I'll give the current vote a bit more time, then we'll hold one about starting setup for kingdoms, with the possible options being:

Lost Crowns:
No starting Kingdoms, all 3 crowns lost, all lords start independent.

The last of the emperors:
1 King (randomly selected from royals), everyone is his subject (except those with rebellious apps), 2 lost crowns.

A Land Divided:
2-3 Kings (randomly selected from royals), lords split evenly (except those with rebellious apps).

I quite like the second one personally, gives of a strong HRE feel

Christ, I realized part of the rules are missing!

Your populations can be given jobs on resource resource locations on the map. They can chop wood from forests, mine stone and iron, 1 per turn. I'll add it now.

Influence mechanics removed. Free wars, new conspiracies.

Also, 3 new traits:
- Paranoid: Assassination and robbery attempts against you have their chance of success halved. Costs +1 coins to travel.
- Conspirator: +1 Deceit per year towards conspiracies.
- Watchful: Allows you to keep an eye on another character as yearly action, gives you a 10% chance each year to reveal conspiracies aimed against them, or conspiracies they themselves are part of, possibly some of the conspirators, there is some chance that you gain evidence of their wrongdoing as well. However, you may also forge evidence or lie about what you learn from your investigations!


Will add the resource mechanics tomorrow, then we should be good to go.

I know this may not sound as feudal but i kind of want to do a sort of oilgarchy/ holy roman free city who's elections are dominated by a single family sort of like the Medici.
