Name: Jim Keller. No Supervillain name yet, but when he gets one, he will be known as "Scatterbrain".

Age: 37

Gender: male

Appearance: (Image)

Bio: Jim Keller grew up the son of an abusive alcoholic father and a mother who enabled that behavior. As such, Jim never had a strong home life and lived more in fear and self-loathing. He didn't really fit in at school, and except for a few times, was rarely even noticed. A few times, various kids stood up for him, helped him, made his life something less awful than it was. But the rest? Jim was just there, never a good student, staying out late and trying to avoid coming home. He dropped out of high school at age 15 and did what he could to survive. Odd jobs here and there, crashing on various people's couches, living in a home that was more of a base of operations for a drug dealer than a home.

Jim took to drinking at a young age, and never really stopped. Alcoholism claimed him just as it had his father. There were times Jim has stolen from people in order to buy the next drink. However, when he drank, Jim thought of himself as becoming more powerful (even though he was physically just the same). What was happening was that his powers were awakening and unlocking. And as this happened, various others around him were affected by Jim's powers. Car accidents were common. People easily got lost, missed appointments, felt miserable and hated themselves. Jim was behind it - and he didn't even realize it to the extent that another might.

During the Durant incident, Jim was at one of the cheaper bars he knew, downing as much hard liquor as he could afford. He was barely conscious of the events happening on the bar news channel. After his fourth shot of whiskey, Jim went out into the street and collapsed. The mayhem that happened after in that area was noticed by the law enforcement and the R.A.G.N.A.R.O.K. forces. However, nothing could be traced to Jim, and so the event was merely reported with little chance of follow-up. Since then, Jim has been living in the deep stages of alcoholism, craving the next drink and not caring about anyone else but him.

Category (Power Level): 5

Powers:
  • Alcohol Empowerment - The higher Jim's BAC level, the more and the stronger his mental powers go. Sober? Jim still has his powers, but at a limited state. (Each other power listed will detail the exact effects when Jim is sober and passed out drunk, understanding that other stages of drunkenness are somewhere in between). But if Jim drinks so much that he passes out and loses consciousness? The city and neighboring communities may be in grave danger.
  • Mess You Up - Jim has the ability to scramble minds. What exactly does this mean? It means that the person who was about to shoot is distracted, and even surprised, to find a gun in his hands. It means that the person giving orders now can only speak in garbled talk. It means that for a person affected, even simple procedures to follow are excruciatingly difficult. It means whoever is affected has a strong sense of vertigo, dizziness and nausea. In short, it's a weapon of an entirely different order.
    - When sober - Jim can only affect one person's mind at a time, but it requires 2 solid minutes of touch. The effects last half a minute.
    - When passed out due to drunkenness - Jim can affect an area of 50 ft. around him. And he will do it unconsciously. The effects last ten minutes. It is not a continuous scrambling of minds, but a one-time act.
  • Mental Rebound - Any psionic / mental actions or attacks against Jim will rebound against the person performing it. A psionic attack against Jim will cause the exact same damage to the attacker. A telepath trying to read Jim's mind will get static. This has no effects against telekinetics lifting Jim or flinging things at him. A purely defensive power. Jim isn't even aware he has it.
  • Shared Misery - Jim's last ability can make others feel what he feels - down to the same drunkenness, rage, and self-loathing he has. This ability operates under the following conditions:
-While sober - Jim can pass on his feelings by touching someone else for about a minute. The effects last about a minute.
-While passed out drunk - Jim passes on his (subconscious) feelings in an area up to 50 ft. around him. The effects last about ten minutes. It is not a continuous projection of feelings, but only a one time act.

Weaknesses: Jim is an alcoholic and is not immune to the effects of his condition. He has no or little combat abilities. He also gets angry and emotional when he is drunk, which is regularly.

Optional!

Likes: If he is sober, and sometimes in his regular drunken state, Jim has a few positive memories from childhood that have basically carried him. He both wants to help kids and detests them at the same time. He does like being right and others acknowledging his ideas as valid and helpful. If drunk, Jim just likes to be left alone.

Dislikes: Authority. People. Being talked down to.

Accepted.

Tag. Thinking of going for a character with electricity powers. Should get a sheet up sometime today, maybe.
I'm an autistic 19 year old who used to read a library's worth of books.

Name: Lee 'Lightning' Smith

Age: 25

Gender: M

Appearance: He's a 6'1" tall white lithe male, with electric blue eyes and blonde, almost yellow, hair. His hands have scars reminiscent of lightning. He normally wears a hooded cloak, sweatpants, and running shoes. He has a kind of baby face that would be more visible if he shaved his trimmed beard and mustache off.

