Yancy was scraping by in the ruins of the city when he came across a man being accosted by the criminal sort. Yancy sorted them out right quick, sparing the odd fellow with a number branded on his head. Said man introduce Yancy to the wonders of The Great Sultan and his mighty N'Kee warriors. Yancy was a tough guy, and so were these guys. So, Yancy eschewed his old name, taking the moniker of Titan known as Gehrig. Mmkay, so hypothetically speaking if I were to create a high-density settlement from one or more inter-connected skyscrapers/taller structures, would that be agreeable to your vision? Basically the idea being such tall buildings (Doubly so since they're so few now) would have much greater sight-lines. Protection from any wild-life or would-be raiders would be far easier (shooting down at would-be assailants or in the off-chance it's residents aren't armed, even just hurling whatever is heavy down on the heads of those approaching), specifically the higher floors interconnected by bridges to allow multiple groups to work as one settlement of sorts.
