Vuthar

They did it, they managed to kill Apophis before it reaches Mount Aetherius but the cost of it. He looked around the landscape as he slowly made his to the rest of the gods. He had sustained some minor injuries and held his hammer in his right hand. Eventually, he made his way to where Apophis lay dead and spat at its corpse. "Voriss you have been averaged", he said proudly. He looked up to the sunless dark sky. It would take some time until the sun will return. Till then, plans on helping on the mortals that survived but, first he should heal himself before continuing on.

Action: Heal his wounds

Laab'as, the Wheel of Mortal Magic

The Great beast, Apophis, was slain. The world was saved yet at the same time scarred. The Sun God still lay in pieces, leaving the world with no light. With no light, the mortals would wain in strength and number. With no mortals, the Gods would wither as well. Laab'as' cult of magic would never come to fruition. Other Gods had taken to trying to alleviate the suffering of the Mortal World, and Laab'as would join them, indirectly. While others worked in loud, obvious ways, these attempts were also frought with the possibility that they could fail just as dramatically as they appeared. The flow of magic could be directed in these dramatic ways, yes, but to do so was to invite risk, risk that was unnecessary. A subtler technique would be needed, one that the mortals themselves could perform. Dependency invited complacency. Complacency invited stagnation. Stagnation would then, in turn, result in degradation. Laaba'as would not have that, backsliding and losing what was known - the mere idea infuriated the God of Mortal Magic.

So, they decided upon a plan. A simple one and something they had planned on doing, one way or another, before he ascended and Apophis descended. The production of light via a magical ward was something known to Laaba'as, something originally dreamed up for the underground dwelling Dwarves that they planned on eventually recruiting into the wider cult. But now, the very foundations of the cult, and the greater expansion of knowledge that would follow it. The process of making the ward was simple, a few careful chanted words and a simple hand gesture, something any magic user could do, if they knew the words and gesture. Laaba'as would teach his followers these words, and give them the instructions to spread knowledge of both the ward and of the God who invented it. The latter instruction was, in the greater scheme of things, rather self serving, but in these times one needed every advantage they could have.

Laab'as descended from Mount Atherius, returning both to the Elf village that was ground zero for his cult and to his mortal form. He saw the despondency upon both his followers' and the others' faces. Light would do more than grow their crops, it would lift their spirits. So, when a decent crowd had gathered, they spoke.

"I bring a gift, from both myself and the Gods on Mount Atherius. Elves, you people blessed with magic from birth, can bring light back into the world! Produced from your own hands!"
Laab'as demonstrated the ward to the crowd.
"Come, believers in me and those who doubt, I shall teach you this ward of light. Place it above your crops and they will grow. Place it above yours heads so that you may see. Come and learn from a God. I have but one request of those of you that take this blessing - spread knowledge of it and me, Laab'as, as far as you can travel. Knowledge is useless unless spread!"

Actions: Descend to the village where their followers are and instruct them on how to make the Ward of Light, requesting that they spread knowledge of the ward and Laab'as far and wide.

Ivdar felt something wasn’t right... he knew something was off. But usually when something weird happened he could tell. If this was an illusion, Vaedra was more powerful than he had thought. He didn’t see through any illusions though, so he kept his guard up and tried to scan for more illusions, although he accepted that this was real since he couldn’t prove it wasn’t.

He paused for a moment, wondering what to do.

“I want to help you raise the Titans,” he told Vaedra. “I have some ideas on how to do that.”

He was the god of light in a world without light. He walked through craters caused by Apophis's rampage. He saw humans scurrying without light to light the way. He was not sure how he could help...But first he needed worshippers. Humans would surely fall over themselves to worship him in a world without a sun. He looked around.
ACTION: Find a human settlement.

Crexus, God of Madness

A ripple was felt in the Mad God's chest. As if a hand of authority had given him a shove. It was a feeling that the mad lord would recognize almost immediately. The cause of Crexus' sudden influx of power had fallen through the efforts of the gods, yet, the world remained dark. As mad as he may be, the turn of events proved offputting to the Mad Lord. Time to plant the seeds of his deranged conspiracies was coming to an end, before inevitably, the light would come again. Though his gifts of madness were in the process of being spread by those already broken by the horrors of Cal Morhen, a second, significantly more powerful entity awaited him while darkness still threatened to smother the world, and those that inhabited it.

