Hyztlet was very happy that it seemed working, though, it would be a long process, he gathered much of his strength and decided to work on the physique of the dragonflies, it needed to be more humanoid "May two of your legs become your arms, may your claws become hands, let your wings grow and may you stand upright, let your tail be shorter, and rise"

Action: continue the work on the Dragonflies

Valaxis

The Lord of Pestilence had stared upon his new prophet, smirking at him.

"Ahh, my child. Take this book and rule the men of the Earth. You shall be my prophet, the holy saint. The king of all men for as long as you bear my standard. I shall give you 50 years more of life, and you shall do my bidding for those 50 years."

"Yes...my King."

"Good. Now you shall be a saint."

Valaxis nodded at Ruthalez, and Ruthalez began to walk down from the mountain, descending upon two villages split by a river, dividing them by East and West. Ruthalez decided to turn west, seeing if he could preach the Lord to them first. Ruthalez had decided to talk to a random bypasser, to see if he could find the village chief.

"He's in the large hut, with the torch above it and a cross marking it."

"Thank you."

Ruthalez had made his way to the chief's hut, attempting to enter.

"Who are you?"

"Ruthalez, servant of the Lord."

"Which one?"

"Valaxis."

"It's been a while since we've had a religious nutjob."

"I am no nutjob. I am a man with power."

"Well, what are your powers?"

"The ability to kill large amounts of people in one location."

"Yeah, we don't want to see that. Just get in there, you lunatic."

Ruthalez was allowed into the hut, kneeling before the village chieftain.

"They tell me you are a religious man. Why should I believe in your god and not the million others?"

"Point at your enemies and I shall slaughter them all."

"Your test is as follows: Kill the Easterners with whatever magic you have. Once I see their village dead, I shall accept your god."

"I accept that."

"Then kill them."

Ruthalez was dismissed, as he made his way over to the East. It was going to be quick and painless....at least for him. He focused his magical powers for hours on end, summoning the power of Valaxis to himself. He began to harness the power of disease over time, as his hands became trained in the art of wizardry. His eyes glowed, and so he marched upon the eastern village, with a torch in his hand.

"KNEEL BEFORE THE LORD OR YOU SHALT DIE!"

The eastern chief stepped forward, defiant.

"I shall kneel before no pretender lord. Dispatch of him."

Ruthalez focused his energy, getting prepared, as he began to release a bout of diseased air which infected all nearby, giving them a manner of diseases, with everything from cholera to flesh-eating bacteria and the bubonic plague. He had been cautious to ensure that the air nor the disease did not spread to the western village, ensuring that they would become allies. He began to wait for the effects of the spell to take effect, as he took refuge in the woods nearby.

Valaxis, meanwhile, was plotting something a lot more sinister. Something that would change the entire fate of all mortals and gods. He called a Congress of all non-Atherian Gods that considered themselves to be in some way malicious to the mortals. He had made his intentions clear: to form a new pantheon.

Valaxis Action: Call a Congress of non-Atherian Dark Gods.
Ruthalez Action: Kill the eastern village with disease.

Kal'Haldan, Lord of Monsters

Visiting the mining town shared his fair share of onlookers as much as he looked at them. It was a neighboring mining town by the one his worshipers were in but he also saw that they pulled copper from the mines. He went to the village elder and told them that he was a god looking to help the people against the monster threat in the mountains. The village elder was relieved but they haven't had much trouble but had seen monsters coming closer and attacking traders on the roads.

One specific monster comes to mind when the elder was talking to the goat was a minotaur by the name of Mass. A strange name but it didn't matter. Kal'haldan notes that the bullman owned the bands around the region and was probably the one who sent the band at the first village he came to defend. As Lord of Monsters, it would be his first goal to help bring the monsters in tow and get the villagers to worship him.

But first, something didn't feel right, something strange was felt in his blood and it was time for him to see what it was. It called to him to leave the village and climb the mountain of the gods to their temple. Before he did so, he told his people to spread his name and get as many people around the mountains that want to see the monsters gone. He was going to build the souls of humans as something that he could use to unite the horde.

While he gave that command to spread the cult, he made his way up to the mountain and through the halls of the Athenian Gods. He was amazed at the golden sights of the divine halls and he saw the gods themselves.

