It wasn't long before the Feds or whoever they were came for him after that.

Beyond that she has had a relatively normal life living in Arcadia (though wasn't the most cheerful of people due to the loss of her sight). When the SEDOs were discovered her's was quickly found thanks to the fact she lived with people who work for the I.C.E.D.I.S and they decided to run a check to see. It was decided due to how... benign her SEDO is and the fact that her family is a scientist and an I.C.E.D.I.S agent she could simply stay with her family, she commonly accompanies her cousin on low level work as it makes her feel useful.

• Sight: Simply put she can see, perfectly normally through her remaining eye thanks to her SEDO. Yes that's it, being able to see normally during a limited time frame, suffice to say she feels great joy at this.
• Instinct: Nearly foresight she can almost see things before they happen and act accordingly, though much, much, more often than not it is simply a very strong gut feeling or instinct. Sometimes it triggers spontaneously or her SEDO does it herself without Anna willing it.
• Free of BarriersShe can, while using her sight, see through walls and view the contents (including people) in rooms

Weaknesses

• Weakness of sight: There are few actual weaknesses to her having her sight restored but it is disorienting initially for her which means if she did get into a fight and utilized it she would not be as effective initially. That and usage of it is very tiresome for her to use it for extended periods of time since it is more or less forcing something that shouldn't work to work, especially since her eye hasn't been used in 11 years. Also if something could interfere with her SEDO while using her sight she (theoretically) will see things wrong.
• Failure of Instinct: Her sense of instinct can be confused or she can anticipate things wrong. Also there are times where she can't trigger it and it won't trigger by itself (such as when in a state of physical or mental exhaustion), also use of her instinct, voluntary or involuntary, can exhaust her.
• Limitation of barriers: Generally she can't see much past a wall more than three meters thick (range possibly shortened depending on materials)

-While not a skill thanks to her blindness her other four senses is considerably sharper than the norm.

Bio: Daisuke Nakamura, born in 2016 on the 19th of November to a Filipino prostitute and a father that was either dead at the bottom of the Yoshino river or lost in the sea of humanity that was Japan, never really had a childhood. Realistically, he had a few memories from really early on that he might classify as a childhood, like sitting in front of a TV watching animations or playing with a few other toddlers from the tenement. Honestly? The boy was in charge of himself and a portion of his family's income since the age of seven. While he was still learning to read and write his own language, Dai was running around the streets of urban Tokushima, scamming tourists and businessmen. English, Mandarin, and Cantonese became easily recalled skills in his young mind as he wandered the new booming financial capital of East Asia. Which is a bit of a surprise to many considering the fact that in 2019, Hong Kong was the holder of that title.

Past the age of ten and into his teenager years, became intimately familiar with the reason why Hong Kong had fallen out of fashion and a random city on Shikoku had taken its place. The yakuza group named Inagawa-Kai had, in the year 2020, began making rather large moves, both domestically and internationally. While a lot of their political moves and actions have been heavily hidden from the public and the government, the fact that the Inagawa-Kai now presided over a large coalition of smaller yakuza families and Chinese triad groups was obvious. The Syndicate of Eastern Dragons was a powerful group, powerful enough to take a majority of the financial and trade businesses in Hong Kong and move them somewhere closer to home... like Dai's hometown of Tokushima. As a young, up-and-coming criminal on the streets of the yakuza's most important city, it didn't take long for Daisuke Nakamura to become... acquainted with the Inagawa-Kai.

Dai went from running some minor cons in the streets between school sessions to running weapons, distracting police, and being a lookout for the yakuza in his free time. Eventually, the young gangster dropped out of school and went into the yakuza full time. He killed his first man at the age of sixteen. It was a week after that he made a friend for life in Seijo Tamura. Another young assassin in the service of the Inagawa-Kei, Seijo and Daisuke discovered that they had a lot in common. They both were children of poor, single parents whose need for money drove their sons to crime. They both killed their first man at the age of sixteen. They bonded over stories of struggle and bottles of sake, which eventually turned into shared missions. On one of these missions, they became known as the Black and White Demons of Shikoku, due to Seijo's flashy white outfit he had used to distract the target while Dai hid in the shadows to take him out. Eventually, though, they started to grow apart. While Daisuke was never the most intelligent person, Seijo had been tapped by the oyabun as a potential heir and a definite lieutenant. Of course, Daisuke was an honorable man and a capable man. He wasn't jealous of his friend's promotion to a higher level in the Organization. It might have even been a good thing for Dai, as being the right hand assassin of a lieutenant or the prospective heir of the oyabun was a lucrative position. In fact, it was while helping Seijo deal with his territory in Osaka that he really made his mark.

