Intertwined Island is a different kind of an RP. You make your character, stuff like that, but the main RP is very different.

It takes place on a island, remote, with a small port. You are a citizen there: whether you choose to be a vampire in a abandoned mansion, or a mercenary down below, you all are on the same island.

The Islands lore is built by us the players with more being added with each new player with new players being encouraged to read the over view.

Our objectives are simple; safeguard our island home and survive the conditions that befall us.

You decide what you want it to be. Its up to you.

Every 10 pages into the RP, there is a day-night cycle completed, 7 pages for day, 3 for night.

There is also weather. Every 5 pages the weather is changed, and I roll a dice to decide what weather it is: it can be sunny one day, but alter be flooding.

But the nice thing about this RP, its up to the players to shape it, and not just me.

-This takes place in the cold war era, roughly in the mid 1970's; Foxfound

It is inspired, and to some, even a ripoff, but still. That was an awesome RP though.

Assuming you're referring to the same RP I'm thinking of, I think there's a reference to one of my characters in the OP. I'll join if I can come up with any good ideas. Might reuse an old character.

How long ago was that RP? I don't think I was even using this nation yet...

I originally was playing as the vampire, but then I wasn't sure what to do with her and replaced her with a ghost. I remember I also made up a nation as part of the world/character's lore, something I was pretty happy with. I may or may not reuse some of these things.

EDIT: Yeah, that was definitely it. I had started making a map based on that picture, which might be useful for us if I can find it.

Character Sheet


A quiet girl, Akira Xing landed on this island after being lost at sea, memory lost, with only a handheld console and a bit of money on her. She is 15, and rarely says a word, and all of her talking is usually through motions and expressions, likely because of her time at sea and PTSD. She lives in a small studio apartment, and makes most of her money through work at a local store.

Her hobbies include gaming, and, she is really good at it. But Akira has a secret; she had a friend, who went overboard her life raft, and may have drowned. His name; Haruo Yagu, the person who helped her flee. Also 15, and very close friends, Akira wants to find him if he is still alive, and bring him to this small island. Little else is known about her past.

EDIT: I imagine that this takes place in the 1980's ish tech era, so let me write that down.

So, just wanted to clarify, this is more-ales a parody of another roleplay named "The Island". I loved it, and, it died. So please do not assume I ripped it off.

Yukiko Matsushima is a Japanese holdout, who never got the message that the war was over. She originally joined the imperial army by posing as a man, in order to find her husband, Ando, who she couldn't bear living without. She used the name Hiro Nakamura, and eventually became a warrant officer, and was sent off to a relatively small Pacific island, which was soon to be attacked by American forces. She didn't find her husband there, but she hasn't completely given up on it, despite all these years.

As you can tell, she can be very determined when she puts her mind to something.

(Of course, she's older, greyer, and less agile than in the picture by now, but in surprisingly good shape given her age and that she's been living in the jungle for 40 years.)

She's not very interested in politics, and while she is a patriot, she's not an ultra-nationalistic militarist, and while she perhaps would find many things in post-war Japan to be strange, she would definitely appreciate that women now has the right to vote.

Question: What's the general limit for a character? You mentioned vampires, so I'm assuming fantasy elements, but exactly how far in Sci-fi or fantasy can we go?

I assume we're going to work together to decide what the rules/history for this world, like with the last island RP, but I guess that's up to Likar.

Yup. I just dont want like meta-gaming or even aliens, but beside that, the world is kinda limitless.

I’ll have to see about making a character. I might do a character with superpowers, or perhaps just something a little magic. I’ll see, in any case.

History: Alec was borne to a poor fishing family, and his lack of wealth led him to crime. He began by stealing coin purses and intimidating his neighbors, but now that he is older, he is one of the few successful independent gangsters. He has a medium-sized non-criminal following because he often defended his community against the larger gangs.