While the Gods tarried on with their bargains and petty dealings with dwarf-kind for their own mystic dealings, the Lord of Madness instead saw a game, a playful dynamic between Aetherian and Dwarven alike. Khag Maldir, capital city of the Dwarves where they toiled amongst themselves with feigned imaginations of power through their thrones and crowns. Rather than play into the dwarven games of mercantilism as the gods previous to him had, Crexus instead sought to bend their norms and rules to his own design.

The threat of the unknown, the expanse of darkness that coated the world. That is what the god carried with himself to the architectural feat of Khag Maldir, mightiest of the dwarven holds and home of their overlord. King Greybeard. One might suspect a being with greyed hair would be quite aged already, the Mad God's chuckles at the thought of yet another tool against the dwarves had reached the great doors of their hold before he himself had arrived.

His shrill laughter could be heard in a near constant echo throughout the carved halls of their mountainous city when the mad lord revealed himself in the open air outside of their ancient stronghold. Through the ever-encompassing darkness, the naked eye could make out his form. Crexus wore his newfound power, gained through the fright that choked the world, proudly on his sleeves. A boundless mass of tendrils that shrouded his restrained form each writhed with a wicked mind of their own. It was clear with a single glance, that this god carried no charity with it towards the kingdom. Not a single notion of intent to take part in the games of their bargaining.

The Mad God came knocking on the doors of their fortress city with one intent. To have his way with the brilliant minds of the dwarves. Through whatever means possible.

A brutal maddening barrage followed the lord's first knock upon their mighty doors. The corrupt cackles of his laughter, laughter that had outright killed lesser men, bounced off of the stone walls of their corridors, seeming only to multiply off of each other as time went on. His crooked tendrils that sought to feed off of the very sanity of mortal races snaked along the edges of the doors, doing whatever possible to squeeze past the mighty blockade, all the while the veiled face of the Lord of Madness struck against the door between his booming chants and taunts.

"YOU ARE NOT SAFE! DARKNESS HAS TAKEN THIS WORLD AND YOURS WILL FOLLOW SUIT IF YOU DO NOT OBEY! I AND ALONE WILL PROTECT YOU! OPEN YOUR MINDS TO ME, SO THAT YOU MAY LEARN MY PRECIOUS WISDOM, MANLETS! AWAKEN TO MY CALL, OR THE DARKNESS WILL GNASH YOUR BRITTLE BONES! OPEN YOUR MINDS!"

Action: Siege Khag Maldir with madness, threats, and fear to break the minds of the inhabitants and their king.

Vaedra raised an eyebrow. "You wish to betray King Kona? My how the tide as turn, very well you shall be the catalyst that will lead to the end of the Aetherians, take my artifact the hydria illusio and steal the fires of Mount Aetherius and replace them with the illusionary fires hidden in the jar. Return to me with the real fires proving your loyalty and our alliance of darkness shall be born".

Vaedra grew impatient with Valaxis he asked too many questions. She could've simply sent a minion to Mount Aetherius to steal the fires, but having a deity on her side could prove beneficial down the road. She had prepared for this, in the event that a deity would be too indecisive to take action but she decided to give Idvar a chance where Valaxis had failed.

"Do not hesitate, return and I will answer any questions that you have, go now for sun shall be reborn soon and Kona will be able to see everything once more. "

Ivdar said nothing as he took the jar and ran off. He opened a portal and went back to Terra where opened the jar. There was a fake flame inside, but it seemed very real. The fake flame still radiated heat and would probably burn someone if they touched it. Instead of opening a portal, which probably would’ve alerted Kona or the other Atherians, Ivdar climbed up Mount Atherius. When he got about halfway up the steps he decided to fly up to the top of the mountain near the Atherian Pantheon. He snuck around the Pantheon, hoping he would not alert Kona. If any of the 12 Atherians woke up, the plan would be foiled.

He saw the Divine Fire and stared at it for a few minutes. It was amazing. Then he took the fire and quickly replaced it with the illusionary fire, and he couldn’t even tell the difference. The illusion was realistic enough but he wondered if Kona would see through it. He took the fire and put it into the jar.

