftily during the Democratic primary. A debate was held and considered a draw, both candidates holding their own and drawing a significant dedicated following. As the election drew to a close, however, Camila’s full throated support of Calvin Reed, who was particularly popular in the island territory, would boost her numbers greatly. She would win the election 52% to 45%, with the minor parties taking the rest and her being sworn in as the first female Resident Commissioner in Puerto Rican History.

Notably, Camila has been present for nearly every vote in the House, despite not being able to cast a vote of her own, telling the press that she is doing it out of principle. She is a fierce supporter of statehood for Puerto Rico and intends to take this message wherever she goes.

Other Info: Her father, Juan Manuel Ignacio Morales IV is the current Governor of Puerto Rico, having been reelected in 2016. Her brother, Juan Manuel Ignacio Morales V has been nominated to serve as the United States Ambassador to Uruguay. Her sister, Eva Elise Martina Morales, a model, is currently married to Prince Rafael Antonio Gonzaga of House Orléans-Braganza, who is (disputably) third in line to the defunct Imperial Throne of Brazil. Camila is a Devout Roman Catholic. Naturally, Fluent in Spanish and English, working knowledge of Latin. Husband has residences in Greece, Puerto Rico, and Washington DC. Net worth of family is expansive but undisclosed. Her son is 13 and currently attends private school in Puerto Rico.

I have read and accept the rules of the roleplay: Vaquas
