Rock rabbits are actually a RL creature - hyraxes :P

It should be noted: that multiple scholars increase the likely hood of that thing being reaserched - AND completing steps in the process towards that tech may boost it. for instance- meeting another tribe may boost your writing tech, or exploring multiple tiles will boost your looks into basic astronomy.

Of course, it's G-Tech. We all know he will be getting the luck of the gods. I just rather not try to min-max my tribe in order to try and keep up with G-Tech. But that was my fault for assuming that we were getting the old system.

JESUS 11/13 players in less than 24 hours... well - I guess I'll start getting the tinder for the update Machine campfire. Just be aware the expected time has shifted for 1 post / 48 hours. Will update OP soon.

Also... ooooh boy. These were some bad roles for the year's weather. almost everyone either rolled 1/8 or 8/8. lol

Well let's see... its a very poor quality hut: so probably not. And even those who do: it will not be very quality protection. Consider adding onto it!

Just to clarify - are Cedars actually a useful resource, since the generic resources include trees? I figured I could use one of the cedars for housing, but apparently that doesn't count.

Ah- so cedars will count in 2 ways, methinks. Onesies, next era, or perhaps after, you will want specific trees whenever deforestation // need for higher quality lumber arises. Secondly, you can use one for housing, you will simply need to assign a worker to making a home from them, as I think you did this turn no?

Ah yes - even so. Last turn, though, I was thinking the Sea-Blessed could use an older partially hollow tree as an impromptu dwelling with no labor investment, as many creatures do. Right now they're just reinforcing the dwelling using the timbers collected, since the timbers weren't available initially.

Edit: Just to clarify, ancient cedars can grow to as much as 80 feet wide, thus why I thought it would make a good dwelling. Much larger, and tougher, than most any dwelling my Neolithic villagers would be capable of creating at this point. With a fire tended in front of the entrance to the partially-hollow still-living tree to keep away predators, it strikes me as a great dwelling.
