"Yes I suppose that elephant in the room needs to be addressed" she began, wondering what Quarji had in mind for those plans.

She had noticed the two birds but had shown no signs of noticing them as at a time of this many secrets and conspiracies it seemed to her to be prudent to not be seen being conspiratorial.

"But I fear there is a Kraken in the room that needs the addressing even more so than the elephant" she stated, wondering what the point of asking her to follow him was if he wasn't going to go anywhere.

"I have some concerns I wish to speak over in private that concerns the your pantheon in particular" she explained.

"But I am unsure if this is precisely the right place to speak of them" she said pointedly, wondering if they had any inkling of just what worries were plaguing her at the moment.

Maybe she was crazy but.... To her they didn't seem to know just how much danger any one of them could be at this very moment here....

Dhemtar, Archon of Fundamental Space

Dhemtar was tad bit surprised to see Juras beside him, although it wasn't out of the normal due to the circumstances surrounding the meeting. Perhaps it would be a decent time to discuss Gaisa and the Beyond Breach.

"I needed something to distract the eyes of Athantos and others to hide an expedition of mine, props. I believe the Teloculists have it out of control, and I'm mainly saying that because they are doing well by themselves and because I believe you are here to discuss Gaisa and Beyond Unera, correct? I've got more than my fair share of thoughts as well as a discrete expedition."

With that, Dhemtar relaxed himself, conjuring a shower of meteors to form a rudimentary chair, beckoning for Juras to do the same.

Juras obliged, forming a chair out of ice with cushions of snow, and sat down. "While I was waiting for you, I pulled out everything on Gaisa From the Geminus Library. There isn't much, I'm afraid". He pulled out 3 old books. "She was the Goddess of lightning, she apparently was very beautiful, and she wore a lot of metal armor and jewelry. But the most interesting part..." He pulled out a bag with a Silver ring inside. "This was stored in the Geminus Museum of Unera History".

Dhemtar, Archon of Fundamental Space

Dhemtar made a few hand signals to a Teloculist and spun a wormhole, the Teloculist entering and leaving with two books on Gaisa. The first one read, The Storming Deva of Lightning, Gaisa and the second one read The Gaisa Case.

"Nothing out of the ordinary for Gaisa, she was particularly fond of conductive materials in her armor. After all, she was immune to it. Her beauty was definitely outmatched, in fact, there may be a few paintings of her done by my worshipers here in Obelora. From what I remember, she was definitely a brave one, wasn't afraid to fight anyone. At the same time, her lightning-fast sense of humor caught me everytime. As for that ring, I have no record of her wearing rings. Care to explain?"

Juras shrugged. "It was found in her lockbox in a Geminus bank after we heard she died. There are carvings that I believe to be an extremely old dialect of Celestial. So old that I could barely recognize it. Here, take a look". He handed it to him. "There is only one person in the world with enough records, books, and knowledge to decipher it. We would have had to go to her anyway, but this prompts us to see her soon. Anyway, what do you think Athanatos was hiding? Gaisa was an excellent goddess. In fact, If something happened to me, she would have inherited control of Geminus. Something is just off about all of this".

Dhemtar, Archon of Fundamental Space

Dhemtar searched over the ring for any possible details he could find as he spoke.

"I've certainly forgotten my old Celestial, after all, historically I was a supporter for more advanced dialects of Celestial. In all honestly, I don't know what Athanatos is hiding about Gaisa's death. She was a fantastic person, why would she be connected with the Breach? Actually, that reminds me of something. The Gaisa Case, one of the two books that Teloculist Zhou just brought me has a rather interesting case itself. The author of the Gaisa Case, A rather welsh Teloculist by the name of Gweir wrote and self-published this book. In case you haven't read it before, The Gaisa Case is a detailed and exhaustive timeline of the Breach and the mysteries surrounding Gaisa's death. You could say he was a bit of a crazy theorist. Anyways, not long after he published the book, he disappeared from sight and nobody's seen or heard of him since. This was overshadowed by a memorial held here in Obelora for Gaisa, and I turned a blind eye towards investigating the case as I believed that the recent events were a bit much. But now that Athanatos dropped the red pill, I believe the case of Gweir may also be worth investigating alongside the person who could decipher old Celestial. What do you think, Juras?"

Juras nodded. "If Gweir's death is connected, this could implicate Athanatos in a huge conspiracy, the biggest Unera's ever seen. And the person who could decipher the old celestial would get to choose to help us, but I figure she will. After all, Minerva is not one to hold back knowledge". He made a note in his notebook, then looked up at Dhemtar. "If Athanatos really killed Gweir and Gaisa in ill will, what would we do? Expose him? Depose him? What would be our next step?".