"My name is Kal'haldan, successor of Murr Quhaldan's mantle as Lord of Monsters. I was just recently made by his sacrifice of the Furies and I... don't know my way around this reality but something in my blood told me to come here."

Action: Kal'haldan's followers try to help Hesperus with whatever they need and preach about the Lord of Monsters goal to protect the mountains from the very beings that plague it.

Laab'as, The Wheel of Mortal Magic

"Thank you, King Kona. I shall not let you, or the worlds, down."

The Rings rotated quicker and quicker as Laab'as swelled with the power of Atherius. The eyes that lay upon the outer ring rolled in all directions, overcome with power. The interior rings continued to rapidly spin, as the core of Laab'as' being shone with a rainbow light upon the council room. Power - they had achieved it. Power - they held it. Power - was it supposed to be so overwhelming? Had all the Gods of Atherius felt this swelling upon their ascension, or was this ecstasy unique and wholly their own?

No matter. Laab'as regained their senses. The rings slowed their rapid rotation as the God reasserted their control over them. The eyes, spinning out of control, refocused. The empty throne, the twelfth seat of Atherius, called out to them. They would fill it.

Levitating slowly at first, then approaching rapidly, the new Atherian filled the empty seat. It was quite an awkward fit, for the rest of the Gods assumed at least somewhat humanoid forms while in the heavens, but the new Atherian would make do. For now, their curiosity reasserted itself, and Laab'as began to ponder the higher forms of magic they could access now, and the new blessings they could bestow. From this lofty post, they could see the mundane world was very much mundane. An unacceptable amount of the world remained ignorant of magic! They would fix this in time, but for now they celebrated internally.

Action: Assume the vacant seat, becoming an Atherian.

Mithrata, God of Earth
The crumbling and reforming of stone had become the normal sounds to Mithrata as he continued his work to repair the world from its numerous geological disasters created during the Third Divine War. It was a long and tedious job even for the god of earth but it was something that had to be done and he more than had the patience for it, the few benefits of being unable to speak or move for most of his life. While difficult it was nearly completed and he would have to find something else to do afterwards. Everything had been rather quiet ever since the last war and for Mithrata that was excellent for he did not like all the devastation, and the mere thought of seeing the mortal races suffering through such an event filled his heart with sadness. With a deep breath he took a break from his work and cast his eyes up to the realms of the mortals and the rest of creation, what he saw surprised him slightly, he knew there was a lot of movement but with his attention so fixed he did not know the details.

The gods were being their usual selves but one of the Aetherian's had perished in the Maelstorm and King Kona had convened a Council to determine who would inherit his throne. Quickly getting up Mithrata knew he had to go to Mount Atherius quickly, he was summoned by his king, the god who had inadvertently given him the final touch of life. As fast as Mithrata could go the god of earth rushed to Mount Atherius.

Finishing his ascension to the mountain he presented himself before the council. "Many apologies for my tardiness. I had been at work deep below finishing off the repairs and did not fully process what was happening until just now. How may I serve my King and his Council?" Mithrata asked rather eagerly because while he was roughly the same age of most of the other gods his isolation had left him behind in other regards, especially his unique creation. He was always eager to serve King Kona to the best of his abilities.

Thalassus, The Leviathan

Thalassus' coils shuddered, ancient muscles stretching and bones creaking as the Serpent unwound itself, it's tail end on the east coast of the continent and it's body wrapping all the way around to the west coast, remaining in the depths of the ocean as even the continental shelf would collapse under their weight. Notably, coastal villages would see massive waves forming and crashing into the shore, the sheer displacement from the Leviathan causing massive shifts in the ocean. But this did not concern the Abyssal One, other things were on their mind.

They struck an underwater ridge, pulverizing it before stirring up the debris with a breath. A beam of divine energy was emitted, lighting up the deep for miles in all directions as Thalassus attempted to create. This creation would be called The Kraken, a mass of tentacles centered around a gaping maw. It would pull down entire ships, devouring them and their crews whole. During the day, it would disguise itself as an island, it's central body floating on the surface while tentacles lurked beneath. But during the night and storms, it would move, submerging itself and hunting for prey.