Action: Accept Vaedra’s quest

World of Terra

Image

The world of Terra spun onwards through the waves of creation, beating heart of Mundara. Through it, all darkness reigned on the planet, human civilization collapsing and people returning to nomadic living scavenging the ruins of the world for what little sustenance they could find. The Elves with their unique magic would manage to survive. An esoteric sect of elves known as the Chorus would sing and use their magic to create trees of light and send their seeds throughout the world. This would stem the tide of darkness until the Sun could be reborn. Life would thrive around these trees, and humans would use these beacons as wayward points as they wandered the endless dark of the world.

The Dwarven Empire continued fighting against the Daemonic horde in the south. Their efforts where valorous though the gods kept intervening in their affairs, the Dwarves still managed to hold off the relentless assault of the scourge even with the darkness that shrouds the world. Still, the Daemonic Overlord would be victorious in his conquest of Hagh Thorram with the Black Sun increasing its strength and crushing the Dwarven resistance. Now only two citadels remained stalwart against the Daemonic menace and the Dwarven Empire would buckle under the immense weight of the dark abyss.

Valaxis

"You have been indecisive Valaxis I have already found someone better suited for the quest, thus I have no need for you." Dark serpents would emerge from the shadows once more and wrap around Valaxis biting him and sending him into a coma. "Do not tell anyone of our meeting or grave and terrible consequences will be had I have marked you and will be watching you... " Valaxis eyesight would fade as Lady Vaedra towered over him he would awaken in the same location he had been before he traveled to the Shadow Realms.

Comonos

Across the world the few city-states that humans had built where abandoned. Husks of their former selves, thriving centers of trade and life now empty the ghosts of a previous and brighter era echoing through the now-dead streets, and buildings. Fields and houses had fallen to ruin, reclaimed by the forces of nature. Comono's knew that tens of thousands of humans had died due to the lack of sunlight, but some had managed to eke out an existence nomadic clans wandering the abyss...

Khal'Haldan

King Kona looked at Khal'haldan. It seemed that Kona was thinking rather to accept or deny Khal'haldans request. The Fates would rule in Khal'haldans favor, and King Kona would accept him. "Voriss as fallen and you have proven your place in your role in fighting Apophis take his throne and you shall rise and become an Aetherian". With that Khal'haldan would soon gain unimaginable power, and would rise and take his place amongst the Aetherians

++Divine Power.

Crryus

Darkness reigned in the world. Crryus would try to create her rainbow, but none could see it as the dark clouds covered the entire sky mortals would not gain hope as she wished.

Armonk

Armonk would fail in his quest to create a tower of light. He could not muster the divine energy to light up the beacon. Any light he did create was swept away by the wind consumed by the darkness. His followers left him, as the food stores were depleted at this point and would instead gain sustenance at a nearby tree of light that could support them until the sun returned.

Vuthar

The Lord of Ice would succeed in healing his wounds, he was now as strong as he was before he fought Apophis.

Laab'as

The Lord of Magic would succeed greatly. The Elves had tried to perfect the Eilianu or trees of light as it was called. They struggled to control the flow of arcana and stabilize the light they sought to create. With the ward that Laab'as taught them, they could now create the trees of light and spread their seeds across the world. Thus Laab'as was hailed as a hero to the Elves and savior of their civilization worship of him would spread across the Kingdom. Laab'as power would rise as he took a chief position in the new Elven pantheon. Other deities would have difficulty gaining influence with the elves from this point onwards.

++ Presence with Elven Nation.

Idvar

Idvar as Lord of Illusion would succeed in sneaking into the palace of Mount Aetherius. King Kona would not notice his presence and he easily entered the great chamber that held the Fires of Aetherius. The most beautiful fires ever created the fires where every color in the spectrum and more vibrant colors that only deities could perceive, Idvar felt an immense amount of power and life stemming from these flames. Two golden dragons guarded the fires, he failed in not awakening them but succeeded at remaining unseen, if the Fates remained on his side he may succeed in his quest...

Qyuenyan

There were no human settlements, humans where wanderers scavenging the lands of darkness for what little sustenance they could find.

Crexus

Crexus would find the Dwarven citadel. The Dwarves had grown tired of the gods constantly intervening with them and planned for yet another unwanted visit from a deity. "Come Lord of Madness enter the halls of our great citadel, and we will welcome ye!" The Dwarves said to the Lord of Madness. The doors of the great Citadel opened but no one greeted him. They encouraged him to enter with haste to the halls of the magnificent polis...

