Lisa Forss @LisaForssGR As soon as this cabinet was announced, it became clear that the future of our planet isn't its priority. We Greens will fight for the creation of an environment and climate ministry. It's clear now that the NPP and its right-wing coalition have no credibility on climate policy. Austin Miller @AustinMillerMP Why should WE focus on saving the climate? We are a tiny nation. Viktoria Ljungstrand @ViktoriaSLP Less than two days after the formation of their government, the Freedom Union have already admitted they don't give a damn about the environment or LGBT+ rights. New record? RetweetsFavourites 313421 July/6/19 |
Viktoria Ljungstrand @ViktoriaSLP Just for the record, yes, we should care about the climate, and probably more than other nations. Everybody needs to do their part. We can't just expect China or the USA to do something about it, as we can't control them. We must contribute to solving the crisis. It affects all of us. RetweetsFavourites 321421 July/6/19 |

"If you might give me a moment, sir."
Svensson dug through file folders, pulling out the revalent blue folder, and sifted through the paperwork.
"Regarding the identity of the person or persons responsible for the attack, that is yet uncertain. We had detained a suspect, but he had a clear, corroborated alibi, so we were forced to let him go. Fear not, sir, we are still on the lookout, though there seems to be little evidence tieing any one person to the attack.
"Now, regarding increased security. After my announcement, my office did indeed raise security around polling stations. In fact, we more than doubled security in areas near the attack, as well as other large polling places. Of course, if you feel that this amount of security was inadequate during election time, I am certainly more than willing to meet with yourself or your office to hash out a more suitable plan."
Svensson paused. "Is that all I can do for you, sir?"

Oscar Holme @OscarHolmeReal Very happy to be the Minister for Home Affairs in the new government. There is a lot of work to be done in St Hilda, particularly in our agrarian communities that have been previously forgotten! RetweetsFavourites |

James could feel himself getting angry at the police chief.
“I think the security was great,” James answered. “There was little violence, and any violence that had arisen was suppressed in a timely manner. I’m going to meet with some members of parliament in a while week, or perhaps speak in front of the whole chamber,” James said, changing his tone since he was stressed. “I don’t care what it takes, in a week I want the attackers... or some of them. Or ANYONE affiliated with them for god’s sake!” James sighed, calming down. “I’m sorry, it’s just that I’ll look like an idiot if I tell the government and the public that we don’t even have a suspect. If we don’t catch him in a week, we’ve lost him for good. How is it possible that we have an entire capable police force, but no suspect detained?” James had fully calmed down, and spoke calmly since he was not the type of person to yell.

Christofer Öve Larsson @CrLarssonCPC The new proposal of taxation is absolutely against the interests of Saint Hilda! Somebody forgot what we politicians are really doing: we're the voice of the Hildans in the Parliament and not members of a bank! I will never stop to think about my city and about the people of Gårt! Vive Saint Hilda! #taxes #people #sainthilda #cpc #AlwaysGreatTogether RetweetsFavourites 100345 4:09 pm - 6/11/19 |

Juliette Hopp @HoppToIt Anyone else tired of empty rhetoric and platitudes about taxes? Here's some actual facts about @BigMarius's tax bill. 1: If you make less than $15k USD, negative income tax credits will push you above the poverty line. 2: Absentee Property Speculators finally get the opportunity to pay back into our economy. 3: Small businesses have a lower tax rate than in Brazil (and green small businesses have a tax rate lower than the US Federal Rate).