Action: Create the Kraken

The Stone Titan and The Herders
Year 10-12, Age of Myth

Staring down to the human-herders, Armonk stands tall in the sunlight. Its eyes were pure-white light - even brighter in the shadow that it created with its massive body. Green moss and vegetation could be seen over Armonk’s body as noticed by the herders, especially on Armonk’s head and shoulders. Armonk reaches down gently with its right hand. Pieces of rock falls off from its movement. The sound produced was loud enough to scare off birds in the near-by area, hordes of birds fleeing in packs. The open palm of Armonk is wide-enough to hold all the herders and their inventory, with extra-space to hold anything else that they wish to bring in.

“Do not be afraid. I come with a humble offer. Come with me and you will be fed and protected from the harsh weather, animals, and sickness. The same can be said your animals. All of you will be accommodated. You do not need to worship me as a God. You may worship anyone that pleases you; if you do worship anything. That is my offer.” Armonk spoke in a very monotone, but calming, voice - not to be convincing as it was Armonk’s normal voice that it spoke with.

Armonk’s body is at a total stand still, with no visible movement to be seen as like a statue. Armonk now awaits an answer as Armonk can not do anything else but wait and listen.

Action : Try to convince the peeps to join his empty settlement.

Vuthar

"Oh, minor god shows up," Vuthar thought and a grin. He believed that no one else was going to come and contest Laab'as ascend to a Atherian. Nice to that Laab'as has some competition, and Vuthar thinks he remembers this one. Mithrata, God of Earth, who would make a better pick? A god of earth or a god of magic. Both could be a useful addition to become a Atherian. Vuthar is leaning towards Mithrata since of his role of repairing the damage to the world from the last war. Not many minor gods would do that, and it is nice to see one take up the task of repairing the world. Mithrata cares about the world and maybe even the mortals that live on it but, for now, Vuthar chooses to be silent. Waiting to see what his fellow Atherians feel that would be a suitable replacement for Murr.

Apophis would soon emerge from the Maws of Maelstrom and flew across the sea of stars to Terra. It's a hunger for chaos and destruction was insatiable and it lashed it's massive tentacles at a planetoid destroying it with horrifying ease. The Dark Lady emerged from the shadows of and shouted into it's ears.

"Beast do not attempt that attack on Terra, there still needs to be a world left to rule for the Titans, otherwise destroy other worlds at your pleasure." The Dark Lady then vanished into the darkness of space.

Apophis shrieked and continued destroying planets and stars in its journey to Terra leaving a trail of destruction in its wake.It would not be long until the monster would arrive at Mount Aetherius

King Kona felt the immense destruction that Apophis had unleashed in it's approach to Terra. "Gods now is not the time for discussion! Now is the time for battle! We are at war with Apophis so do whatever is necessary to ensure our victory! Rather that is fighting the monster, healing the wounded or bolstering the defenses of Terra, the time to act is now!"

With that last line, Kona would magically equip his battle gear, radiant armor and wielding lightning bolts. He summoned a chariot pulled by silver and golden dragons and flew from Mount Aetherius into the depths of space to fight Apophis and slow his march to Terra.

Crexus, God of Madness

Through his veiled mind, interwoven with nonsensical logic and maniacal concepts, the god of broken minds saw the world in ways that other gods may have not been fortunate enough to behold. Where any other saw a settlement polluted with the stench of utter despair, Crexus only saw opportunity. Weakened spirits and hopeless minds were by far the easiest to take advantage over, and here below his sacred feet was a den of those at their absolute weakest. These depraved mortals, abandoned by their gods and finding themselves victims of the great chaos were precisely the crop that the mad god sought after.

A quick glance into the mind of one of the creatures, a male in the midst of mourning over a quite crudely dug gravesite provided a general insight into the location the god had happened upon. Cal Morhen. A town truly riddled with the greatest sufferings humanity had to offer. These people, vulnerable and shattered were worshippers of Crexus, whether they knew it or not yet. It would just take the slightest convincing to lead them to realize that.

Although mad, the god was certainly no fool. This settlement, and the bandits that circled it like vultures over a dying beast were both susceptible of falling into his dark grasps. In the village itself, it's inhabitants had been pushed to the brink of survival, with signs of their incoming doom all around; a mad god could not even ask for a better quarry. All that was left now was to totally break the minds of the inhabitants, before revealing himself in true form to those enlightened in his gift.