Cool, there's a light tree. That crap is likely going to have some form of magical-power-stuffs that sustains it. Well, the RNG gods failed me. I might as well follow my followers to ze tree. What I'll do there? Hell if I know, but something will come up. This site offers a great place to evolve human civilization. Hell, this tree is the only place that has light unlike the sky, which is just bloody pitch black. The RNG gods can't possibly fail me now.

Action : Follow my followers to the tree.

Ivdar sat down on the edge of Mount Atherius and looked down at Terra. The poor mortal inhabitants had to live in the world, which was full of darkness. All organized civilization was wiped out, and Ivdar felt bad he didn’t even show up to stop Apophis from doing this. Then he walked down the steps of Mount Atherius until he was out of sight and opened a portal, walking into the shadowlands.

“Vaedra, I have the flame!”

Ivdar held the jar which contained the fires of Atherius and waited for Vaedra or her minion to come and take the fire.

Action: enter the shadowlands; summon Vaedra

CYRRUS
Goddess of the Clouds & Rainbows

After many hours, this world of darkness was not one to welcome rainbows. Cyrrus sighed and sat on the peak of a small mountain, high enough however that a vast landscape could be seen. Barren lands that were once fields and forests was the only thing that could be seen. Every so often she'd see a nomadic group of humans, wandering the desolate landscape. Poor things, she thought. She was sure that they were sick of Godly intervention by now. She felt bad. The humans could do nothing to prevent the powers of darkness, for doing nothing. Her mind wandered off into some distance lands of her own design, so far away she spaced out, eyes staring deep into the endless dark. Hours passed when she saw a glimmer of light in the distance. In the dark abyss, any light even a tiny shimmer could be seen, but this light was stronger. She wasn't sure whether this was part of her daydream or reality. Even as a god, she had no idea what it could be, but guessed it had to be some kind of magic. Like a lone star in the infinity of space, it almost called out to Cyrrus. She had no other plans for today, or tomorrow, however far away tomorrow may be. So she travelled towards the horizon, towards the beacon of light.

Action - Travel towards the tree of light in the distance.

Mithrata
God of Earth

It was over the battle was over and Apophis lay defeated but it was a hollow feeling for Mithrata, he had failed in his duties to protect the mortals of Terra and the devastation completely obliterated the emerging civilizations of man, the dwarves were reeling back from the continued onslaught of the demon lord and his host, and it only seemed that the elves fared well enough. Looking across the ruined landscape he felt the enormity of his failure fall upon his shoulders, all of this could have been avoided if he had struck earlier or if the rest of the gods had united quicker to strike down such a dangerous foe. The landscape was brutalized by the severity of the battle and many of the mortals were forced to abandon their new ways of life in favor of a return to their old ways of hunting and gathering to survive such a bleak a dark world.

Once more he knew what he had to do, he had to repair Terra once more to make the world whole again for the mortals so that they could begin to thrive once more. He knew the other gods were going to go and begin to repair their own domains, and light would return once more to the world but that was something he could not do so he would have to focus on his own duties. Kneeling to the ground he placed his hand there as well and closed his eyes, he would repair the world once more, heal it of its wounds he had done it before and now he shall do it again.

Mithrata was surprised by such an offer, he had not expected such an offer to be extended to him and the mere prospect of ascending to a throne of an Aetherian both excited and unnerved him. All his fears about his lack of strength and will quickly faded away though, for if King Kona believed he was worthy of being an Aetherian than he will listen and obey his king. His face broke out into a large and happy smile "My king you honor your servant with such an opportunity! Thank you, thank you my king. I accept and I will do everything in my power to continue to serve you and protect creation, I swear this upon my life and nature."

Kal'haldan, Lord of Monsters

The Cloven One ascended to the throne of the Twelve, his body was engulfed in a divine fire and a throne appeared from his very shadow. A chaotic split in reality came from his body, tentacles, bones, claws, eyes and maws have formed into an amorphous blob that crackle with lighting and energy. It was a throne made up of monsters and the very chaotic essence of the Maelstrom but it was tamed for it was Kal'haldan in his truest form.

The faint memories of his progenitor came back to him as the throne's many mouths purred and spoke of pleasing things as they have returned to their ascended state. He believed that with the power of a fully empowered Monster Lord that he can finally unite the monsters in the darkness but something was still amiss in his senses. The Lord of Illusion was missing and not because he was slain by the monster. No, Kal'haldan has his suspicions and he wanted to see if it was indeed true.

