That's me. Me and probably my Co-OPs (Imperialisium is the only Co-OP here so far) are responsible for NPCs, even if the rules says I am in charge of the NPCs. I will be posting as them in a hurry.

I think Texas may have unwittingly started WW3, the long this war goes the more countries get involved.

So far there are four belligerents, Texas, the AF, Cuba, and Louisiana. Three non-belligerents (countries that support a side in some capacity, but aren't involved in armed conflict) PSA, Quebec, and Oceania. And two officially neutral countries, Russia and Yukolumbia.

I think I'm gonna rewrite my statement due to me thinking the war was between Texas & The Atlantic Federation. It will still be the same stance of neutrality though

Yes, this war has four belligerents, yet three of them are allies. It's Cuba, Louisiana and probably the AF against Texas. Also, we will be sure this doesn't cause WW3 and rather end up like the Cuban Missile Crisis (in which we try to prevent WW3 and ensure peace in a hurry). Since Texas would have unwittingly started WW3, it will pay a lot for this.

But that only gets you so far and the side effects may not be readily apparent before it’s too late.

Small populations can and do resist assimilation, especially if they have a recent history as an independent nation (Bamar, Lao, Khmer in this RP's timeline). Also, the position of your government on "caring about minorities" would be rather irrelevant, minorities have survived that too (Basque, Galicians, Catalans etc of Spain during the Franco regime). It's ultimately up to the OP and Co-Op, but I don't see that level of assimilation happening in ~30 years.
