It’s a pretty common practice, especially if the RP is of a very large scale, or if the OP knows that they will be too busy to dedicate enough time to the RP.

Nope. I just happen to be looking for an RP that doesn’t involve having to study thousands of pages of lore. This happened to be the most interesting.

Also, could I also ask about the desired posting frequency of this RP?

I’m studying and working a pretty hectic job at the same time (plus in a relationship to boot), so I may only be able to post around once or twice a week. Of course, that’s because i tend to write rather long responses, so if frequency is desired over detail, I could always write shorter posts.

Im okay with a relatively slow posting style

I myself work a day job but I will try to be very very active on time off

However I understand everyone has a different schedule

Let’s see where Haven’s at with their recruitment

Appearance: 6'0", a bit overweight but with a decent amount muscle and strong posture. He has messy brown hair that always curls a while after combing it. Big brown eyes. Wears a nerdy leather jacket with a yellow 13 stitched on the back (Fallout inspired) over a grey t-shirt and well worn jeans.

Personality: A bit of an introverted nerd, preferring to spend his time alone more than anything else. When he is around other people he's a complete doormat, doing whatever someone wants simply out of a desire to be kind. Dislikes confrontation as it forces him to pick a side, and while he has very strong opinions and desires, he doesn't want to make anyone mad by going against them. He'll open up and talk just the same as anyone else if he feel's that he doesn't have to impress or please you and he's actually quite intelligent and funny, but most only see the quiet, shy, anxious wreck that he is most of the time. Only came along on the trip because Gerry 'adopted' him and pressured him to go.

He wants to be a screenwriter/director, and works behind the scenes with the school theater department. They are his only real friends.

I’m starting to like these characters a bit too much. I’m thinking of revising the kill policy...

Is everyone okay with a high casualty policy or should we make survival easier?

On the one hand in a traditional slasher at least some characters typically die quite soon and suddenly

What do you all think ?

But then what if the injured parties identified the killers based on clothing and body build etc (even if they had masks)?

That’s what I originally had in mind but now I’m concerned players won’t have fun if they are killed too quickly

Because with the original rules, by necessity some people will die quite fast

I’ll strike a compromise between high and low casualty. Maybe if your character dies you can re enter as a new character you want pending op approval?

Sone new characters may turn up at the party later

Maybe a nearby land owner or a concerned parent etc?

The cliche of the incompetent police showing up?
