Mister speaker, I wish to inform my colleagues that I have just drafted an amendment on this bill that I hope adequately addresses their concerns.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23

Mr Speaker, I also would like to show my support to this bill. While we are on the topic since this is a constitutional amendment, I am considerned as we have experienced in the past, where bills have been passed, to which they directly violated the constitution. Therefore, I am concerned that future legislation would be able to violate this amendmant, because it is on the basis of 'the understanding of the house', to which members in the future may violate with intent, and might lie in saying they were unaware. It is such shame that we have no accountability.
