Mihal

The blast knocked Mihal to the floor, who very loudly landed on his head. With a groan, he rubbed his face and felt something wet. He just barely noticed the blood on his hand before checking his legs with the same hand. Mihal sighed with relief when he felt that he still had legs that still worked properly.

"Carter," He groaned as he stumbled to his feet, "is she safe?"

The arrival of beetle almost went unnoticed until Mihal heard a shot fizzle off his carapace. Looking around, he noticed the chaos unfolding around him three or four times over. "I.. I think we need to fight, but I can barely see straight right now." Mihal reached awkwardly into his jacket and drew a blaster pistol from a hidden holster, "Can someone get this to the Commander?"

The Jokari warbots and Kalisi mercenaries fought back as the Sarufi robots stormed the place, scattering everyone else away as men and women screamed and pushed in fear. The Sarufi machines were not as good as the Jokari ones, but there were more of them, and they sparred with the Kalisi mercenaries in acts of swordplay, metal clanking against metal.

Thanica squeezed out from under Yare, wriggling to cover behind a table where she pulled herself up to a sitting position and drew her blaster, taking a few moments to get over the winding she had received when she landed, "That's great!" she called back after a few moments, "I was already pretty motivated when he said he started yelling about eating me!"

"I'm safe!" Thanica seemed to have regained her composure fairly quickly, "And keep the blaster Mihal, I collected mine from the table before the game started, and I still have my derringer." She patted her upper thigh where it was covered by the hem of her tunic. She hadn't been lying about still being armed after giving up the dagger and blaster before, "I haven't lived to twenty-eight by being unprepared."

She pivoted, twisting and rolling to a kneeling position behind the table, lined up the nearest Sarufi war-bot and opened fire, letting loose a hail of blaster bolts on the assumption that it had an energy shield that would absorb one or two hits, "Sho!" she called at the strange little gremlin who was charging around like an imp on amphetamines, "Try to disable one, but keep it intact! We need one of those war-bots for later."

Realising she was probably going to be a target, Thanica left it at that, ducking and running, in a crouch to another piece of cover, drawing closer to Mihal and Carter.

Sshalah
The Bath House

Sshalah sat, tail along her side, a leg out and the other close to her at the edge of the pool letting the oil dry on her scales. She stood, feeling relaxed and invigorated, before walking along the now fuller pool towards the locker where she retrieved her suit oblivious to the struggle taking place at the Casino. After dressing she made her way to the counter where towels, soaps, and more where sold and knelt for the convenience of the clerk; "How much do I owe you?" she asked. The clerk pressed some buttons on a touch screen before responding; "5628 credits." Sshalah's eyes narrowed and jaw dropped angerly; "You are mistaken, I did not pay for a private bath." she said. The clerk's shoulders lowered, "No, you ordered oil and cream- a whole tub of cream- that's 84 pounds. That's 3360." Sshalah glared, "That's outrageous, how does anyone afford those prices!" The clerk had a look of 'please don't let this be my last day' as they tried to explain; "Most of our bathers are not using that much, what they use is typically less then a pound. It's quite affordable to them." Sshalah huffed a bit, but took a few breaths before saying in a low voice, "I can't afford that."

Sshalah no longer had her suit, not that it really mattered. She didn't have the money to buy new clothes either. Again, much like the bathhouse it wasn't a concern to her- but explaining the lack of what she was suppose to purchase was. That's when she noticed what got her rushing (much to the denizen's woe) towards the Casino.

"Sorry but, I do not have any painkillers and I do not know where the doc keeps them". Novo spoke in a relaxed tone and got a good look at Daharr with his cybernetic eyes. "His eyes, why are they like that cause that does not seem normal", Novo thought. "Maybe they were modified in a way or something, and what happened to his teeth? He saw the broken and missing teeth in his smile. Now that Daharr was up and stable, now was the time that Novo could sate his curiosity. "So Daharr now that I know your name and you are up, what happened at the bar that you need painkillers? I see you are holding your head, you get into a fight and get drunk?

