Well, Captain America isn't really entirely balanced as a character in terms of traits, as he's generally a protagonist character and benefits from that from a meta perspective. In an RP setting like this there's no protagonist character who has a ton of strengths to a small number of weaknesses and can take out tons of hostiles without being challenged much, which is why I wouldn't recommend ripping the powers directly from a character like that. It's better to focus on being great at one or two things than trying to be great at everything.

Personally if you're focusing on combat the speed and reflexes might be the most beneficial as they can help prevent you from taking damage.

Powers: Six’s entire kit revolves around psychological warfare and manipulating his opponents into a vulnerable state through attacks on their psyche.

Telepathy - Six is able to speak to others using only his mind. Six is also able to manipulate one’s thoughts - typically forcing them into a dark state of mind, inducing a near-torturous despair and deep depression. This puts his opponents in a vulnerable position, allowing for them to be quickly killed by Six.

Telekinesis - Six is able to levitate up to 12 inanimate objects - or levitate himself - and throw them to deal damage to opponents or simply to apply terror to the opponent through the imitation of a poltergeist, also assisting in giving the opponent an impending sense of doom.

Smoke Mimicry - Six is able to turn his body into smoke, providing him with temporary invulnerability while in this form. Six can also manipulate the smoke in order to move himself while in this form.

Smoke Generation - Six can emit smoke from his body, creating cover for himself and allowing him to “disappear” from his opponents sight.

Smoke Manipulation - Six can manipulate the smoke he generates, allowing him induce coughing in his opponents and induce mental hallucinations in his opponents by removing oxygen, assisting his goal to destroy his opponent’s psyche.


Weaknesses: While in ‘smoke form’, Six cannot physically attack his opponents. His attacks while in this form consist only of mental attacks or smoke attacks. Additionally, he can only stay in smoke form for - at most - five continuous minutes. Upon reaching five minutes, his body automatically returns to its physical form.

Regarding his telepathy, Six can only use his telepathy on - at the most - five people at once. Telepathy applies a serious strain on one’s mind, severely limiting how many people one can communicate to. This strain is lessened with training, and the amount of people one can communicate with telepathically increases.

The Joakim Corporation is a megacorporation, a massive conglomerate encompassing numerous industries. From miltech development to metahuman research. It was founded by Robert Joakim in 1929, starting as a firearms manufacturing company that slowly but surely expanded into multiple other industries. Today, the Joakim Corporation is headed by chairman Marcus Delman and is suspected to have ties to Pyramid, according to online conspiracy theorists.

Personality: Six is cold, ruthless and near-devoid of any personality. However, his non-existent personality could be seen as somewhat of a personality in and of itself. A personification of sociopathy and the unhinged.
Motivation: The feeling of dominance over his victims.
Biography: Not much is known of Martin’s backstory, with a lot of it being hidden by the Joakim Corporation’s executives. However, what is known is that Six was born in Chicago to Joshua and Trisha Davis, and developed powers at the incredibly early age of two years old. His telekinesis came first, resulting in his parents getting hurt by telekinetically-thrown items during his tantrums.

It is unknown how, but the Joakim Corporation took custody of Martin soon after, helping him develop his powers as he continued to grow older. With the purpose of introducing him into the Joakim Corporation’s hitsquad, ‘Task Force Ankou’.

Task Force Ankou’s job is to serve as the Joakim Corporation’s assassins - a corporate special forces of sorts - meant to do the wet and dirty work of the Corporation’s executives, ensuring their will occurs. There are six members of Ankou, all being assigned to different parts of the world and to different branches of the Joakim Corporation. Six was assigned to the North American branch.

Creative Agrokinesis: Samuel Haley is capable of creating, manipulating, growing, and extensively altering any form of plant based life on earth, from common moss to California Redwoods. His powers allow for the introduction of new species and the creation of new plant life near-instantaneously and seemingly without physical restriction, making him one of the more powerful metahumans currently alive.

Minor Regenerative Healing Factor: Due to an operation performed by research teams employed by Pyramid, Secretary Haley reaps the benefits of accelerated healing, with most minor wounds healing at a massively accelerated rate and major ones healing 60% faster. Haley is unable to regrow severed body parts and would be wholly unable to recover from extreme trauma to the head.

Increased Pain Threshold: Due to an operation performed by research teams employed by Pyramid, Secretary Haley has been bestowed an increased pain threshold, with all but the most major wounds failing to cause more than minor inconvenience pain-wise.

Weaknesses:

Fire: Secretary Haley is extremely susceptible to fire-based injury, with burns completely negating both his artificially increased pain threshold and healing factor and exceeding normal levels of pain by up to 400%. Damage done to Haley's unique plant growths in this fashion will render him increasingly exhausted until he ultimately is rendered unconscious.

Potential Blackmail: Though Samuel Haley is generally a somewhat camera-friendly individual, his personal life is unusually private for a man of his political and social relevance. Extensive investigation into Haley's past would be unlikely to turn up much that is not already known, given the lengths he has gone to conceal some details, but if an individual close to him knew where to look and who to interrogate, it is likely that they would uncover Haley's true sexual orientation, or perhaps something darker.

Expensive Pen: An engraved ballpoint pen made in Flanders, nothing special.

Stylish Glasses: Provided by Pyramid, these otherwise normal glasses provide Haley with an on-command equivalent to x-ray vision, allowing him to see through walls, cases, and other inanimate objects up to 200 feet away. This extends to objects that have been altered via metahuman abilities, but not to objects that have been altered by magic.

Surgically-Implanted Earpiece: Implanted by Pyramid, this tool allows Haley to understand the language of any speaker within hearing distance with perfect accuracy. Note, this does not allow him to speak those languages, merely understand them.

