Luciana Vespazzi is the 24 year old daughter of Italian Immigrants and the owner of the local pub. Her parents died in a monsoon when she was 15, leaving her the sole owner of the pub for nine years. She’s extremely extroverted, outgoing, loud, and confident, which is displayed in her daily routines at the pub, as she interacts with patrons. When she’s not working, she’s either gambling, surfing, or finding some new people to talk to.
At the start, she’s at her pub, with 20$ of cash onhand, a pocketknife, and a dishrag.
Needs more flesh. I am hesitant to accept.

Should it be assumed that all information given about Person X on her Character Sheet is, in fact, common knowledge about Person X (unless she is said to be keeping Secrets Alpha, Beta, and Gamma within)?
Questions on Intertwined Island, hereinafter "II:" Is the island called II or something else? Is II located within Japan itself, or beyond (but relatively close to) Japanese waters? Is II an independent nation or - to the rest of the world - somewhere that has never been seen beyond satellite footage? How much more time - or characters - do we need before the eponymous roleplay officially commences? Are there NPCs, and if not, can one assume that the infrastructure was built by the long-since-departed? Is there - or, at least, can there be - a map, or is II supposed to be shadowed in mystery? Aren't hurricanes and typhoons the same? Based on this (if Hothnia is accepted), is there any other infrastructure beyond the docks, streetcar, and perhaps housing; and is the dollar the currency of II? Does II have a military or any missiles in tow?
(I have to go to sleep imminently, but you may or may not notice further questions from me tomorrow, and perhaps an application. PERHAPS. I am ridiculously starved for time like I have been for the past 18 months.)

Luciana Vespazzi, knien by Lucia to her friends, is the bartender and owner of the local pub, “Vespazzi’s”, named after her late parents. The 24 year old is the first and only child of Antoinette and Luca Vespazzi, Italian born immigrants originally from Napoli, whom moved to the Island 20 years ago to start a new life in a new place. Life started rough for the young couple and their young daughter, but over time, with plenty of hardwire, the family got up on their feet and were able to create that life they always wanted.
Then came the monsoon, which washed Luciana’s parents away when she was 15. Luciana quit school and took up full time work and ownership of her parents establishment. Over the next few years, the Pub fell in its reputation in the town, from a high class restaurant and bar, to its currrnt reputation of a gathering place for drunkards, sailors, and whores. Some of this, was, admittedly, Luciana fault. Whereas her late parents restricted certain types of people from frequenting their pub, Luciana let in all people, and encouraged their behavior by joining in their “fun”.
Now, the pub has a frequent group of people that inhabit it, some of which are sailors in and out of port, others, gamblers, and others are normal citizens, just looking for a drink and some company. In her free time, Luciana enjoys joining in on the gambling, going down to one of true islands many beaches and surfing, or meeting new people either at the docks, or in her pub. Throughout the town, she is known as very outspoken, confident, brutally honest, and more than a little bit cocky.
At the start, she’s at her pub, with 20$ of cash onhand, a pocketknife, and a dishrag.

Not my best work, but I’m tired, so it’ll have to do

I was thinking of doing something with the ancient inhabitants of the island too, like some sort of guardian entity they left behind that doesn't like outside supernatural influence. I was gonna research ancient Polynesians, Micronesians, and Ryukyuans, and then mix them together in order to keep the location of the island ambiguous.

Nice, I hadn't even gotten around to research actual cultures even.
Likar, is the island a US territory since it uses the dollar? Wondering since it's close to Japan but doesn't use yen. If yes, is it safe to say that the island once was a German colony that Japan won in WWI, which the Americans in turn won in WWII?