The people were starving. With their crops nearly non-existent they would have no choice but to search for other methods if they wished to survive.

Fortunately, meat had just become very plentiful for the villagers. The Mad God casted out his will into the minds of those inhabiting the town in a minor way. All it would take is a nudge in the right direction to rot the last of the sanity from their mortal skulls.

Action: Convince the starving populace to cook and eat their dead.

Mithrata, God of Earth
Everything began to move quicker now as Apophis' destruction vibrated throughout creation and Mithrata flinched slightly as among the gods he was the one who felt the destruction of the planetoid the most for it still rested within his domain. That power he felt which just obliterated such a large piece of earth he had not felt truly before, perhaps briefly in the Third Divine War and now he had to prepare for combat once more, combat that he was going to win. For one he will not let such raw destructive power threaten the lives of the mortal races that now call Terra their home and two he literally almost got finished fixing all of this and he wasn't to keen on letting it get destroyed so quickly. Jumping to action immediately Mithrata materialized his armor, his great shield which also held a quiver for his many javelins, and spear something he had not done for a long time. The feeling of the extra weight reminded the god of earth of his first days of true life, and the great war he threw himself into and now once more will he fulfill his role as god of earth and fulfill his oath to the King.

Walking to the edge of Mount Aetherius he extended his arms of war over the world and he closed his eyes. He was the god of earth, he was its protector, its caretaker, its guardian, and none shall wreak havoc upon it anymore. Then his mind shifted to what he would do, he needed to reinforce the defenses of Terra and he would do just that. Raising his arms up he willed the creation of several asteroids, these would be used as projectiles against the beast, he knew much more was needed but this would be a good start.

Action: Create asteroids and keep them suspended within the gravity well of Terra to be used as a weapon against Apophis

CYRRUS
Goddess of the Clouds & Rainbows

Cyrrus left the springs, refreshed and energised. She flew into the skies, looping in circles and painting streaks of clouds across the skies. She leaped from cumulus to nimbus, painting the nature spirits she saw in the skies, and the springs. Swirling her fingers, dancing across the heavens, the paintings moved as if they were real. And yet, like dreams, they faded as soon as they were painted, dissipating in the harsh winter blizzards. She waltzed with winds and pirouetted in the sunbeams, for a moment forgetting the call to Mount Aetherius. Not that she'd be interested in any position of power, let alone a council of the gods. She'd rather fly free than be restricted by the responsibilities. So she continued to travel, however this time turning south, towards the oceans.

Action - Travel south towards the oceans.

Ivdar felt Mount Atherius shake and flew at Apophis in space. Ivdar looked at the beast, but instead of attempting to fight it, he smiled, quietly descending back to a field in Terra. On his makeshift throne he formed, he called upon his servant, the High Priest of Illusion. He still hadn’t put on his battle armor, but that was part of his grand plan. An illusionist always had tricks up their sleeve.

“Welcome back to Terra, Lord of Illusions. What brings you here?” The Priest was human, but was skilled in the art of illusion. He was nervous in Ivdar’s presence, and was slightly uncomfortable.

“I have an illusion planned,” he stated, his voice echoing through the field for effect. “I will make an illusion of myself in my battle armor trying to fight Apophis and dying. It will be so grand, even Kona and the Atherians will be fooled,” he continued, tapping his arm on the armrest on his throne. “Then, I need you to maintain the illusion, making me unable to be seen by Kona. Just hide my godly signature. I will descend into the Shadowlands, and speak with the Titans. I have unfinished business to settle.”

The Priest’s voice was tremulous, but he answered Ivdar.

“Lord Ivdar, I must warn against that. In the shadowlands, you will be outnumbered by the titans.”

“Enough! Can you perform the illusion or not?”

“Yes, I can.” The Priest used the power Ivdar had lender him.

Ivdar watched as the Priest made him invisible to the other gods. There was no turning back now, no gods could find him unless he used a tremendous amount of godly power.

“It is done, my lord.”