Bio: He was born in Ada, and lived in Antlers, Oklahoma. Not much happened in his life until he was 13, when his parents divorced. This was also the time he discovered he could make sparks between his fingers. He told his mum and sister about it, and they accepted it. When he was 15, he could manage a weak bolt of electricity. Until he was 16, he never willingly shocked anyone. That changed when he got into an argument with one of his friends. They went out during a storm for an unknown reason, and continued arguing. In a heated moment, he made to shock his friend in the leg. At that same moment, lightning struck his shoulder. It coursed through his arm and out his hand, striking his friend's leg. After all this, he never saw his friend again. The guilt drove him to be a superhero. Fast forward to the Durant incident, and he was sitting about two miles away from the battle, watching it with high-end binoculars. When the blast came, he ran as fast as he could away. It wasn't until he saw a bird moving in slow motion did he realize he had super speed. He could feel it using up some electricity. He decided to walk back to his home in Antlers, since he was going just under Mach 4. He laid low from then on, moving from town to town, watching 'nonexistent persons' dissapear from the superhero community. He's gotten fed-up with this, and is ready to strike back. He just needs to find a team with similar goals. Or for a team to find him.

Category (Power Level): 6

Powers:

Human Battery: He can store electricity inside himself. He is able to hold the average electrical amount of a lightning strike before overloading.

Discharge: He can expel electricity by various means. He can send it out in bolts from his hands, send out a shockwave of electricity, and utilize puddles or conductive metals.

Super Speed: The amount of electricity allows him to experience things faster, move faster, and basically do anything faster. He can run at Mach 4, or 1026 meters per second.

Wind Resistance: He has a resistance to high wind speeds up to Mach 4.

Weaknesses:

Overload: If he tries to take in more electricity when he is topped off, he'll pass out, and his hands will release the excess amount, even if it damages them. Hence the scars.

Insulators: He can't really fight against them. He may be able to melt or burn through an inch while keeping it so he can fit through the hole, but it'll take most, if not all, of his electrical reserves.

Empty: Once he runs out of electricity, he's just a normal human with a resistance to Mach 4 winds.

Optional!

Likes: Video games, technology, entertainment, his mum and sister, and freedom.

Dislikes: Rubber, blood, spiders, his dad, boringness, and bugs in general.

Age: 27

Gender: Female

Appearance:

Bio: The offspring of a dark fairy mother from another dimension and a human father from Japan, Nyveen is a sorcerer of dark magic. Nyveen and her parents lived in a small town in Japan, with Nyveen and her mother mostly remaining at home. Once Nyveen was 3 years old, her father wanted her to be able to have a normalish life. So he revealed her to his local community. The response was negative, and the fairies were seen as monsters. Nyveen's family moved to China, attempting to restart. Unfortunately, an accident involving Nyveen's powers (now age 9) resulted in an authorities raiding the house and Nyveen's mother being killed. Nyveen and her father moved to New York City to escape. The father dying from cancer not long after her 19th birthday.

OP - Have a question. Is this all taking place in the same city? (Which would make for better character interactions). If so, are we all in Durant, OK? Thanks.

Well, At the current moment, 2 characters are in Texas, heading to Durant, and one is in Louisiana, heading back to Durant. So yeah, we're all going there.

With my character, having a pretty miserable and hopeless existence, I can't really see him traveling so he'll be in Durant I guess.

Better idea for my character's eventual super name. Instead of being called "Migraine," Jim is going to be called "Scatterbrain.". OP, if you would be aware of that (and if you really want to, you can edit my app that you responded to so it matches what I currently have.)

Got it. I edited my original post to add category 9. So is it accepted?

Also, here's my second one.

Name: Bruce Savage (Alias: Mad Dog)

Age: 40

Gender: Male

Appearance:
https://cdnb.artstation.com/p/assets/images/images/007/106/971/large/jerx-marantz-pitt-wip-4-armor.jpg?1516405674

Bio: Bruce was formerly in the United States military. Rising up the ranks, Bruce was offered an opportunity to participate in an experimental program designed to produce enhanced soldiers. His desire to serve his country led him to accept the offer. The experimentation was actually being done secretly, using a variety of serums and even DNA from other species. The result was more than the scientists bargained for. In addition to making Bruce incredibly powerful, they altered his physical appearance to that of a dog. This unintended physical transformation as well as his increased aggression led the scientists to treat Bruce as a monster. His wife left him and the US government locked him up. He eventually escaped with a vendetta against "normal" humans who he believed had betrayed him. After the Durant incident, he met Nyveen, who shared his distaste for regular people.

Category (Power Level): 9

Powers:
Super Human Strength and Durability
Heightened senses of smell and hearing

He also owns an arsenal of military grade weaponry.

Weaknesses: Sensitivity to really strong smells and sounds

Also, here's my second one.

Name: Bruce Savage (Alias: Mad Dog)

Age: 40

Gender: Male

Appearance:

Accepted

Wait so how much time has passed since the Durant explosion? Some things being posted makes me think it's been a very short time, like less than a day.