It had been a rainy night in Osaka, though one without the expected lightning and thunder. Just darkness and the pattering of rain against the office building's windows. Inside, the personal guard of an anti-yakuza politician patrolled each of the eight floors, their weapons locked and loaded. The lights in the building were bright, ready to reveal anyone trying to sneak about. At least, that's how it was in the beginning. With the suddenness of a horror movie, the power in the entire building went out, leaving every floor in darkness. What followed, to the politician's ears, was the occasional sound of gun fire, then screaming... then silence. Eight time this happened. And then the politician didn't hear anything again.

Not all members of the Inagawa-Kai were as receptive to Seijo as the oyabun had been, though. In fact, there had been a few choice lieutenants that had thought this up-start had gotten a bit too big for his capabilities. Three of these jealous men and women got together in a bar one night and sealed their fates with lies and blood. Seijo had a bit of a tougher family life than Daisuke, at least in the years after college. Seijo lost his father at 17, leaving him alone to deal with his own life. For a while, Seijo only had Dai as any sort of safety net, but eventually, a new person entered their group. A young woman, having moved to Tokushima from Tokyo to make her way as an accountant, suddenly got pulled into the yakuza life through her part time job as a bartender. Seijo, being the honorable and vulnerable man he was, was immediately smitten with this woman. Her name was Aiko and she married Seijo in 2035, when they were both 19 years old. Daisuke was the best man. And a year later, when they had their baby girl Airi, he was her godfather. Those three jealous lieutenants from earlier? Their plan was to kidnap Aiko and Airi, lure Seijo into a trap, and kill all three. Lie to Seijo about who had has family... and then spill their blood. Simple, essentially, except they didn't count on Daisuke.

What happened that night, in that bar in Tokushima... Dai doesn't talk about it. Neither do the Inagawa-Kai. Every once in a while, an scarred enforcer will have too much sake one night and mumble incoherently about an honorable man that died, his tortured wife, a babe stolen from treacherous arms, and a ghost of vengeance forgotten for a favor. To the rest of the world, what happened that night was just another mob hit. To the Inagawa-Kai, every member of Seijo's family died. Every member. And so did Daisuke Nakamura.

Meanwhile, Daniel Watanabe immigrated to the floating city of Arcadia from Canada with his infant daughter Airi Watanabe. Apparently, his grandfather had owned a rather successful, if a little unknown, backstreet cafe in Arcadia and had left it to Daniel in his will. And no one talks about how a nice Turkish family used to own the cafe and not an old Japanese-Canadian man by the name of Watanabe. It's been nearly 16 years since Daniel took over that backstreet cafe and turned it into the Shikoku Cafe and Bar; if anyone remembered the old Istanbul Bakery and Kaffe Shoppe, it surely must have been in a different place, right? Either way, everyone thought that Danny was a good guy! His coffee selection was great, he had this wonderful smile, and the ears on the man! He was a wonderful listener, a great trait in both a barista and a bartender. And no one really talked about the full tattoo sleeve he had on his arm or the few scars on his face.

Though, they do tend to talk about how he faced down a few robbers with nothing but a cup of joe and a smile. Really, his bravery was astounding to a lot of people. It was like he wasn't afraid of anything!

Skills: After years serving the Inagawa-Kai as a hitman, Dai has been thoroughly trained in the art of silent killing. While it has been a few years sine he's had to take a life, this unassuming cafe owner has maintained his intense workout regime in order to remain prepared for any self-defense situation. He's also supplemented his routine with extra session teaching Airi how to defend herself, which has helped him get a better handle on some of the finer hand-to-hand techniques he knows. Teaching is the final step to learning something, as some people say. Daisuke's entire body is a weapon that he's used to kill multiple times. He's an expert with blades of all kinds and nearly a perfect shot with a pistol. He's terrible when it comes to farther ranges, his mind not really capable of the math required to be a sniper. His skills were always more suited to infiltration and silent assassination with a blade or low caliber bullet. No one would be able to guess, though, because he's perfected his outward persona of suffering young father of a 16 year old child and barely educated business owner. It wasn't that hard and, thankfully, made him very relatable. And his smile has gotten increasingly disarming as he got older.
Equipment: A set of knives and daggers ranging along a varied amount of lengths, an arsenal of different pistols suited for different kinds of situations, a tanto, a ninjato, a katana, a set of kevlar, and his signature black suit. Other than that, he has a shotgun hidden under the bar of his shop and a range of typical barista and bartender attire.

Personality: A few years ago, if you asked anybody about Dai's personality, they would have told you he was a brick wall. His face didn't show emotion, his voice was relatively monotone, and for some strange reason, his posture just read 'I'm gonna kill you' to everyone. After sixteen years of having a daughter and working in the service industry, though, every wall Dai had ever put up seemed to have been utterly demolished. He'd transformed into an entirely different person. Dai tells jokes, he listens, he understands. He's a great person now. People really don't suspect that he's a mass murderer.