Thaetol teleported to the nearest portal to the Mortal Realm and said to the Angel guarding it "Let me through, I am Thaetol", the Angel was obviously confused but let Thaetol through. As Thaetol stepped onto Earth once again he had 10 or 11 urgent cases to attend to, of course, while he was dealing with those 10, 10 more would come, and so it went, with every meeting more and more cases pilled up. Thaetol teleported to a crashed car in a woods somewhere in Scotland, there were two people in the car, a man and a woman, the man, unfortunately, had his throat pierced and so could not speak but both it seemed noticed Thaetol, "Who are you?" Asked the woman with weak voice "Thaetol, I'm sorry I kept you waiting" the woman smiled "You are the Death God", Thaetol replied, "Yes, grab my hand, I don't have much time, unfortunately", she asked "Where are we going?" "Depending who you worshipped" "We both worshipped Juras" "Well, I think you're going to like it" Thaetol said as he grabbed the hand of the man, after that, the man's hand dropped and he stopped living, soon in Juras'es domain would arrive a new worshipper and after that the next one. After that was done Thaetol teleported to the next case

Dhemtar, Archon of Fundamental Space

Dhemtar sighed and thought for a bit, his chin resting upon his hand.

"This is indeed the biggest conspiracy to grace Unera, in fact, I don't think any grand human conspiracy theory could match the implications of this one. Gweir's disappearance may indeed by connected, but we don't have enough evidence to point it at Athanatos yet. All we have for him is that he disappeared soon after The Gaisa Case was published, he may have known something. If we want more concrete evidence that Athanatos had a hand in his disappearance we could try investigating his residence."

Juras thought for a moment. "That would require him to have left his residence. I have the perfect thing. After all, the Lunar Eclipse is in three days, and the Eclipse Festival will start then, lasting nine days. Each festival has a guest of honor, who is introduced at a party a few days before the Eclipse. The Party is in Geminus. I could make him the Guest of Honor".

Dhemtar, Archon of Fundamental Space

"Ah-ha-HA! Great idea, Juras! While the festival is going on the Obelisk collapse could be used as an even better cover, as we could fabricate a cover story about my absence due to ongoing repairs. While Athanatos is the Guest of Honor at the party we could be infiltrating his residence to search for any records of Gweir and Gaisa. Before we get on to that, however, I believe we can get truly started on Gweir's case by searching his home here in Obelora for any evidence. Ever since his disappearance I've heard It's been abandoned and avoided due to thoughts of it being a bad omen. Perhaps there's foundational evidence there."

Dhemtar, Archon of Fundamental Space

"Then I believe we must act quick in our search before the Festival, I know where Gweir's former residence is, thankfully. Let us be on our way. It has been abandoned for quite a while now, so expect it to be rather run-down."

With that, Dhemtar stood up and spun a wormhole large enough to fit both of them, stepping through onto the walkway. If Juras stepped through or teleported they would be greeted with a white and hold pillar walkway. The pillar itself matched the coloration. In front of them was a worn and torn set of double-doors with minor cobwebs around it. The white and gold of this pillar in general was stained with abandonment and disrepair. Gweir had disappeared a while ago, but only a few days after The Gaisa Case was published. What would they find inside?

Juras materialized out of water next to Dhemtar. "Wow. You weren't kidding about run-down". He wiped the cobwebs off of the door and pillar and tried to open the door, but it wouldn't budge. "Locked. But thankfully, I know a little trick". Concentrating, he filled the lock with water, then froze it into the exact shape of the key, and turned the new Ice key. The door creaked loudly, but opened. "After you" He said.

Dhemtar, Archon of Fundamental Space

"Good one, let's see what we find."
Theme
The place was a mess, ruined furniture and sheets spread across the floors. The dusty bookshelves that lined the walls in front of them were ruined and full of bookworms. A fireplace between the bookshelves had been extuingished a long time ago. The left and right walls had equally worn doors. Curiously, shattered fragments of a glass orb were seen in front of the bookshelves. There was a table lining the center of the room with a couch on one side and a series of broken chairs on the other. Rotten food and old dishes alongside their utensils dotted the table and seating. There was a copious amount of webbing, too much for this level of disrepair. The left door was obscured by the webs and the right appeared to have been charred in some way. There also appeared to be a strangely reflective spot in between two bookshelves, It warranted a deeper look.

"This place was trashed a while ago... Wow. Well, I guess we start looking."

Dhemtar moved over to the left wall, examining the webs and trying to deduce an origin. How was there simply that much webbing?

Juras waved his hand, and a trickle of water appeared, washing some of the webbing off of the wall. He then went to inspect the bookshelves, when a particular book caught his eye. "The original manuscript of The Gaisa Case". He wiped it off and frowned. "It's bigger than the copy you have, and has handwritten notes inside. Also, It's written in Obelora Celestial, even though I'm a linguist, I can only recognize a few words in phrases". He handed it to him. "Would you do the honors?".

Dhemtar, Archon of Fundamental Space

Some particularly thick webs appeared unharmed triggering Dhemtar's imagination and curiosity. he wondered what creature could have produced it. Upon hearing Juras's find of the original manuscript of The Gaisa Case, he stood up and looked forward. Bigger, handwritten notes, and written in Obelora Celestial. He took the book in his hands and began reading from the notes first before moving on to the text of the book itself.

