Unless... perhaps he could sway Meikarn into granting him a fight in his apparent last moment? >:3

Uh, the problem is that he can't speak English, or whatever 'English' is actually referred to in the roleplay, so the knight would have to come up with something clever I suppose. I can't make Meikarn do things that he would likely not do, except if it gives us an important change in the plot or if the mechanics demand doing something un-Meikarn-y

Just throw a glove at his face, he should understand the hint if he knows basic chivalry.

Hmm, I'm sure he understands unabashed barbarity, right? Maybe our knightly friend could do something like, say, bite the fingers or part of an arm off one of the poor bastards holding him down while he thrashes around, trying to escape?

I couldn't say much about a man's ability to gnaw a part of someone's arm off, but if that's something you'd like to do, that's fine. I do think that doing something so impulsive would make it so that Meikarn kills him quickly, instead of giving him an opportunity to say last words.
Who knows, maybe he can say something that brings Meikarn to not ending him there and then instead of trying to bite a man's hand off. It's your character though :>

Hmm... so craziness might not lead to such a good reward, but on the other hand, neither of them understand the other's language... hmm. Would there perhaps be a name or some such thing Meikarn would know that the knight could say to convince him to stop?

No, not that I know of. The knight and Meikarn have nothing in common, so he's really left to his own devices and wits to find a way out of this mess. Naturally, every man has flaws. If your main strength is fighting, and you're unable to fight, then you might not have what it takes to charm your way out of a situation, but if, in some way or the other, this knight did have wits, charm, intellect and strength all together, then he should be able to come up with something :/

Hmm... I'm thinking Meikarn might take pause to the mention of the name of my main character's father or something of the sort, since Meikarn and his father both would've been reigning at some point during his reign and likely had some sort of past encounter with him, in that case (I'm basing all this off the biographies we've written for our characters). Maybe that'll get him to consider things differently?

uuuuu… I don't know to be completely honest, didn't think of that. The 'barbarians' only really raid the borderlands, and have never attacked the seat, so I don't know whether the previous lord of the area would be of much importance to Meikarn. He might have forgotten about it, idk, it's all a bit difficult because they speak different languages, but if there were to be some kind of way to say something that Meikarn would understand, it would probably help him one way or the other...
I don't really know. War, death and slaughter is the way of this horrid band of zealots, and I just don't know how that knight would get out of this alive. Maybe he could try to wrestle out a gold coin from one of his pockets and present it to them, hoping that they might be won over by coins? I honestly do not know :/

Hmm... yeah, I'm not too sure, in this case then. Maybe a letter could be found in one of his articles of clothing? Deus-exing that in after the fact would be a bit silly, though.
Actually, what would you say Meikarn's father was like in relation to Caslyvaire? I'm curious since you left the details of his death vague, so maybe he could've died during a raid into my lands and since this minor/semi-minor character of mine was knighted by then, he could've been a witness or directly involved in such an event. If that's the case, maybe him making mention of him would stop this execution.
