So would this planet be a hostile or non-hostile terrestrial world?

I'd place it as hostile terrestrial. There is an atmosphere, however, it has temperature far below what would be considered comfortable and while it has Nitrogen listed first in its atmo, it also has listed Carbon Monoxide, a gas which is known to be toxic to humans. Sounds hostile to me.

Xathorron - Barren World
Syided - Hostile-Terrestrial
Eletania - Hostile Terrestrial
Zatorus - Gas Giant
Mass relay

Sytau - Hostile Terrestrial
Feros - Near Garden
Orcan - Barren Moon
Vardet - Barren Moon
Sharring - Gas Giant
Quana - Hostile Terrestrial
Logan - Gas Giant

Do you recall whihc of these planets has the Geth on it?
So I don't spend money on putting stuff on it until it's secure.
Edit: Changed the near garden of Syided to hostile-Terrestrial cause apparently Argon can kill.

First off, thank you for reminding me that I need to update the Heretic geth economy.

Second, you don't actually have any scouting in the system they are in just yet. I'll say you have gotten reports of Geth in the Hercules System. Which is quite far from the Perseus Veil. Also I had Eletania listed as a Near-Garden as above certain altitudes the winds keep the toxic lifeforms out of the air. So mountain-top settlements can be created and then robomining/industry can be used below as a normal near-garden world. Or within the mountains themselves.

Alright guys, here is the news of the weekend:

Family is in town, so I won't be doing an update this weekend. Instead, it will be either Tuesday or Wednesday next week to get your posts put up there.

I’ve got most of my gubbins together. Just waiting on posts so I can formalize military deployments.

Turians, Asari, mainly. A bit of Salarians and HSA as well.

Is there an exact weapon quality for advanced weapons?

~25% better than without it. Probably offset by Advanced Armor though.

So if a unit has both of those they'd trounce units without it assuming equal numbers?

If a unit has both of those, in a straight up match: Yes, they'd win I would say 19 times out of 20.

If an infantry with Advanced Armor and High Quality Weapons faced an infantry without either of those and no other upgrades, it would take a miracle for the infantry without to actually win.

In that case could I ask what the difference between the Marine division and the Infantry Divisions are?

To be fair, I inherited those different classifications. I always assumed Marines work better in conjunction with naval assets, say boarding stations or doing orbital insertions as drop troops. I haven't assigned any sort of combat bonuses anywhere for particular troops aside from how expensive each unit is to somewhat equate quality.

Personally I’ve always seen Marines as a hard hitting offensive force that’s meant to quickly eliminate smaller garrisons or if it’s a big garission you use them to create beach head for the Infantry.

Infantry divisions should be used if the ground war will be long and it will come down to attrition. So great for big defensive and offensive campaigns.

Milita should be used either to reinforce the regular army or shield the army .