He left his throne and explored the great castle built by the Titans, or so he thought, and he came to see the treasure room of the gods. He was allowed access in some manner, some were only for the eyes of the King as they were guarded by the mighty dragons protected the flame of the Atherians, something that he's a part of now.

However, he saw that the very jar room opened and the dragons awakened. It was here that his blood ran cold and his vertical eyes widened.

" You two, mighty dragons of the King! The very flames of Atherius have been stolen!"

Vuthar

"Ah, that is better", he exclaimed as his wounds healed. His wounds could have been much worse if Apophis was not weakened by the god's attacks. Luckily, he only got minor wounds that were easy to heal. He moved towards a higher vantage point and looked over the landscape. How many mortals died with Apophis landed on Terra and what is the state of the survivors? They would rebuild but, at what cost and how long would it take them to rebuild. Until the sun returns, Vuthar think their morale will be low till then. "All of this happened because Murr decided to go into the Maelstrom for whatever the reason and hot himself killed by the Fates. His hands formed into a fist in anger. "What was he doing in there? Vuthar wondered as he continued to survey the darken landscape. He sighed and let go of his anger. Chances are Vuthar would never know why and just hopes that this will not happen again. Who knows what will happen if another Aetherian dies so suddenly.

However, there was work to be done and he should not dwell on that. Terra and its people took a beating, Vuthar would try to help the survivors any way that he can and he remembered the problem that the dwarfs had with demons. Before he planned on an exchange between the dwarfs and him for an item that he wanted and he would give them help against the demons. After all that has happened..... he feels that the item could be made later and the dwarfs needed his help now rather than later. So he focused his energies into creating something he had planned to make, the Frostguard.

Action: Create an army of frost-born humanoids.

Comonos
God of the Harvest

Comonos would return to his settlement near the now abandoned Metzli village, watching as his reapers were in the midst of building a wooden fort, even among the darkness. He was highly pleased with their work, seeing that they had made substantial progress being led by the reaper he had designated as their leader. The fortress was coming along swiftly, and could serve as a base of operations not only for Comonos when he was on Terra, but his future creations to come. Originally only creating the reapers in a fit of anger after Kona's interference in his domain, Comonos now realized that the reapers could be so much more than he originally planned. Having witness Apophis come very close to ending the reign of the Atherians over the universe, the god of the harvest knew that these reapers simply would not be strong enough to both protect Terra and his own domain in the event of future attacks or encroachment. Additionally, Comonos had flown over the land, seeing most of the city-states in ruins, human civilization nothing more than a shell of its former self. These creatures needed to prove to the now nomadic humans that Comonos could protect them and restore their old way of life, and possibly intimidate them if they disagreed. As such, the creatures needed to be bigger...much, much bigger, and possess far more powers and capabilities.

Regretfully, Comonos summoned his children to him, explaining that they had served their purpose well, and now they would have a new objective- to be the construction material for a new race of creatures; their spirits would live on in this new race. The reapers obediently laid on the ground as their master quickly got to work gathering the necessary materials. Comonos would scour the land in his great bird form, hunting for prey. Smashing into the animals with his beak at breathtaking speeds and then quickly transporting their corpses back to the wooden fortress, Comonos would ultimately collect the following:

-75 dead aurochs and 75 dead horses; the skins of these animals would help provide protection to the new race, as well as transferring the strength and ferocity of the aurochs alongside the speed and agility of the horses into the new race.

-Comonos used his powers to drill stone from a nearby mountain range, providing further armor and protection.

-Comonos would locate the enchanted rice crop he had created much earlier, and used his powers as the god of the harvest to duplicate it, allowing to serve as a base for the new race and increase the chances of successfully bringing them to life.

-Comonos would collect other, still alive crops from abandoned settlements across the region, as well as huge mounds of dirt that they grew in.

-The 5 reapers were then deconstructed, with Comonos using their materials and life essence to further enhance the ritual.

-Using the dirt he had gathered, Comonos created four massive dirt bases, each measuring about 100 meters in length and in the shape of a human, with two arms, two legs, a torso and a head.

