You got to feed them. That's what its boiling down to. Feeding them. You have rudimentary horticulture. While there is a small chance of being able to bring seeds from another area and plant them successfully, there is no understanding of actual agricultural processes to mass farm them in any meaningful way. Trust me, it's been painful on this end to watch as well.

Considering you didn't preserve anything from last year for this year, no it didn't.
If you focus on having your tribes people do one thing, then typically you receive higher results there. You have two scholars, that's two attempts at technology, and if they work on the same technology they help each other out. You could focus them towards techs that increase food production.

We can switch you over to a character if that's what you wish. You honestly are not in a bad spot, you need to split your actions less and focus on getting the tribe to the next year every time. You are coming in close, but splitting actions has time and time again been what's gotten everyone into trouble.