Personality: In a typical interaction with Samuel Haley, the other person involved will leave the conversation with a couple of things. A new fact, typically, whether that be about the newest developments in the realm of Botany or Agriculture or about something else entirely. A renewed respect for a man who has accomplished so much in such a relatively short amount of time, but that seems to maintain a certain air of Midwestern approachability and kindness. Perhaps unsolicited advice, though this has gotten rarer as the years have gone by, and perhaps an interest in what propelled this man to where he is today. Publicly, Samuel is dancing on the thin line between normal and eccentric, but when he's with the select few that he considers friends, his eccentricity is significantly muted, replaced with thoughtful dialogue and dry humor.
Motivation: Sam Haley is currently engaged in a deep relationship with Pyramid, and is generally required to do whatever is asked of him by the organization to further its goals. Given his role and public persona, however, he is awarded a significant amount of independence in his actions. Having been aware of his power from a young age and regarding it as a gift rather than a curse, Haley is not nearly as idealistic as he was before his rise to prominence, but stays attached to a personal code that values the alleviation of general human suffering as a key pursuit. This sense of morality is somewhat warped, however, by a significant personal arrogance that often leads him to the conclusion that he is the answer to a given situation. This could prove dangerous under certain circumstances, or could spur heroic action in others.
Biography: Born in Council Bluffs, Iowa, to a Registered Nurse and a Mechanic, Samuel Haley had a mostly unremarkable childhood until his mother's death at the age of 9 in an accident. Following this, his father became an alcoholic, though unlike many Sam himself was rarely the subject of abuse by his remaining parent. His father remarried when the boy was 13, then divorced when he was 15, and shortly following Samuel's 16th Birthday his father was found dead beneath a car he'd been working on, ruled an accident as well.

Samuel lived with an affluent friend for the remaining two years of high school, his newfound freedom from the responsibilities of being a caretaker and co-breadwinner weighing on his conscience yet alleviating a more material burden, allowing him to focus on his studies and ultimately graduate as the 4th in his class. He would attend the University of Wisconsin and double major in Agriculture and Botanical Studies, both majors requiring similar classes and the workload remaining manageable given his inherently intimate knowledge of the subject.

Pursuing a Masters Degree and ultimately a Doctorate in Botany at Wageningen University and Research Center in the Netherlands, Samuel quickly earned the respect and admiration of his peers, and as part of his doctoral thesis, he would lead a small expedition into the Amazon at the age of 26, his study focusing on rare plant life and its use in medicine. It was during this time that he would be acquired as a reliable asset by Pyramid, and this expedition would coincidentally end up making his career.

Miraculously, just days into the expedition, Samuel stumbled upon a previously undiscovered species of plant that he would later name Exima Vitae for its properties that would ultimately win him and 3 others the Nobel prize in Physiology and Medicine. The plant, with Samuel's careful and unexpectedly helpful guidance, would be revealed to contain a previously undiscovered chemical vital in the fight against the progression of Alzheimer's, a discovery that skyrocketed him to the forefront of the world stage for a short time. By the age of 30, his name was set to be recorded in science textbooks and medical journals forever.

In his 30's Haley would release three books, write in numerous academic journals, and use his accumulated wealth to enter the farming business in Iowa. Quickly expanding and exceeding expected yields year after year, it was not long before a rising star in the U.S. Corn Industry became big enough to take charge. Eating up smaller farms and undercutting his opposition with ridiculous yields, and the help of his shadowy backer, at the age of 39, Haley was the heaviest juggernaut in the state.

In 2025 when the newly elected President took office, Haley was tapped to be Secretary of Agriculture thanks to fat checks during the campaign and a directive from one of Pyramid's front corporations. Leaving his industry in their capable hands as yet another front operation, Dr. Haley became Secretary Haley, and has since become a trusted advisor to the 47th President of the United States. All this time, his powers have remained under wraps, and for all intents and purposes, there is no reason to suspect that the new Secretary of Agriculture is a Metahuman, perhaps aside from his staunchly Pro-Metahuman politics.

Can't say at this point in time, the Pyramid arc is something of a slow burn and it wouldn't make sense to reveal it all from the start.

I can say however that if you're thinking of infiltrating it, it's borderline impossible. You're dealing with people that have effectively mastered 1984 levels of information control and mental manipulation, who sit behind like 10 layers of front companies. Pyramid also doesn't care to directly interact with governments.

McKinley realized all their evacuation routes had been compromised and evacuated Baldwin alone. The incident clarified the reason behind McKinley’s special glasses, but it’s also become indicative of his modus operandi… his off-the-cuff attitude. He’s never been wrong and I fear he’ll rely on instinct until it finally fails him.

His access to the inner circle through the Office of the President made him the go-to in handling delicate situations. He’s clever enough to lead people on the right track without implicating himself and I suspect he knows where a few bodies are buried. McKinley has amassed quite the war chest of political favors and a reputation as a lady’s man. President Baldwin once told me that McKinley’s dalliances eclipsed that of some Presidential administrations. The First Lady was displeased with that joke.

He knows how to manipulate; he deepens his Kentucky drawl when dealing with Republican senators, and plays the Southern gentleman around women. I was amused, watching him try to play to my personality… but I play the game too.

McKinley adores his teams and he works well with others, but his connection to the Oval Office has instilled him with a sense of invulnerability. McKinley has made many enemies among politicians, businessmen, and Lobbyists; he’s a walking encyclopedia of their sins, and President Baldwin won’t be around to protect him anymore.

He is the sort of non-traditional approach we need to keep the military and law enforcement more agile and surgical, someone who understands coordination on a large scale. Unfortunately, that means I owe President Baldwin a 25-year old single malt Scotch for recommending McKinley; he's insufferable when he’s right.