Ivdar then turned to the north and thanked the Priest before leaving the field. He looked at the sky and used his godly vision to watch the fight from afar. He controlled the illusion, making it as real as possible. In the illusion, Ivdar ascended to space and his armor appeared around him, and Ivdar charged at the beast, before the beast knocked off Ivdar’s armor and choked him in front of the other Atherians. It looked so believable, even Ivdar couldn’t see through his own illusion. Whether Kona could see through it though, was a different matter.

Vuthar

Vuthar felt the mighty chaos caused by Apophis and quickly stood up from his throne. "How did that thing get out of its cell? He thought as his armor formed on him. His warhammer appearing in his right hand and he gave it a couple of practice swings. Apophis, he remembers how many times he and the rest of the Atherians fared against it. This will not be a easy fight but, this one the Atherians will win, They have to win or everything that they worked towards will be lost. Vuthar flew into space and alongside Kona and his chariot. "Let's end this thing my fellow gods! He bellowed and flew at Apophis. Managing to land a strike on one of its arms. Frost started to spread on arm. Hopefully, this will freeze it enough where it can break off and make this fight easier.

Action: Attack Apophis and attempt to freeze an arm solid.

War in Heaven

The Great War in Heaven had begun. The King of the Gods rode on his chariot hurtling through the inky blackness of space like a fiery comet, across the sea of stars. Apophis moved liked a massive storm lightning lashing out in all directions clouds surrounding his being. Mighty King Kona threw a lightning bolt at the beast and the entire cosmos was lit in a flash of light and energy. The beast shrieked in agony but continued moving onwards though a bit slowed down for now. Kona would continue to throw lightning bolts at the monster in a bid to slow the beasts march to Terra. The fate of the universe and of Mount Aetherius hanged in the balance...

Hyztlet

Creating sentient lifeforms was no easy task even for a god. Hyztlet would need "Aspects" if he were to succeed or else his dragonflies would not be as clever as the other sentients that called Terra home.

Valaxis

Ruthalez concentrated the power granted to him by Valaxis. The disease curse would soon spread across the eastern village, the men convulsed and writhed in agony screaming as the horrible diseases utterly destroyed their bodies. The entire village would die, with a few survivors fleeing across the land. Soon the prophet would stand amongst dead corpses, vultures soaring in the skies above, and worms and scavengers devouring the flesh of the dead bodies. Ruthalez's disease would spread and the people would grow to hate him for his deeds. The western chief would raise a host of tribal warriors and march the lands seeking the prophet to kill him.

As for Valaxis's action, a dark hooded figure would emerge from the mists and approach him. "Come to the Shadow Realm, the Dark Lady wishes to speak with ye.".

Kal'haldan

The villagers would have odd jobs for the followers of Kal'haldan, build and repair houses, mining the copper in the mountains, picking the crops in the fields, but nothing extraordinary yet. Kal'haldan would reach the heights of mighty Mount Aetherius. King Kona would greet the Lord of Monsters "Welcome Kal'haldan, unfortunately, Laab'as as taken Murr's seat, but you are welcome to fight for Aetherius, I will greatly reward those who aid us in battle...

Laab'as

The God of Magic would soon transcend to new heights. No longer a mere minor deity Laab'as was now amongst the higher gods in their court, within the ranks of mighty Mount Aetherius. His power now far exceeded that of the minor deities, and his wisdom and insights greater as well. As a member of the main pantheon, his name would soon gain the recognition and fame that the other Aetherians enjoyed. Such power was rare to gain, and with it, many doors had swung open. What would Laab'as accomplish with his new abilities?

++ Permanent Divine Power

Mithrata

The God of Earth would soon create asteroids from the minerals of Terra. The earth and minerals gathered from various points across Terra numerous rocks of various sizes. These rocks were soon launched in orbit around Terra. Such a grand feat indeed that may or may not be useful against the terrible beast known as Apophis. Only time would tell if Mithrata's effort would bear fruit.

++ Asteroids in orbit around Terra

Thalassus

The mighty beast known as the kraken was soon created from the power of Thalassus. Terrible was the monster the size of an island it would now terrorize the seas bringing woe and misfortune to all who encountered it.

Armonk

The aurochs grew frightful and stampeded away from Armonk. The herders would flee in terror as well, believing Armonk to be a monster. Perhaps if he had chosen a more relatable appearance he could've swayed them, but it was too late for that now.

