"We get their votes, they get a spot. Get over your idealistic fantasies. Politics is played out in deals and trades."

I apologise for my indiscretion in using the second person pronoun, however, the meaning of the question was quite clear in that it is a question for the government, whereas Mr Darrow's use was targeted personally."

"Regardless, let us continue the questions for the government. The two major parties in the governing coalition, the National People's Party and the Free People's Party, have some rather contradictory views. For example, the NPP self-describes as conservative, especially on social issues, while the FPP self-describes as Libertarian. How does the governing coalition plan to reconcile this difference?"

"Such services fall under the authority of the Ministries already in place."

"By a common anti-left agenda. While they may be divided by certain matters, the two parties are united in the fact that they have a common enemy."

"I won't listen to a word the vegans have to say," Oscar joked as a passing remark.

"Madame Speaker, I believe the honourable member is using trigger words that generalize the left, which is, to say the least inappropriate behaviour. Furthermore, does the right not agree that equality is important?"

"So the sole agenda of the government is to oppose the left? That is, I must say, not very government-like."

"Madame Speaker, I would like to argue against the statement made by the honourable member as I was not using these words with the intention of antagonising the left"

Seč sighed, his disappointment with the Parliament growing by the second, before he begins to speak, his voice getting louder as his frustrations came to the fore. “What are you, Children?” ”Madam Speaker, Madam Speaker” “While it is all very well that we maintain order and dignity in the Legislature, this is not how it is done! Administrative shenanigans, nitpicking every single thing, the list just goes on! Yes, the Question-And-Answer period is important, but that is no reason to excessively watch others’ pronouns. We are the representatives of the People, and yet all we seem to represent, is a seedy bar! Squabbling, rowdy children, and nothing to show for it!”

“There is political opposition, there is political gridlock, and then there is this!” “This-this is a mockery! A farce beyond comprehension! If one was to condense all the failure in the world, and compare it to this “Parliament”, I do not believe that we would come out on the winning side!”

“Now, if we are done trying to score points, repeat questions, and whatever else you people seem to have come up with, could we please act with a modicum
of dignity?”

“Now. I am going to take my own advice, sit down, and shut up, so that cooler heads may ask questions of actual value, and we get proper answers.”

"Madam Speaker, several members of the opposition have lodged baseless attacks against the new Government in regard to our environmental policy. I reiterate that environmental policy is in the portfolio of the ministries in the present Government. As for environmental policy itself, the Government has agreed to create a green investment bank for sustainable business, and while Government wants to reduce regulations overall, it will not cut regulations that would harm Saint Hilda's natural beauty and environment if they were cut. In regard to global climate change, Saint Hilda is a small island nation. Climate change is something that is largely out of Saint Hilda's own control on the home front other than preparing for its effects. Government plans to reduce overall greenhouse gas emissions at home, but Saint Hilda's emissions are nothing compared to those of major industrialized nations. Government's primary goals in addressing global climate change will be pursued by way of foreign policy, which is the responsibility of the Minister of Foreign Affairs."

"Apologies madame speaker, the question was not directed towards me, but I can clarify that the matter of social welfare has been included under my own portfolio of public services."