Captain Nathan Taylor Carter
Pleasure Heaven

Carter had been able to avoid the sudden volley of fire just barely, jumping out of the way he found himself on the ground at the opposite side of the room to where Thanica would be and taking cover on a fallen table with other casino players and employees hiding out who simply looked at him with uncertainty and fear. At first Carter struggled to take in what was going on, his vision was blurry and he looked to his arm to see it had catched fire, thank God for his armor which protected him Carter put out the light flame. The Human wiped his visor off the ash and dust from the explosion as he took light breaths and began to regain his conscious.

While he tried to get his bearings back, Carter heard a few words coming from a familiar voice.

“This guy will give us what we need if we help him... expel the other guy.”

He could only make out a few words after that as suddenly a fight broke out between robots on the side of what seemed to be a member of Yare’s very own species, and the Kalisi mercenaries and robots who worked for the Grandmaster. Yells and bolts of blaster fire began as people began to run away and scattered all around, Carter trying to spot Thanica, Mihal and the others as he finally unholstered his own blaster pistol, though he was nervous he would not leave without his companions.

Out of nowhere a relatively small and furry creature interjected in the fight, taking out several robots through bites, slash, and other means. The creature’s courage borderlined on stupidity which impressed Carter, he then noticed as it talked towards someone, it was Thanica who had been protected by Yare of all people. It seemed indeed the crew was protecting each other, he was glad they seemed okay.

Mihal on the other hand was bleeding from the head.

Thanica responded from another side of the room, busy trying to ready herself for battle.
"I'm safe!" Thanica seemed to have regained her composure fairly quickly, "And keep the blaster Mihal, I collected mine from the table before the game started, and I still have my derringer."

Carter however noticed Mihal was in no position to really fight as he seemed more under shell shock than conscious at all.

“He’s gonna get killed!” Carter said under his breath as he checked his blaster, he then looked back at the fight, Thanica was safe but Mihal needed help and quick. It was time for him to stop cowering and help his few comrades in this galaxy.

“Mihal! Take cover!” Carter yelled as he suddenly stood up from his cover and fired rapidly at the robots belonging to Kralmon-Lokar, taking two of them by complete surprise he riddled them with rapid blaster fire as he sprinted from across the room and towards Mihal. With little hesitation the human leaped towards where Mihal was covering at, still shooting at the robots without stopping until falling back on the floor.

Thanica was also firing her own blaster which provided Carter with much needed covering fire as he rapidly crawled towards the bleeding Kiellar. He jilted to Mihal and grabbed him by the shoulders and dragged him down on the floor to better cover behind several set of couches and tabletops.

“Stay down buddy, I got you,” He said to Mihal as he ripped a piece of cloth a fallen coat and applied it on the Kiellar’s head wound to stop the bleeding. He then noticed Thanica who had yelled out to the small furry creature still ripping robots apart like a mad man.

“Thanica, I’ll cover you!” Carter yelled out as he rose from cover, now armed with his blaster rifle, he aimed and pulled the trigger and the weapon let out an even more power blaster charge which took out a robot before the others began firing towards Carter who fired a few more rounds before taking cover yet again. He hoped Thanica had taken advantage of the covering fire, this whole situation had taken a very sudden and deadly turn, but it was until now that Carter realized it, he was starting to warm up to this Galaxy which was rather hilarious given where he’d found himself at now.

The Great Devourer

The Sarufi crime lord laughed maniacally as he stalked the place like a true predator, his razor sharp teeth bared and glistening in flouride. As he continued, Yp challenged him to a duel, which was something that Kralmon-Lokar had little time and motivation for. "I don't have time to waste with you, Kel-Resh.", the red coated Sarufi said as he flapped his wings and flew up, hovering at least ten feet from the ground. "If you stand between me and my prizes, then I I will have to deal with you with my own way."

In a moment's notice, he telekinetically took hold of the blades of several fallen warbots, and threw them with great force towards the annoying Kel-Resh. They would strike the ground as the Kel-Resh (probably) dodged, sinking deep into the wooden planks as the superheated swords sank their teeth into the waxed flooring. He then turned his attention at Sho, and discharged a fireball at him, this time a faster and smaller one as he breathed out multiple bolts of flame in a small timeframe. Should anyone attempt to shoot at Kralmon, the shots would dissipate in an energy shield, which seemed to be able to absorb quite a good amount of shots.

