As the great Roman Empire is split into two, the eastern half starts to see problems. Their problems, though, are nothing compared to the western half. With administrative difficulties, the influx of Germans and rebelling armies, the western half is very likely to collapse. The eastern half, too, has administrative difficulties, but they differ from the west, with them surrounded by enemies on all sides. With the Gupta empire rising in India, the Huns travelling towards the west and the Germans chipping away at Rome, the world's greatest empire is soon to collapse and new empires soon to rise.

Events are probably one of the most important parts of this RP. There is not a list of events, but rather they come up when you play a certain way. For example, if you pay your soldiers very badly, they have a much higher chance of revolting. To make them revolt, an event will pop up in the form of the OP saying it in the IC. The nation then (sometimes) has multiple options. These options can be chosen by quoting the OP and then choosing one.

Adolar stood before his army, it stretching far and wide as he pondered the state in which Prussiah was in, for years now it had remained small and isolationist. Barely interacting or trading with the tribes around them, for its army was the only thing the chieftains of the past could focus on. For without it, Prussiah would’ve stood on fragile ground surrounded by vultures that would take its land each and every passing day.

Yet times have now changed, the Romans stood fractured between two sides… and the west, at least in his eyes was beginning to crumble. He could only wonder how long it had to stand, the Romans were no friends to his people… Neither were they enemies. He took a deep breath of the cold air around him, watching his soldiers train for upcoming battles to be had, he knew that no matter how well prepared they were. Prussiah was surely in danger, time shifts around dramatically and if he were to secure the safety of the people around him he needed to gather allies. Thinking of the tribes around him, the Heiminkah, Austrophen, and Keinmorhaph. Perhaps he could gain their aid…. Strengthen the bonds between them to serve as a bulwark of strength and unity to protect all of their peoples.

He was unsure of this, yet figured it was the best chance they all had… The Romans might’ve been collapsing, but a new force would rise up to threaten his people again. Whether they’re from the east, north, south, or west….

He called forth envoys with his fittest men to offer, ordering them to go out to the tribes of Heiminkah, Austrophen, and Keinmorhaph in order to make good relations with them. Encourage trade, and perhaps work towards building a mutual defense pact between them all.

But those that came afterwards neglected Rome, and the Five Good Emperors are nothing more than a distant memory for most, a burst of light before a sudden dimming. A slow procession of weak-willed Emperors, and Soldier-Kings has left the empire rotten to its core, idle senators waste time bickering in the cluttering maw of the senate, all while barbarous darkness looms across the frontier, always threatening to envelope the last light of civilization.

While their eastern cousins has not only survived, but flourished in gods new city, Constantinople, the progenitor lays bare and broken. Such is the state of the Eternal City, that its position as capital has been stripped, in favour of Mediolanum, a city much more secure in the Alps. Provinces on the border are routinely ravaged by raiders and savages, and provinces such as Brittania may soon be lost to Imperial hands forever. The weight of Empire rests heavily on the shoulders of Emperor Valentinian I, and if he is not vigilant, he will be forever remembered as the man that finally buried Rome...

The time has come for the Empire to make a stand, and restore power to Rome, or succumb and wither...

Sigfred's triumph

Sigfred watched, as his men tore down his rival's, Gudfred's men. A few years ago, he had been a poor, bankrupt, rural farmer, with nothing but a field of land to work on. Then again, would you consider that field the belonging of a peasant, if the peasant had to give his harvest away every year, to his landowner? Sigfred had escaped this hard work, by literally running away. The landowner had sent 3 mercenaries to catch Sigfred, but he had at that point, sought protection from the clan of Kjellsherd, which offered him protection if Sigfred would join their armed forces. He accepted and became the clan's soldier.

Though being a soldier was hard, it was certainly better than working the fields. Soon, he killed the leader of a rival clan in personal combat. This gave him an immediate promotion to an officer of the army. He commanded about 200 troops, which was relatively big. In 369, the Kjellsherd clan became the one to get the honour of becoming the ruling clan of Denmark, meaning that the family head would be the king. And so, the Kjellsherd family went to Copenhagen, with many troops going with them to guard the family. Due to most generals being away, Sigfred was appointed the commander of nearly a thousand troops. With this, mainland Denmark was his playground.

In September of 369, he attacked a city in the north, taking it with ease. He soon attacked the men of another clan and completely destroyed nearly 3,000 troops with his 1,000. Upon the discovery of such an attack, the Kjellsherd family sent their best general, Gudfred to defeat Sigfred. Gudfred brought 4,000 troops and all of Denmark's ships in order to kill Sigfred and prevent a civil war. Gudfred landed in Aarhus and quickly seized the city, only to discover that Sigfred had surrounded it. Sigfred had also gathered much more troops, with many deserting from many clans across Denmark. Gudfred's forces charged at Sigfred's but were brutally slaughtered. Sigfred had a better defensive position.