Bio: If you were to ask Jackson what he thought his life would be like in the future, he would say he never imagined his life would end up working as an agent for the I.C.E.D.I.S. Most of his early life was unremarkable, gaining an interest in the medical field and wanting to help people from a pretty young age. From that, he learned and eventually became an EMS at 22. It would be a year later when he got what seemed like a regular run, but would end up having him come face to face with with a small-scale EDO that killed the rest of his ambulance team. But whether by luck or will, Jackson survived by tricking it to shock itself in a power plant long enough for I.C.E.D.I.S to show up and kill it. Impressed by Jackson's actions and handling an EDO, they gave him an ultimatum; come work for them and help with the threat of EDO's, or walk away and never spoke of what happened again. Powers: Pretty simple, standard pyrokinesis, but the more injured he is, the more powerful he becomes. At full health he can produce a fireball around the size of a human skull... near death, he can incinerate everyone in the room.
Weaknesses As previously mentioned, he has to be injured or in poor health for his power to be particularly effective. At the same time, maximum effectiveness also puts any allies in the area in danger, so it's very risky to use if not fighting alone.
Skills: High endurance, perhaps too much knowledge of the human body's weak points, excellent perception and ability to avoid being perceived himself, above average agility, some hand-to-hand combat skills, and proficiency with firearms.

Bio: Being the only daughter of a single father who downright refused to talk about your mother was incredibly difficult. While Airi had been growing up in Arcadia, doing your typical child things like making friends at preschool and going to their houses for play dates, she always felt a bit... different. Everyone either had a mom and a dad, or two moms, or two dads, or one parent and some really good memories of the other one... or got to see the other one every other weekend. It was strange. When she brought the question up to her kindergarten teacher about why her dad might not want to talk about her mother, the teacher made a point of asking her father about it in front of her.

That didn't really end like Airi wanted, but at least her dad took her to go get ice cream after he was finished having a very serious looking whisper with her teacher. And, strangely, her teacher never really brought up the subject of her mother with her ever again. That was okay, though, because started to get more important priorities. Like school and grades and making even more friends as she slowly progressed up the hierarchy of schooling. It was fun, in a kind of unique way. She made good grades, she got to run around with her friends, and, eventually, after her dad started to teach her how to defend herself and work out, she started getting the attention of the ever elusive prey: boys.

And other girls, but they weren't so elusive.

Airi was walking home from a New Year's party one of her friends had thrown, a little tipsy from the slightly illegal punch that they had, when the... event occurred. It wasn't anything to do with the explosion of SEDOs and other EDOs from that rift. No, it was the fact that somebody had started to follow her as she seemingly wandered down the streets. Now, normally, this wouldn't have been an issue. Airi had been well trained by her father in hand-to-hand combat... but she was a little drunk right now. In an effort to see if that person was really following her, she hurried down an alley way and pressed against the wall in the shadow of a dumpster. *Please, don't let him see me...* she pleaded with whatever god might hear her at the footsteps of her pursuer got closer and closer. *You will be fine, my lady.* the androgynous response came.

This was her first interaction with her new friend and dark passenger, Shinobi.

Afterward, she discovered that Shinobi was, indeed, a being from another dimension and was willing to impart on her... special gifts if she was willing to follow a simple pact. Punish all criminals that may come her way, be it with death if they deserve it or quick imprisonment if their crimes are not so heinous. Seeming as Airi's moral compass was relatively along the straight and narrow, she accepted. For the passed three weeks, the vigilante known to the papers known as Spectre has been stalking the street, taking out any crime with impunity. Her first act was to catch a drug dealer in the middle of giving hardcore drugs to middle schoolers, leaving him unconscious in front of the police department. Of course, when confronted with the idea of being found again be a vengeful ghost of justice, the man confessed to his crimes. The real case that got her name in the papers, though, happened a week ago.

She stumbled on to this plot by a bunch of yakuza members, specifically adherents to the Inagawa-Kai, that had been planning on shipping out a bunch of stolen women to serve as strippers prostitutes in Japanese clubs. Working in the shadows and using her hand to hand skills... she killed every single one of them. A whole fifteen man team, armed to the teeth, was massacred out on the docks. Each had their throat slit from behind... and when questioned, the freed women could only remember a shadow flicking between them, along with the jets of blood.

S.E.D.O Name: Shinobi
Powers: I have forgotten how to use the list function, so this dumbass just gonna list them out with the basic a one a two a three.

1. Silence of the Shinobi - Airi is able to conceal herself easily in shadow, the girl completely disappearing from perception when she merges with the shade. If there isn't enough darkness for her to completely activate her power, she is instead covered in a writhing form of it, the shadows clinging to her body and concealing her identity from perception, making her look like a black spectre or wraith with no eyes. Along with this, she is completely silent in both forms unless she decides to talk or lets out any other vocalization.

