We've "merged" with the AAP, in that our parties will have a relationship like Labour-Coop in the UK, where AAP members sit in CPC caucus as representatives of both parties.

Cool! The Greens are probably ok with this big party / group because the environmental policy of the CPC isn't too bad. Since this group would be sort of economically center / center-left I guess it challenges the NPP a little?

Right now we're keeping options open—could potentially work with almost anyone, depending on what kind of agreement was hashed out.

The merger of CPC-AAG builds a relatively strong party on the economic left, though social liberals will need to reach from far-left through center to build a consensus.
