Of course, there are the nanites.... Oh, and guys? If we encounter an enemy in this area, try to get it in here, or away from my mum's house. I mean it. Now, let's get to wherever we're going. Gecko, do you want me to carry you, or Miss Storm? Also, where are we going, exactly? Yes, yes, I know it's a R.A.G.N.A.R.O.K. base, but which city is it closest to?"

James got out of his car, after an hour of searching through Durant and the neighboring area. Having been familiar with superhuman history, he found a patch of scorched trees. He observed the outside, said a quick prayer, pulled out a pocketknife, and ducked inside the structure.

"Twenty miles southwest of here." Gecko Man said to Lee, putting his mask on, sighing as he looked at Ethan. "Being with you does not bring back any happy memories. Sending weaker villains after me, your alliance with the Bronze Boss, my girlfriend's death, the whole incident with the clones. Honestly, I am only helping you and your friends out so that I don't have to fight Shadow Roamer. From what I've heard, he gives Satan the creeps." Gecko Man said to Ethan, remembering the times they fought, including the one fight that resulted in the Scarlet Gecko disintegrating, his ashes spread to the wind.

Suddenly alarms started going off. Well, it was more like a single red flashing light and an alarm clock going off. "Somebody's messing with the trees. Hey, Miss Storm, you did make sure to shut the hatch after you, right?" He thought for a brief moment. "No, you didn't." He switched from Google Maps to what looked to be security camera footage of the burned trees. "Okay, there's a guy with a pocketknife. Honestly, if someone sent him after us, they severely underestimate us." A few moments later the man would see an open hatch, and faintly hear voices coming from it.

Rachel looks over at Ethan with worry, "You alright, Ethan?" She looks back at Shadow Roamer with a death glare before speaking, " If you really think you can kill me then you will fail miserably." Rachel hits Shadow Roamer in the face before he could even have chance to react sending him fly ing through several abandoned buildings. She fly over to Ethan and picks him up then she takes off at 4 times the speed of sound flying northwest.

As he flew by he used his powers to wipe the short term memory of the nearby residents from the incident. It wasn't even a total erasement, it was insanely more sophisticated than that."

"I've felt better..."

Even with his dodging attempt, the sword only had missed by a few inches his organs and had pierced through him...

Agent Vincent Bolander entered as he looked around as he caught sight of Ethan and Shadow Roamer, "Alright the party is over. You know your use of super powers is not permitted. This country signed the Super Humans Limitations Act. I am only here to enforce the law."

Gecko Man said to Lee as he stared at the speedster, angered that the speedster brought politics into the discussion. He then turned his head to Ethan. "You might want to stay here for a while. Once R.A.G.N.A.R.O.K finds out that the house was owned by your secret identity under twenty-four hour surveillance." Gecko Man said to his arch nemesis.

Agent Vincent Bolander entered as he looked around as he caught sight of Ethan and Shadow Roamer, "Alright the party is over. You know your use of super powers is not permitted. This country signed the Super Humans Limitations Act. I am only here to enforce the law."

Agent Beatrice Combs shot the two metahumans, only for them to shimmer as the bullet passed through. "Holographic decoys. Looks like Ethan still has friends in the Supervillain community, even if he is not a member. This is definitely going to Salt Lake. As for the Super Humans Limitation Act, it only bans unnecessary public displays of power. We are merely enforcing the "Crossing The Rubicon" Clause of the SHLA." Agent Beatrice Combs said to her partner as she picked up the cube and pressed a button, causing "Ethan" and "Shadow Roamer" disappearing.

I am going in. Lightning, you know what to do." Gecko Man said to the speedster of the group as he crawled up the walls, the guards noticing a beam of electricity running into the base. Gecko Man knocked them out with the tongue before continuing to head into the control room.

He also reached in the water of the clouds and caused a rainfall over the area, basically clouding the facility away from sight.

Looking down on the facility, Rachel used her weather powers to create a pea soup like fog making it very difficult for any remaining guards to see anything. She then sneaks up behind one of the guards and knock him out with a chop to the neck. She turns to Lightning saying, "Come on, the coast is clear for now." She sneaks into the prison stealthly avoiding any guards before approaching Chernobyl's cell.

"Wait a minute? Where are the- oh no. It's a trap!" Gecko said to the others as the Armored Security Drones jumped out of the walls, turning towards Ethan and powering up their Disintegrators as he attempted to crush them like a Styrofoam cup. Gecko Man, quickly realizing that these are the new and improved versions, quickly disabled the security system before heading to assist Ethan, Rachel, and Lightning in taking out the ASDs, the speedster's lightning dissipating after hitting their armor.

Gecko said to the others as the Armored Security Drones jumped out of the walls, turning towards Ethan and powering up their Disintegrators as he attempted to crush them like a Styrofoam cup. Gecko Man, quickly realizing that these are the new and improved versions, quickly disabled the security system before heading to assist Ethan, Rachel, and Lightning in taking out the ASDs, the speedster's lightning dissipating after hitting their armor.

He rolled his eyes as he froze them in place with many magnetic fields. He then mashed them togheter and blew them into the ground, making a decently-sized explosion…
"It seems not alot can be done against the master of Magnetism.."

Lee had shocked both the power lines that sent power to the base and the electric fence, frying both, and melting some holes in the fence. He knew the base most likely had a backup generator, so that meant most of the important electronics would be online. A fourth of his reserves were gone now, having sent 12.5 million volts to each.

Lee felt the rain come down. Good. That means there will be puddles to utilize. He climbed through one of the holes in the fence.

As soon as his feet were firmly on the ground, Lee slammed the drone into the ground, making it hit the ground at Mach 4.

Ethan dropped to the ground, grabbing the drone in his fall and crashing it into the soil. He then turned to Eclipse, harnessing his magnetism to make the weapons of the fallen soldiers come around him, pointing at the newcommer.
"...Thank you, but if you have any intention of stopping us, leave."

"Oh, there's another person. Thank you. Now, would you mind helping with this blast door?" He swiftly kicked a recuperating guard in the groin, disabling him, while pointing to a sealed entrance.

"Judging by the fact that Ethan destroyed these new and improved Armored Security Drones with his powers, I can assume that the lowest bidder decided to cut corners while building the armor, covering the surface with layers of a non-magnetic alloy thick enough to withstand small arms fire instead of making the entire thing impervious to magnets." Gecko Man said to Lightning while examining the wreckage, noticing armor under the cheap iron under the copper/titanium alloy as the lights in the room dimmed, a figure standing right behind him. "So you refused my offer, only to perform your task for free, Ethan. I cannot deny that it is impressive, but only enough to buy you one hour. Rescue Chernobyl and Iron Tiger by then and I will let you live. Fail and the last thing you will see before you die will be the demise of your friends." Shadow Roamer said to Ethan before disappearing back into the shadows.