Crexus

The people had at first resisted Crexus's will. Devour the remains of their deceased friends and loved ones? Madness perish the thought! But soon Crexu's own madness dominated their minds and they twitched and writhed as their minds where enslaved and infected against their will. They soon merrily dug the graves of the fallen singing songs of maddness and devoured the rotted flesh and bones of their dead. Terrible was the taste of the dead but they cared not, happily eating till their stomachs where full. Many would perish themselves...

Crryus

Crryus would soon travel southward towards the oceans. Soon the winter snows melted and spring would arrive bring her warmth and sunshine to the world. Crryus would reach the western forests, leaves, and flowers budding and sweet aromas of blooms filling the air. Animals had awakened from their slumber and the lands were abuzz with life and activity. She soon reached the seas trees behind her and endless blue waters as far as the eye could see laid before the goddess. She heard the songs of whales and the crashing of waves on the sandy of beaches...

Idvar

It seemed Idvar had suffered a momentary lapse of madness. Though mortals had heard of the Lord of Illusions not many actively worshipped him at least not compared to the other gods who interacted with the mortals more frequently. He had no shrine, temple or High Priest at all so his plans failed completely in that regard. As for faking his death, King Kona saw right through that as well, though suspicious the King would not say or do anything believing that Idvar was simply formulating a strategy.

Vuthar

The mighty God of Ice would strike at Apophis with his hammer freezing it. The beast screamed in agony a shriek that shook all of reality. Its arm would freeze solid and break off shattering into a million peices of frozen blood and flesh. Apophis was weakened but it was as vicious as ever and struck at Vuthar, with blinding speed. One hit would do some serious damage Vuthar would have to avoid being hit in his next attack against the beast.

Thalassus

The Leviathan twitched, sensing Apophis' approach even underneath kilometers upon kilometers of ocean. He was approaching the planet, and this just would not do. The immense serpent began rearing up, coiling it's body on the sea floor for stability, even as the crust creaked in protest. Their head and neck soon broke the surface, towering up to just below the clouds as divine senses guided their blind gaze towards Apophis. Then, it started. On the opposite end of the planet, the end of their tail began crackling with divine energy, an aura of lightning that began travelling across the entire length of the Decayed One's body, reaching up to their head in a frightening halo. Then, starting at the tail once more, it began compressing, surging across Thalassus' coils and culminating into a sphere in front of their maw. The rotted jaw opened, unhinging and letting out a surge of rancid air before a column of inky black smoke shot out, making contact with the ball and turning into a wide flare of energy. The column narrowed, becoming more and more concentrated until the resulting plume was instead a highly powerful beam, piercing through the heavens towards Apophis himself.

Action: Fire a concentrated beam of Divine Energy at Apophis

Mithrata felt it all, he felt ever speck of rock and dust form and harden into shape to create his weapons, his means to defend Terra and the mortals from the destruction of Apophis. More needed to be done though, the lightning bolts of King Kona were only barely slowly down the beast and he knew that these asteroids by themselves would barely make a dent, he needed more power and he thinks he knew the god, well now Aetherian for the job. Looking over at Laab'as he called out to his brother-god "Laab'as I ask of you to please lend me some of your power, imbue it within these asteroids so that we may use them against Apophis." Mithrata asked.

He couldn't rely entirely on Laab'as though he had to think, he would probably have to make the asteroids stronger, tightening the molecular bonds would do the trick and after all this he knew where he would strike. The mouth and eyes were vulnerable spots on the beast, that is where he should focus his attacks, especially once the mouth of Apophis opens. Closing his eyes Mithrata continued his plan, he would tighten the molecular bonds of his asteroids and sharpen them, shaping the asteroids into giant bolts.
Action: Tighten the molecular bonds of the asteroids and shape them into giant war bolts to make them more deadly.

Even though all the gods except Kona could see Ivdar was not dead, he didn’t know that, thinking everything had worked. He looked back, but there was no high priest. Maybe it was Vaedra or another Titan fooling him, he thought, but didn’t care much. He opened a portal to the shadowlands and stepped in, wondering what he would see on the other side.

Comonos,
God of the hunt and the harvest

Something was wrong...terribly, terribly, wrong.

