The oppressive Galactic Empire is in peril! After the destruction of their weapon of mass destruction, the Death Star, thousands of planets have flocked to join the Aliance to Restore the Republic, creating the first real military opposition for the Galactic Empire during their two decades of tyranny. As battles rage on across the galaxy between the Rebel Alliance and the Galactic Empire, pilots are enlisted on either side by the dozen.

You are one such pilot, a Rebel, your origins don't matter. You have enlisted in the Starfighter Corps, taking to the stars to bring the fight to the Empire and end their reign once and for all. A former cadet of the Imperial Academy or a long time smuggler, you know how to fly a starfighter, and have volunteered your services to the Allinace. Assigned to the newly formed Sundry Squadron, you will pilot an X-Wing Snub Fighter on a multitude of sorties, far and wide, to support the Allinace's mission to vanquish the Empire and restore the Republic.

A lot has happened since the rise of the Empire in 19 BBY, namely the Battle of Yavin. This RP is set one year after, as the Rebel Alliance grows in size to support a military that is capable of opposition the Empire. You will control a single character in a specific branch of this Rebel Military, the Starfighter Corps.

Assigned to the Sundry Squadron, your character will pilot an X-Wing across the Galaxy on multiple sorties, trying to strike at the Empire where it hurts the most. Your character can be from any walk of life, so long as they're loyal to the Rebel Cause. Finally, this is expected to be a shorter RP, with a specifically planned plot that will be followed.

Biography: Born as a spacer in the outer rim, Wald's parents were what would be considered smugglers and at times, pirates. He was born into the life his parents held, and by the time he was a teen, he could hold his own with a blaster. As he got older, he grew a passion for flying, his parents going as far as to trust him as the permanent helmsman of their small vessel. However, once the Galactic Empire rose to power, easily targeted Republic ships turned into well guarded Imperial Convoys, and on one such raid, the family business of piracy would come to an abrupt end after a raid gone wrong, his parents were killed and the Empire would apprehend him as a criminal.

Wald would spend the next few years as a forced laborer for the Empire in a small mining colony. It was here where he found his way to the Rebellion, as many of his fellow inmates were captured rebels or sympathetic smugglers. They would formulate an escape plan, involving inciting a riot, capturing a shuttle, and disappearing into the outer rim where they would start their own rebel cell. All went according to plan, and they would eventually escape with a couple dozen fighters and a hold full of stolen imperial war materials and weapons. They would go on to fight a guerilla war, raiding remote Imperial outposts and inciting violence against imperial garrisons and sympathizers.

Eventually their rebel cell would be united under the Alliance, and in the months leading up to the Battle of Yavin, they would help establish many Rebel bases and outposts in the Outer Rim, including some of the earliest X-Wing factories. Eventually Wald would transfer to the Starfighter Corps, taking the helm of one such X-Wing and participating in many sorties across the galaxy for the Rebel Alliance. Eventually his skills as a pilot and a leader would be recognized, and he would be put in charge of his own squadron, a recently established Sundry Squadron.

Standing at a height of 180.23 cm is still slightly thin and scrawny even from the days in the Imperial Army. He has dirty unkept brown hair. He rarely smiles but when he does it always mean that victory is on the horizon or there is just alcohol nearby.

Bio: Born at the death of the Republic and the rise of the Empire on Coruscant to a military family. He was never on good terms with his father, a fanatic Imperial who had lost his legs in the clone wars, as they often argued on the status of the Empire. While Bruun was a lover of the empire he believed that the army was simply too big and the government to centralized to rule an entire galaxy. He eventually was conscripted into the army at age eighteen as an imperial soldier. He was trained as a pilot for a while but it was better decided that he be a foot soldier. He fought brutal battles against the remnants of the separatists in the outer rim until one day his unit was ordered to make an example of a village on Ryloth. It was too much. His teetering faith in the empire broke that evening. As the embers of the village floated in the cold night sky Bruun deserted. He found an imperial shuttle, disabling the guards, and fled Ryloth. He just wanted to get away from it all. He had heard reports of Rebel ships in the Alderaan system and he entered hyperspace as the TIE fighters of a nearby Imperial ship were deployed. He found a Republic cruiser and surrendered himself. He refused to fight what only a day ago was his friends and only gave tidbits of information. He was kept in captivity until he was evacuated from Alderaan and saw first hand how willing the empire was to keep power. Did they destroy a loyal planet to set an example? Why? The next day he was placed in the fighter corps.

Physical Desecration: Yorn is a tall, slender quarren. His face tentacles sport a number of scars and bruises. Like all quarren, he has a permanent poker face.
Biography: Yorn was part of the quarren diaspora living away from their home planet of Mon Calamari. His parents had opposed imperial occupation as part of the Mon Calamari fleet when Yorn was still young, and they fled the conflict together with the Mon Cala cities. After spending a lot of time adrift, the civilian part of the fleet (including Yorn’s parents) began to settle on different planets. Most planets only wanted to take in a limited number of people, and the peaceful Mon Cala were invited before the formerly separatist Quarren were, even though Yorn’s parents had always supported the republic over the separatists. When one of Yorn’s parents died on the cruiser because of lacking medical facilities, this turned Yorn off of politics forever. He broke off contact with his other parent and began traveling the galaxy on his own, fuelled by a nihilistic hatred for anything political. Humanoids were no different from animals, and all the marble halls could not distract from that fact.

He got into bad company from there on. The first two years of his new life were a party, with enough drink and bed partners to fill a life time. He played dice, bet on pod races… It was only by monumental luck that this lifestyle only caught up with him as late as it did. Not having paid his debts to the Hutt cartel, he was captured while trying to sneak off Nal Hutta. He was tortured, beaten, but eventually he convinced his captors that he could make them the money back, if they allowed him to join their ranks. Yorn proved himself to be a naturally gifted starfighter pilot without many moral scruples. He was assigned to an ARC-170 starfighter, tasked with accompanying slower freighter craft and protecting them from minor aggression. If an imperial patrol turned up, it was his task to blow up the freighter to prevent any proof from falling into imperial hands.

One day, however, Yorn was assigned to a Corellian freighter. Suddenly, they were ambushed by imperial patrols, and the modified freighter got the better of him. The craft was incredibly fast, and after jettisoning the cargo, it sped off into light speed. Yorn knew better than to return to the Hutts with this news, so instead he fled the scene as well. After a long trek through the galaxy, pretending to be a rebel pilot, he managed to get word on where the rebel headquarters were situated, although it took him a lot of bribery and a lot of killing. He thought that putting the rebels between him and the Hutts would be enough to protect his skin.

He was born on some not worthy of mentioning planet that was essentially a shit hole in Outer Rim, basically one of the worst possible places to start your life. No wonder Ifel wanted to get away from there as soon as possible and such opportunity arose around Ifel's 19th year of being alive. He obviously used the opportunity and found himself in an Imperial training, training to be a pilot. But he needed to mask his species in order to still be there.

He became a pilot and flew the starfighter of the Empire, then the civil war started and he found himself fighting. Real fighting, not simulations anymore, but he didn't agree with the cause he was fighting for and so after the destruction of the Death Star he deserted and got to the nearest planet where he got rid of the Imperial outfit and found some normal clothes. Eventually, he learned about Rebels there and enlisted to their Starfighter Corps where he was assigned to the Sundry Squadron
