Debating for the PM vote. I apologize but I assumed we would debate a PM pick like most parliamentary countries. It seems odd to not facilitate a debate and just vote on them. If we don’t have a confirmation hearing, we should at least debate it. But I’m sorry for speaking out of order.

In short, Speaker's rules. We want to get this PM vote over as soon aa possible so we can start dealing with real legislation, and plus, parties should have been talking behind the scenes about who to support and who not to, since the Speaker gave a couple of days to sort that out.

Also FYI, in most countries there isn't even a vote of confidence, everything is behind the scenes.

You can, but you need to fill out the application in the OP. There is a list of parties there, too. The "voting thing" is a confidence vote for Prime Minister, for which a coalition of liberals and leftists has put forward Viktoria Ljungstrand (Van Hook Islands).

This is an RP where we pretend to be MPs in the imaginary state of St. Hilda, a former Swedish colony in the Lesser Antilles. We adopted a parliamentary system, which means the legislature chooses the Prime Minister. Two main coalitions formed, a right-leaning one and a left-leaning one (whose candidate for PM is currently being voted on). A complete list of parties is available in the OP. After we elect a PM and form a Government we can begin debating and passing bills, which are proposed here before they go to the Chamber.

Made this mainly out of boredom but doesn't seem like there's been one in a while. Obviously this is membership of all the parties without taking into consideration how many actually turn up to vote. Parties with only one member were counted as independents so as to not clog up the chart with too many different colours.

We have just passed a constitution and are attempting to form the first government.
The left candidate is Viktoria Ljungstrand (Cranlet) whose confidence vote didn't pass last time (by the thinnest margin).

The Right candidate is Carl von Leslie (Vedastia) who will challenge Viktoria in the new vote.

We have an alternative candidate too, Lance Darrow (Rebels and Saints). It isn't known who he'll pull votes from, if any.