Comonos had been absorbed in his reaper project, not yet attending the council of the gods, despite Kona's obvious disapproval (as the skies above his head rumbled with lightning). Comonos rolled his eyes, honestly not really caring who was going to be the next Atherian- Kona would probably just overrule everybody anyway. Comonos was working with the five reapers, discovering that he was quickly creating sort of a father-son relationship with all of them. Comonos viewed them as his children, his own flesh and blood- it was the most emotional relationship the god had had in millennia. The reapers seemed to be quickly absorbing his knowledge, as he taught them how to craft weapons, fight, farm, and perform their expected duties. Comonos was having the reapers construct a wooden fort when suddenly Comonos felt...sick, as the mortals would call it. He could feel a pounding in his chest...something massive and horrifically powerful was coming towards Terra. The answer was obvious to Comonos- Murr Quhalden's death had triggered an unprecedented event in the Malestrom- that's where Comonos could feel it coming from. Comonos used his powers to investigate further, and immediately saw it in a vision- the last terrifying spawn of Comonos's aunt Malacar was coming for them all, to avenge the Titans, having broken out of Oblivion. A chill went down Comonos's spine as the reapers began to look at him, sensing his sudden distress. Even Kona himself had once been defeated by Apophis, and now it was coming to almost certainly destroy Terra and kill the Atherians. Comonos sighed and turned to his reapers, sharing a rare moment of compassion with them.

"Reapers...my children, I must go now. A great and terrible being is coming to do harm to you and all that reside on this world. I may not return, and in that case, I want one of you to continue my legacy, succeeding me in ruling your kind and creating more of your kind. If I do not return, continue your duties in enforcing the harvest and hunt rituals- punish any mortal that dares to defy you." Comonos would make another cut in his left arm with his scythe, allowing his golden blood to flow onto the head of one of the reapers. He then used his powers to enchant the reaper to the point of a demi-god, blessing it with supernatural abilities.

Comonos then flew away at an incredible rate of speed, still in his human form. Entering orbit and eventually far into outer space, Comonos saw the beast from a large distance away as various gods were attacking it, attempting to slow it down; the next War in Heaven had officially begun. Kona was in his chariot, and Comonos saw him strike the beast with a lightning bolt, causing the entirety cosmos to light up brilliantly. Mithrata was launching various asteroids into orbit around Terra, while Thalassus fired a beam of concentrated energy at Apophis. Meanwhile, Vuthar managed to strike Apophis with his hammer, destroying an arm, but was struck directly by the beast. Comonos began moving closer to assist when he suddenly saw Ivdar charge at Apophis, but was grabbed and chocked to death within seconds by the beast. Comonos was in utter shock at the sight of an Atherian being killed so easily and immediately stopped in his tracks, knowing that approaching to close could mean certain death. Comonos flew away at a rapid speed and arrived at an asteroid belt, where he came up with a quick plan. Comonos called upon his might as an Atherian to pull a large asteroid out of its orbit and fully under his control. He then flew the asteroid towards Terra, and took aim right at Apophis's head. Comonos then blasted the asteroid straight at the beast at such a rapid rate of speed that the fabric of space and time would be distorted around the object.

Actions:
-On Terra: Enchant a reaper, turning it into a demi-god.
-In Outer Space: Fire a a very large asteroid straight at Apophis's head, faster than the speed of light

Crexus, God of Madness

Crexus was a father of many mad children now. His cheery masked face gazed over the depraved settlement of Cal Morhen. The seeds of madness were the only crop that grew in their land now. Even rats would learn to fear the humans that acted as savage as they did. The sight of tombstones tossed to the side and instead used as dinner plates was enough to make the god tumble over with laughter, tears dripping down, up, across, and through his mask in impossible movements. As their madness went on, Crexus had begun to reveal himself more and more to the madmen of Cal Morhen. But they were not the only prey he sought.

The bandits of the woods were as depraved as the villagers had been, albeit in a different way. The act of murder weighs on the mind of those who commit those brutal acts. Leaving a window for the mad god to spread his vile corruption. With the clearness of a wicked grin the Mad God rose up, instructing the madmen to heed his word! To hide in their homes, take their feasts indoors where they will not be seen by the cautious eye of a wandering traveler until it is too late! Eat all the fresh meat that dares to come into their settlement, and to cook it well! And of course, beware the bear-man!

