You could use a rally to launch a new policy, or make a fluff piece for your candidate. Interviewing and talking to ordinary people, just some sort of promotion for the name recognition.

You’ll need to win party primaries, keep in mind this isn't a a parliamentary system, and presidential elections are separate from legislative ones

Alexander I wasn't the most liberal ruler so might not be the best choice. I did a search and see that IRL Yabloko did a rally on the street Academician Sakharov Prospekt in 2018. Sakharov was a human rights and disarmament advocate within the Soviet Union so it's a location named after someone like that which would be a good place to have a rally.
