Interesting to see a mild divergence between Amaras and Harrington. He largely favors the bill.

Im surprised, not that Amaras favors paper but instead allowing the federal government to put that kind of a mandate on states which is the IRL argument against many of the security bills being debated right now

Yeah I’m hoping the delivery is discrete otherwise I don’t know how I’m gong to explain it; “yeah so I bough this children’s book and playset because a guy in Poland thought it would be funny”

Thankfully I had a Amazon gift card, so undetectable.

Ok everyone. If you had to pick the one Democrat you think is going to win the 2020 nomination, who would you pick?

My money is either Biden or Warren. I think it’s coming down to either of them. I’d prefer Biden, both both have an equal shot.

It is a fairly mild mandate, in only requiring the hard-copy ballots without strictly regulating the actual process or specifics, and thus does not run too far afoul of his sensibilities.

A purely state-level bill, as he will likely note in opposition to Samaras, would lack teeth in a state such as California, where, particularly from his assessment, fraud is most prevalent.

I wanna say my socialist granpa Bernie, but it'll probably be Harris.

There's no way that Biden wins it. He has a black belt in failing miserably.

They’ve been saying that about Biden since the beginning. ‘Oh he’s going to gaffe his way down’, ‘oh he’s gonna fail’, ‘oh his record will destroy him’, etc. But his polling is holding steady around 30%. I think he’ll make it as the moderate candidate.

My labour notes (obviously only as a transition currency to fully automated gay space communism) are on well-known and avowed centrist Bernie Sanders.

ONLY one?

Hmmm........ I’d say Biden, but only because Bernie and Warren will probably stay long enough to split the progressive vote.

Clinton had a lead of 30 percentage points at this stage back in '08 and Biden's staffers are considering scaling down the amount of his campaign events cause his brain is melting.

Very much a liberal Republican, likely the most liberal in the Senate, though with something of a neoconservative tinge, moreso domestically than internationally, as I recall. An avowed free-trade advocate as well, though positions on that issue increasingly cut across typical political lines.
