Im surprised, not that Amaras favors paper but instead allowing the federal government to put that kind of a mandate on states which is the IRL argument against many of the security bills being debated right now

Very much a liberal Republican, likely the most liberal in the Senate, though with something of a neoconservative tinge. An avowed free-trade advocate as well, though positions on that issue increasingly cut across typical political lines.
