Hello and welcome to Another Alternative Divergence, an AH/AW RP where the world is your oyster to do whatever you wish. For the sake of continuity, the time now is 1906C.E., and nations are teetering on the edge of a world war. What would be your vision of a world shaped by the nation that you call your own? Again, for the sake of continuity, we should set a few ground rules. All apps need a point of start and build-up – Whether you start from the stone age and build it up to 1900 or simply change a few things here and there from the 1800’s is up to you, but I would like for all nations to have an interesting history behind it… to prove you are capable AH/AW Rper. All nations MUST be somewhat original – Let’s try to be a bit more creative than having Great Britain at all its glory. You can keep the name and title, but you MUST have some degree of DIFFERENCE between your nation and the IRL ones. Everything can be excused with reason – I am willing to let anything be possible as long as it is stated clearly in the app with full explanation as to why it has come to be for your nation. … Similarly, I will accept NOTHING without a proper explanation. Rule on Dreadnaughts No nation will start with Dreadnaughts of any capacity All countries with "Modern" or "Semi-industrialized" will have the capacity to immediately start development of Dreadnaught from first post. All country who has been reserved BEFORE the official IC will be automatically applied to the competition to begin with Dreadnaught Two (2) Countries with the best Naval Description will be announced to have working prototype of Dreadnaught to be added to the app. The decision as to who will be awarded with the Dreadnaught will be at the descretion of the OP Board, although final decision will be made by the Main OP. For the sake of fairness, main OP's application will not be considered in the judging process and will automatically default as a result. No country can start with Dreadnaughts in the application process All applicatoins with Dreadnaughts on the app will be null-and-void until Dreadnaught description is removed All countries with "Modern" or "Semi-industrialized" will have the option to create Dreadnaughts starting from day1 post. They are close, just that they must create a post with production to be recognized as having them. Two (2) countries with best Naval Description will be awarded by the OP Board to start with a working prototype of a Dreadnaught that the country can post in the app to be recognized. Those with the "Dreadnaught" apps, please revise and TG me that you are ready to be edited. Obviously, Main OP's app (Most Serene Imperial States of Korea) will be exempt from this rule and it will NOT start with Dreadnaught to be impartial. You can pretty much do whatever you like, if you can explain it, within the limits of realism, and you should indeed take into account the histories of the players neighboring you.

• Changes that come from my own Roman Empire is that Constantinople never fell, so the whole Moscow=Third Rome idea might not work as well. Crimea has also been constantly Roman for centuries.
• The Catholic Church and the Orthodox are still distinct in terms of rite and dogma, but are still theoretically united in a Greater Chalcedonian Church. Over on the Orthodox side, there are still independent/autocephalous Patriarchs.
• The existence of a Poland-Lithuania of sorts will affect your history, though you'd have to discuss it with the player there
• Over in Asia the big powers are generally just as technologically advanced as the Europeans