With all his materials now collected, Comonos finally got to work on his creation. Comonos first started with four dirt bases, using the soil the crops had grown in. He then added a layer of the enchanted rice crop, a second layer of dirt, and then a layer of the surviving, normal crop he had gathered. Comonos then added a third layer of dirt, partially taken from the deconstructed reapers, and used the enchanted rice crop and the crops that made up the reapers as the third layer of crop, making sure to pack in everything tightly. Comonos would take the skins from the dead aurochs and horses to create a natural layer of skin for the four creatures, and he also used their entrails to help create organs such as eyes, hearts, brains, etc. The four creatures would be packed in tightly around several layers of skin, and this skin would then be surrounded in a final layer of rock.

With the construction process now completed, Comonos used his scythe to make an incision in his arm, allowing a substantial amount of his golden blood to flow onto the four creatures. He then struck then individually with the blunt end of his scythe, using his might as an Atherian to both bring them to life and endow them with substantial power and intelligence.

Action: Create a race of Giants using the detailed instructions above, starting with just four Giants. Use Comonos's might as an Atherian to grant them substantial power and intelligence.

Hagia
Goddess of Healing and Family

With the dreaded monster dead and the gods apparently leaving to handle the fallout of the world slowly dying from the loss of the sun, Hagia swiftly left Mount Aetherius in the form of a flash of golden light, travelling over the vast plains, rivers, and mountains of Terra, searching it over. She could feel her followers were safe, in a much better position than others, her prophet able to heal others as malnourishment and associated diseases set in, along with their pain. Above the land she flew, not like a new sun, but more a glimmer of light shining from under the clouds, a distant streak across the sky.

Others would need her help this day. Sensing a great need, she plummeted straight down to the ground below, appearing as an old woman, the force from her impact radiating the soft golden light and healing power she had used earlier like a gentle heat wave around her, settling into a hazy aura that danced over her skin. Hm, how strange. She was at the end of a long hall made of stone and metal, but it appeared empty. At the very end she could see . . . was that another god? She did not recognise it, but the air of malice and something even more sinister radiated off of it's form with divine energy. Nothing near the power of an Aetherian, but perhaps a minor god.

Slowly she realised this must be the dwarven citadel, surely. But why was she here? She hadn't thought of the dwarves in positively ages, but this stonework reeked of their designs.

Well, she would likely soon see what was to come.

Action: Go to the citadel of the dwarves to assess what is wrong and possibly help

Rebirth

Image

The great Phoenix would fly high into the heavens from the mother mountains. It spread its wings and soon laid an egg that lit the heavens in a shower of light. The egg was suspended above the world and soon hatched. From it emerged a new deity Aara Phoenix Goddess of the Sun. Her wings spread and the world was bathed in sunlight. Glorius was this day for years the world had known only darkness but finally, the sun had returned to grace Terra in all her magnificence. Now the Phoenix Goddess would fly across the skies of the planet bringing her light for all who yearned for it.

Armonk

Armonk would easily follow his believers to the trees of light. Around the trees was a rich and vibrant ecosystem supporting all sorts of life, and preventing the extinction of species due to the darkness that shrouded the planet. The humans sustained themselves foraging for berries that absorbed the light from the trees and hunting deer that feasted on the grasses nearby. Soon the sun would be reborn lighting the skies, the humans would cheer and cry tears of joy and life would disperse and spread once more reclaiming the barren lands.

Idvar

Fate would be on Idvar's side that fabled day, and he would leave with the Fires of Mount Aetherius undetected! The Lord of Illusions would reach the Shadow Realm with ease, his illusionary powers giving a great advantage in avoiding detection. As he entered the dark reality, the Dark Lady would emerge from the shadows. "Excellent work Lord Idvar I am most impressed, here is the reward for your efforts" She raised her hands and divine energy flowed from her fingertips giving him a gift that would grant a momentary boost in power.

"Now I am certain that you have many questions just as I promised I shall answer them."

One time +3 to RNG rolls. Idvar would find himself weakened, Mithrata had taken his place and his throne ceased to be, he was no longer a Aetherian but a mere minor deity.

-1 Permanent Aetherian Power

Crryus

The Lady of Rainbows would travel to the Trees of Light. She would find an oasis of life a green gemstone on the barren landscape that surrounded the trees. Numerous plants fed off the light given from the trees. Wolly mammoths, aurochs, and all manner of beasts sustained themselves from the life given from the trees. It was a self-sustaining life source in a sea of darkness and chaos. If it weren't for these trees then life would've gone extinct a long time ago consumed by the darkness of the world. She looked up to the heavens and saw the birth of the new Sun Goddess. She would also see her rainbow that she had created earlier this filled mortals around the world with a sense of hope that laid dead during the dark times.