"Strange... mentions of a faint and difficult to notice residue of crimson coloration on Gaisa's jewelry. He goes on for a bit about the residue itself, apparently that It isn't from around Olimpia or Obelora. He believes it may have originated in Telmun or somewhere else. He also says that during the time before Gaisa's death she appeared to be less humorous and spunky like she usually was, which was not the case before It's appearance on her being. There's mention of a dim red dot in the night sky the day of Gaisa's death, that's not normal. Apparently a mention of faint yellow lights in the sky following Gaisa's death, but they have slowly disappeared. He stated that these lights were easily mistaken for stars, but that something was off about them. He doesn't go into detail about what was actually wrong with the lights, but that they are likely connected to Athanatos in some way, shape, or form. Hmm? There's a little bump at the back..."

He plucked his fingers into the back pages, pulling out a thin leathery pouch. Within it was a note.

"The note reads: I believe Athanatos is after me, I will let my Great Harridan loose in the bedroom and do a controlled torching of my study. If anyone with suspicions to Athanatos finds this, kill the Harridan and look for a black tablet inscribed with old Obelora Celestial... Do you see a black tablet anywhere?"

He looked around the room for a couple minutes, finding nothing. Until he spotted a nook in the fireplace. After taking a closer look, he pulled out a heavy Onix tablet with Obelora Celestial engravings. "Bingo" He said, handing it to Dhemtar. "And please don't tell me a great harridan is a spider".

Kefáli, energy bound to a soul, a spirit, a being. His aura radiating from him in white-blue ripples. Like waves moving through water his energy dissipates the farther it gets from him...until it's completely gone. He'd been to the meeting and sat in the back without a word or thought. He attended as asked and that was all he needed to do. Besides, he had more fun things to do...like mess with some mortals.

His energy was always felt by anyone near him, but it just took the right being to identify him for what he truly was: the God of the Mind. Gone mental? Probably Kefáli. Seeing things? Kefáli. Possessed to do the most unspeakable things? Definitely Kefáli. While undoubtedly having the power to do unspeakably cruel things to mortals he wasn't without his virtues. He cared for mortals and loved tending to the minds of the most brilliant thinkers, engineers, and rulers. He handed out punishments and rewards as seen fit, mostly.

He decided today was just a good day to rest and look at the sunset. He forgot where he was in the beauty of it all. He didn't care though. He just wanted to rest.

Seeing that both will have to talk with Minerva alone at some other point in time both birds launched into the sky and left. The Eagle flew into its usual residence and the Falcon flew towards Juras, he was hoping to also catch up with Dhemtar, if not it didn’t really matter. As he was flying he remembered Gaisa, Gaisa and him were pretty close up to 98 years ago when she mysteriously started acting strange. She cut off friendship relationship with him so he went to his brother Gonz, and since then have been best of friends, he was really sad that she had died, but that was the Crossroad she took, Decisions that took her to the grave by Athanatos. Instead of going to Juras he decided to go down to the mortal world.

Carstol Deva of Decisions, Crossroads, and Agriculture
Carstol arrived at the portal leading down into the mortal world, seeing Carstol was not in the mood the angels guarding the portal quickly let him through Carstol appeared in a small town in the state of Colorado in the USA. The town was specialized in the field of Agriculture which is why Carstol was there. There had been an accident and Carstol personally went there to the person that was indeed going to die that day. He knew sooner or later Thaetol would notice and would also come so he waited he stood quite ways so the mortal wouldn’t know he was there. He was in his antelope form grazing nearby waiting for Thaetol. The soon to die was a man called by name Markus Antonius, he thought it was an interesting name, but no matter he stood there. Waiting.

"Unfortunately, a Great Harridan is a giant spider out of Telmun, because of course it's out of Telmun. I remember regaling some mortals with tales of Telmun before, they compared it to a nation called Australia. Ha! Australia is basically a calmer version of Telmun!"

He set the manuscript down and heaved the tablet onto his lap, frowning a bit.

"The text is in reverse, to read it properly we'd need a mirror."

There came a scratching at the left door, the Harridan must've awakened and heard the commotion that they had been making. An armored arachnid leg punched through the wall and an ear-splitting screech was heard. The Harridan was hungry, It's usual prey of insects and rats wasn't satisfying it any longer.

Juras cursed under his breath in a language humans called French. "Well, its certainly similar to Australia. I've been a couple times". He waved his hands, and he was surrounded by extremely sharp blades of ice. With another wave of his hand, they embedded themselves into the Great Harridan. "Is it poisonous?".

"Unfortunately so. Great Harridan venom is practically acid."

The Harridan recoiled, making an effort to attempt crashing down the door. Three more legs arrived and tore down a section of it, allowing the creature through. Dhemtar manifested a nebula cloud and battered It's eyes with minute specks of dust. Much of the eyes weren't given enough to time close their translucent, armored caps.

While the Harridan was blind, Juras drew a pair of bejeweled sharp daggers, aimed for the Harridan's head, and threw them, both hitting their mark.