With Sigfred destroying the army of Gudfred, he took his ships and sailed to Copenhagen.

The Greeks called them Hyperboreans, The Romans saw them has a people on the edge of the known world, Even the mighty Germans were far separated from the Swedes. However, as Europe started to burn, the Swedes had yet to take any real interest in expanding their influence... until Chief Jansmir united the Swedish People.

Jansmir united the Swedes by force and founded the "Kingdom" of Svíþjóð. Generations later, the "King" Jansmir III now looks on with ambition. He is, however, not without his foes. Those Goths and Osgoths to the South, the Sami to the North, even those damned Romans may stand in the way of Swedish conquest. However, should the Swedes remain head-strong, "King" Jansmir III shall bring the Swedish People to victory.

Sweden is a Tribal Land, hence why "King" and "Kingdom" are in quotes. It has yet to modernize to the likes of Kingdoms/Empires like the Romans, Indians, or Persians.

Their "king", Jansmir III, is an average ruler with a poor administrative ability of 2, an average economic ability of 3, and a good military ability of 4, which he inherited from his ancestors. Overall, this makes him an average ruler with an overall ability of 2/3/4

Pynlik, however, was a terrible general, she couldn't hold a candle to Rome's ones. That did not stop the country from flourishing however. The people had a high morale, during the rule of Pynlik, no civil wars had erupted and peace reigned. The economy, however, also needed to be improved. In its current state it couldn't compete with others. Therefore he had devised a plan, which would bare fruit later. He had searched the realm for high ranking chieftains of the tribe, he wished lend the lands to them and together, rule a greater realm. He sought to unite all of the Low Countries and taking back places like Willemshaven and Northern France.

He started to seek out chieftain's in Holland, Gelre and Friesland, the cradle of life.

Founding post: The death of King Tiberius Julius Rhescuporis VI of the Bosporan Kingdom in the year 342 marked the beginning of several decades of turmoil within the kingdom. The threat of the steppe peoples became more apparent with each subsequent ruler of the Kingdom. The year is now 370 and an usurper has taken control of the Kingdom. A Macedonian soldier of the Byzantine Empire named Sabbatius Kurkuas would make a name for himself as a skilled soldier and tactician within his seven years of military service to the empire. The soldier would take the opportunity that the chaos within the nearby Bosporan Kingdom had created in order to immortalize himeself as the defender of Europe. The soldier would move to the kingdom in 363 and quickly begin plotting his conquest of the throne. The death of yet another King of the Julian Dynasty would allow the soldier to make his entrance in the year 366. His supporters, comprised of members of the military and various wealthy individuals, would march on the seat of centralized power and would declare the death of the Julian Dynasty. The heir apparent of the Julian Dynasty, weaker than his father, would submit to the soldier. The heir apparent would immediately be slain as to avoid the possibility of rebellion against the new dynasty. The soldier would take up the name Alexander II in homage to the old Macedonian Conqueror and would set about rebuilding Bosporan society into a militarized society that would be able to defeat the eastern invaders

Iron and Power, that is what the Romans tribes upon, but as such they aren't the best against another foe, corruption and age. Inevitable Forces. But Rome is reborn, not the derelict city that sat in italy, but the spirit and Power of a nation that can slay entire nations, reborn within Constantinople, with the children born in purple to lead the way.

With the high Greek influences and the constant aggressive tribes that surrounds our nation, we fear of death, or chaos. But in this fear comes a new light, a new understanding, from know knowing the pagans and heretics just believe in our God but in a different way, and our true enemy and goals. For we have lost the west, let it rot in the self mutilating hordes of Pagans, while we go and rebirth Alexander's empire, but with the Romans at its steed

Founding post: The death of King Tiberius Julius Rhescuporis VI of the Bosporan Kingdom in the year 342 marked the beginning of several decades of turmoil within the kingdom. The threat of the steppe peoples became more apparent with each subsequent ruler of the Kingdom. The year is now 370 and an usurper has taken control of the Kingdom. A Macedonian soldier of the Byzantine Empire named Sabbatius Kurkuas would make a name for himself as a skilled soldier and tactician within his seven years of military service to the empire. The soldier would take the opportunity that the chaos within the nearby Bosporan Kingdom had created in order to immortalize himeself as the defender of Europe. The soldier would move to the kingdom in 363 and quickly begin plotting his conquest of the throne. The death of yet another King of the Julian Dynasty would allow the soldier to make his entrance in the year 366. His supporters, comprised of members of the military and various wealthy individuals, would march on the seat of centralized power and would declare the death of the Julian Dynasty. The heir apparent of the Julian Dynasty, weaker than his father, would submit to the soldier. The heir apparent would immediately be slain as to avoid the possibility of rebellion against the new dynasty. The soldier would take up the name Alexander II in homage to the old Macedonian Conqueror and would set about rebuilding Bosporan society into a militarized society that would be able to defeat the eastern invaders