With that, the mad god would depart, for now. Traveling inwards down the winding trails through dark and twisted wood on the lookout for the highwaymen, as dangerous as any and more desperate than some. The mad god's twisted chuckles were caught on the very winds between the treetops. If one listened close to a breeze, they might have even heard maddening giggles with it.

Action: Find the bandits that have terrorized the region to plant his seeds of madness.

Laab'as, The Wheel of Mortal Magic

Brought back to reality due to the twin shocks of Apophis' destruction and Mithrata's words, Laab'as quickly assessed the situation. There was a giant monster headed for Terra, though it had been damaged by Vulthar's might hammer and King Kona's thunderous bolts. The God of Earth had brought Asteroids to use as ammunition against the beast, and already some were moving to use then for their intended purpose. These massive rocks would hurt the beast, but it seemed only the elements would prove fatal. The Asteroids were a good base for enchantments as well, and this is how Laab'as would contribute, for now. More information would be needed to kill the horror coming to Terra should this next round of attacks fail, but that bridge would be crossed when the time came.

"Mithrata, you shall have your enchantments. Hopefully, Atherius and Terra will be spared death by our efforts."

Laab'as looked into space, at the orbiting rocks. A good canvas for enchantments. Plenty of them as well. The God of Magic got to work changing the essences of the orbiting rocks. Some would take on the essence of acid, to burn and melt. Some would take the essence of lightning, to strike as King Kona did. Others would be transmuted into pure metal, to bludgeon and slash when thrown.

Action: Enchant some of the Asteroids with elemental abilities (Acid and Lightning) and transmute others into hunks of pure metal.

Vuthar

"Yes, take that you vile beast! Vuthar yelled as he saw Apophis'a arm freeze solid and break apart. It was quite the sight for Vuthar as he never hurt Apophis this badly before. That and he saw Kona's attack. He lanching a massive lighting storm and Apophis shrieked out in pain. It was nice to see the beast weaken though Vuthar's joy turned into sorrow as he saw Apophis's look at him. Then Apophis went to strike him with a blinding fast attack. Vuthar knew that if Apophis manages to hit him it will be hard to recover from and flew back in order to dodge its attack.

Action: Dodge Apophis's attack

Kal'haldan

The monster blood of Kal'haldan was boiling at the very presence of a powerful entity. It was how all monster felt when they can feel the presence of the giant monster that smash through the planetoid. He was told by Kona that he would rewarded for helping him. He took it as a means of showing who is the mightiest monster of them all. Kal'haldan joined the Vuthar by unsheeving Malacar's Sword and charged it with his divine energy and try to aim for one of it's eyes as a means of trying to critically wound it.

On the planet below, the followers of the Monster Lord saw the shatter and knew that he must be fighting, so they've decided to start recruiting for the sake of ensuring people that Kal'haldan's return would come and that the monsters will be conquered by the true Lord of Monsters. They believed that this initiative would be rewarded by their lord's return.

Action: Kal attacks Apophis by trying to carve out one of it's eyes with Malacar's Sword charged with Monster power. His Worshippers try to recruit more followers with a message that he will rid the monster threat off of the mountains.

Mithrata, God of Earth
Mithrata felt the enchantments of Laab'as enter into his asteroids and while he did not know the extent that they truly affected them he knew that it was now time to strike regardless. He nodded his head towards Laab'as in thanks before he returned his attention to his asteroids and the approaching threat of Apophis. Once the asteroids finishing forming into their bolts he would unleash a salvo against Apophis, but only a quarter of what he had just in case things did not pan out well. Striking the body itself would be useless, the beast most likely had incredibly tough skin so the vulnerable parts needed to be focused on, especially the mouth. If he could land one of the more potent asteroids within the mouth and ideally the guts of Apophis it could severely slow or even halt the great destroyer. With a deep breath he lifted his spear up and directed towards the approaching monstrous figure of Apophis and willed the completed asteroids hurtling towards the eyes and mouth of Apophis.

Action: Launch a quarter of the completed asteroids hurtling towards Apophis' vulnerable spots, the eyes and mouth.