2. Thoroughfares of the Thief - While concealed completely in shadow, Airi is able to travel anywhere else covered in shadow, instantaneously. Essentially, she can cloak herself and then appear anywhere in a five hundred foot radius of her entrance, as long as the departure point was within sight of the entrance or previous used as an entrance. Meaning that, as a fight goes on, Spectre gains more and more hideyholes that she can pop in and out of.

3. Gifts of the Ghost - When her ability to teleport through darkness isn't available, Airi isn't necessarily helpless. Along with her ability to morph into shadows and be covered with it, her body is modified with extra capable muscles. She's able to leap three stories in a single bound, land on a vertical wall, and use that as a platform to leap again, in incredibly quick succession. She is also slightly stronger than she should be as a sixteen year old girl, putting her punches on the same level as someone that looks like Dwayne Johnson. She also has incredibly sharp eyes and ears, allowing her to easily detect incoming attackers from her back. As a combination of enhanced agility and speed, both of which are products of her increased muscle strength, Airi is able to leap clear out of any dangerous situation after hearing a gunshot. The maximum amount of time she'd need in order to dodge a bullet is about two seconds from hearing the gunshot to being able to jump out of the way. Meaning that she can only really dodge shots fired from a low caliber hunting rifle or pistol from a fair distance away she'd be able to dodge, but not a legitimate sniper or high caliber weapon meant to take down targets from a large distance.

Weaknesses When fighting during the day, Spectre is severely handicapped. Without a proper amount of darkness, she isn't able to use a major portion of her powers. She's simply left with a waning wisp of her shadowy form and her physical capabilities. Along with that, she's your typical rogue in an RPG. She has a possibility of dealing large amounts of damage in the right situations, but in other scenarios, she's completely vulnerable. While able to dodge a bullet given enough distance, she would still be easily killed by one... or by foe that could overpower her physically and prevent her from escaping.
Skills: An intimate familiarity with multiple styles of hand to hand combat, including ones with the use of bladed weapons. She also knows what your basic high school junior would know about the world, can speak English, Japanese, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Oh, and cooking. That was an important lesson in life her father gave her.
Equipment: A combat knife procured from her father's stash, a hold out pistol given to her by her father in secret, and she generally wears work out clothes due to the fact that her powers give her a costume. And then all the necessary shit a person needs these days.

RP Sample: I just remembered that one time Doc made a really cute story about an idiot saving his high school or something for one of these, but he wrote it like a five year old would? Man, I wish I had that kind of talent... I can only write, like, stupid pseudo-intellectual bullshit and crime drama. Especially organized crime drama. I don't know why, Faal, but your RPs always make me go to the mob life for ideas, ever since Sasha. Who... I still think has been one of my best characters. At least, when it came to fight scenes. The utter brutality I put into him... wooh mama.

Is it annoying that I use these to vent? I really need places to vent about my memories... otherwise they just, sorta... get pushed into a bottle that can't really get any more shit pushed into it without blowing up.

Peter Konstantinovich Ilyanovsky was born in 2020 at St. Petersburg. His father, Konstantin Maximilianovich Ilyanovsky, was a Russian Baptist and an engineer employed by Lukoil for a handsome salary, which he used in part to provide his sons with a decent education. Despite Konstantinovich’s interest in all things military, his father pushed him to continue the family tradition of working in engineering, and in 2023 he attained a degree in Mechanical Engineering at the Moscow State University.
Unfortunately, due to a decline in petroleum prices affecting the Russian economy, Konstantinovich had trouble finding a job. Seeking any form of income, he managed to enlist in the Interior Ministry Troops as a technical expert. Much to his surprise, he was deemed overqualified for his position and was subsequently transferred to the FSB, were he was to hold a low-ranking position as an investigator. He soon realised the reason for his transfer when he was introduced to the Russian branch of ICEDIS, who happened to need a technician at the time.
With the recent incidents in Arcadia, Peter was transferred overseas under the guise of an FSB Observer under the guise of an engineer coming to observe the city. He is still suspicious of his quick transfers and ‘promotions’, and has a slight suspicion that he is going to serve as cannon fodder.

Standard Sharpshooting • As a requirement to his current profession, Konstantinovich is an excellent shooter, and is capable of making intermediate to long range shots accurately despite the limitations of his short-barreled firearms.
Mechanical Mastery • Thanks to his degree, Konstantinovich can quickly grasp the function of a machine, and create or repair one given the proper materials.
Polyglot • Due to Russia’s economic situation, the Ilyanovsky family believed that the ability to relocate was essential. As such, Peter speaks not only fluent Russian, but also English, French alongside German. He holds a good understanding of Slavic languages in general.