Qyuenyan

Qyuenyan would need to ponder on his strategy and plans if he were to carry out his ambitions

(Make longer more detailed posts)

Mithrata

The God of the Earth got to work repairing the planet from Apophsis's invasion. Undoing the damage to the planet was a most strenuous and difficult task the chaos and destruction Apophis had unleashed would require an enormous amount of divine energy to repair. Fortunately for him, the Fates would smile on Mithrata that day. King Kona would give an offer the Earth Lord could not refuse. To take his place amongst the higher gods. Mithrata would soon transcend to the position of Aetherian. He felt the power coursing through his godly veins and was now far more powerful then he was as a minor deity. He would take Idvars place in the throne room, replacing his throne with his own.

+1 Aetherian Power.

Khal'haldan

The Lord of Monsters could not possibly know that the Fires of Mount Aetherius were fake. The colors, power, and life given from the flames were all too real. The Golden Dragons looked puzzled."My lord no one as stolen the flames, still someone as walked into the chamber, but it appears that the energy as left, we shall alert King Kona immediately." The golden dragons would soon fly off to alert the King that an intruder had breached the defenses of Mount Aetherius.

Vuthar

The Ice Lord would fail in his first attempt. Try as he might the Frostgaurd could not gain the Breath of Life, and soon collapsed in on themselves becoming mere piles of snow and ice. Vuthar would have to ponder on this dilemma if he were to succeed. Was it a lack of inspiration? Or merely bad luck? In any case, he would improve on his former flaws with each failure coming closer and closer in succeeding in his quest.

Comonos

The Lord of the Harvest would succeed perfectly. It seemed that his meticulous planning had paid off and the first four giants would walk the earth after he spilled his divine blood on their bodies and given the Breath of Life. For all his planning he hadn't thought of what genders would they makeup, it appeared that all of the giants would be male and without any females there could be no hope for the survival of their race and they would be doomed to extinction.

(Since you didn't specify their height, these giants will be in similar size to the ones in Skyrim)

Hagia

The Goddess of Healing would emerge from the heavens and land near the great citadel of Khag Maldir mighty polis of the southern lands. She saw Crexus Lord of Madness being told by the Dwarves to enter their stone city, she could tell they where eager, perhaps a bit too eager?

Ivdar felt disoriented. His Atherian power had been stolen from him, taken by the God of the Earth. His tower had probably been taken too, he was unwelcome back in his home on Atherius. When Vaedra gave him her power he felt powerful again, but he could still tell he was weakened and it was temporary. He had no choice now. If he didn’t help Vaedra he would remain a minor god.

“Someone has already stolen my spot on Atherius,” Ivdar muttered. “Well first, can you tell me about your plan? What do you need the fire for?”

Laab'as, The Wheel of Mortal Magic

With the light of the world brilliantly restored, Laab'as felt calmed. They'd worried and spent most of their time before the rebirth of the sun planning to reinforce the web of light-trees that had spread and kept the world from completely falling into barbarism. Luckily their worries were unfounded though the Humans of the world did regress from their high point of civilization into nomadic barbarism. Their cult needed a certain level of sophistication and civilization to be fully worth investing in, otherwise they would simply be handing out blessings to the unworthy - those who could not contributed back to the furthering of both the Cult's and Laab'as' knowledge. They'd also noticed a swelling in their power. The elves had begun to venerate Laab'as as a savior in the dark times following the defeat of Apophis. Initially, this power came in a trickle, but now it was in a torrent. Like they had been in the past, the sudden gain in power disoriented Laab'as, but it was minor compared to the sudden jump in power when becoming an Atherian.

This veneration allowed Laab'as the confidence to go forward with the next phase of his plan for the cult of magic. With the backing of priest and commoner, he would go to the capital of the Elven Kingdom, and make a simple request. The cult needed to be centralized to effectively teach magic to the wider populace and while they'd initially simply blessed those who were worthy, continuing this line of hand-outs was dangerous. If everyone relied on Laab'as for magic teaching, they would become his depedents, not willing to explore the possibilities inherent in magic. His simple request, allow for the building of a center for magical learning, would solve this is one fell swoop. Here he could centralize his cult, teach the most promising, and instruct them to teach others willing to learn. Here Laab'as could oversee the spread of magic through both the Elven Kingdom and eventually the world, once it stabilized and re-civilized.

But first, they needed to seek audience with the ruler of the elves.

Action: Travel to the capital of the Elven Kingdom and seek and audience with the ruler of the Elves.

Comonos
God of the Harvest

Comonos smiled as the giants rose from the ground- as with the first reapers, his meticulous planning had paid off. The giants bowed to their creator, pledging their lives to the god of the harvest. They were quite out of respect for their creator, but Comonos could already tell they were naturally inquisitive as they looked about their surroundings. Comonos knew instantly that this new race had far more potential then the reapers ever would have, being not only far stronger and agile, but far more intelligent; it seemed that Comonos had successfully endowed them with great intellect. They were also much taller, being around 12-15 feet in height, easily dwarfing the tallest of men. Though, despite his planning, the god of the harvest had overlooked one important detail- their gender. All four giants were only males, and without any female companions, the new race would surely be doomed to fade from existence, threatening Comonos's grand plan. As such, he ordered the giants to rise, and gave them their first orders.

"My children, I can already see your potential. Not more than a few minutes into this new world and you already seem prepared to embrace it. Your race will grow strong, and surely dominate all of Terra. You will be granted companions to bear children with in short order, to ensure the survival of your race, but first we must gather more worshipers among the men to our cause. I want you all to continue building upon and expanding this settlement, expanding this small wooden fort into a great stone palace, which will be the center of a new and grand city-state. I will return hopefully with a tribe of nomads at my back, but do not fear- they will be surely shocked at the sight of you, but will be instructed to do no harm."

The giants nodded in obedience and immediately began the task of expanding the wooden fortress. Comonos transformed into his great bird form, gathering more stone, dead carcasses of auroras and horses, some more crops and more mounds of dirt from various abandoned farms, and duplicating more of his special rice crop in preparation to create more giants. Upon transferring the materials back to the settlement, Comonos would fly over the land, trying to locate a nomadic clan in the area, when something spectacular happened. Comonos could sense it- the great darkness that shrouded Terra was finally lifted, and the sun returned. It seemed that no god was ever truly dead, and the sun god Voriss would be reborn in the deity Aara, the new phoenix goddess of the sun. Comonos saw her fly across the sky, bathing Terra in much needed sunlight. Comonos would have to visit the new sun goddess soon, hoping to forge a relationship with her just as he had with Voriss.

As Comonos finally located a nomadic clan of humans, likely migrants from a ruined city-state, he now saw the perfect opportunity now that the sun had returned. Mid-air, Comonos transferred into his human form to avoid scaring the nomads off and to demonstrate his power. Comonos would approach the leaders of the nomadic clan, offering his protection from the growing "madness" spreading across the lands in exchange for their continued worship of them, as well as fruitful hunts and great harvests and a return to their old way of life. To further convince them, Comonos pulled out a small amount of his enchanted rice crop, and used his powers as god of the harvest to instantly duplicate it, proving his power.

Action: Approach a nomadic clan and convince them to worship Comonos and follow him.

What to do now. Well, I guess it's time to get the ball rolling. I gonna teach man to farm. Of course, that's not going to be easy. First, farming as we know today can't be taught right now. The amount of labor and lack of basic tools is lacking to reproduce mass agriculture. For now, very basic horticulture can be used, or other words, digging up some dirt and throwing seeds at the ground. At least that's better then gathering and hunting. Let's hope that the RNG gods don't fail me. All bless the dice.

Action : Teach me followers on how to throw seeds at dirt. (rudimentary horticulture).

Vuthar

"What? Vuthar said in disbelief as his would-be warriors collapsed on themselves. He failed to create the Frostguard and was amazed that he had failed. Vuthar had created beings before with little difficulty, maybe he was still weak or perhaps he should create his Frostguard someplace else. Where Vuthar would be stronger and with that train of thought. He departed and flew to his northern home in the north pole. Landing just outside of his castle and cleared his mind. He focused himself and stood completely still. He imagined what form Frostguard would take. The dwarfs needed help from the demons and whos knows what will happen to them if they do not get help. This is why the Frostguard is needed and with a final deep breath, he focused his energy on creating his army.

Action: Try again to create an army of frost-born humanoids.