Looking at her kinsman, Yare turned to Thanica. "Kralmon-Lokar is no ordinary Sarufi. Few of us have the telekinetic power to be able to lift more than two or three heavy objects at once. He must have been a Technomancer, at least before he was exiled from his own migrant fleet, I assume. That also explains the sheer amount of cybernetics and the shields that he has..." She then shuddered a bit before continuing. "That explains why he has so many robots under his thrall as well. However, he does have one weakness: EMP, but we don't have that in the moment..."

Meanwhile, Kaleso insufferably knelt besides Azar, keeping in cover from the blaster bolts flying from the Sarufi"s mechanical minions. "I care not if you live or die, but the times call for your life to be saved.", the Jokari pirate said to the crime lord as Kaleso discharged an energy lance with a lance cannon that he took from a fallen Jokari warbot, the beam striking a Sarufi robot's shields before overwhelming it completely, piercing a burning hole into the machine's chest. "To be fair, you did an excellent job sticking with standard procedures in making them.", Kaleso said with a hint of sarcasm as he lashed out his starblade at full power, cutting another robot in half just as it came too close to the table they were taking cover in.

At this, Azar looked over at Thanica. "We can, uh, sort out our deal after this. Assuming that we are still alive by then..."

Mihal

Mihal winced as he propped himself up behind one of the couches. "Vadon's fury, my head hurts," The Keil muttered as he rubbed the bruise that was slowly forming on the back of his head.

Looking at Carter, Mihal tried to focus on the blurred armored figure next to him, but even the light alone seemed to sting. The noise was even worse as the piercing screams, the bellowing shouting, and the sharp blaster fire all formed one painful cacophony that relentlessly throbbed as furiously it bounced around the Kiel's aching head.

A barrage of shots flew overhead the couch, forcing a yelp out of Mihal as the panic finally gripped the civilian. "Ixrasil, Taella, Iohr, Oais, Vixelia," He stammered off between rapid breaths as he began to rock slowly, "don't let me die here! Gods, let us survive this!"

Pleasure Heaven

So, you want to play like this

Yp said to the Sarufi brain. He then jumped over to a nearest robot with a blaster and ripped it out of the robots arms, killing the robot while he had the chance and started to fire at Kralmon while dodging everything he threw at him. It was frustrating seeing his every shot just bounce off Kralmon's shield, so he screamed again to his mind

Play fair, on Reshi you would be executed for such thing

While Carter was doing okay, Mihal seemed to freak out. As Y'Trh'dçy promised, he will get him out, he got to his cover, shots reflecting of his back carapace, he grabbed Mihal and put him in a position that, for us, mother's carry their newborn children, thus sheltering him from every shot.

He ran with him towards the exit, when he was outside the casino he put Mihal on ground and decided to return, seeing as Kralmon was flying at a height that wasn't even over his own. He tried to approach Kralmon from the back and grab his tail if he was to grab his tail, he will slam him on the ground trying to knock him out.

Mihal

"Wait..." He quietly muttered as he picked himself up. It was too late, the beetle-thing had already returned to the fight. Looking at his reflection on the glass, he only now noticed how bloody he was. He had rubbed blood from the cut, which he still had no idea how far it ran, practically all over the right side of his face. Additionally, the blood had run onto his white jacket and shirt, smirching them both with speckles and lines of red.

His only other instinct was to run back to the Defiance and get word of the fight out to everyone there. Following that instinct, he ran, at least as best, as he could through the prominence praying to the various gods that he would run into anybody from the defiance in the labyrinth of assorted levels and halls of the Pleasure Haven.

With Sshalah already on her way to the Casino Royal, Mihal ran into her much sooner than he expected on his run to the defiance. Although he did have to do double-take at the bare scaled Ragon before recognizing it was her.

"A fight has broken out, Casino Royal! We need muscle and surprise against the Sarufi. Go now!"

He didn't wait for her replay as he continued running towards the defiance as fast as he could.

By the time he had gotten there, his sprint had turned him into a panting, stumbling mess. Hearing his own vigorous heartbeat didn't help the throbbing, but he carried on to the bridge and sat in the pilot's seat. After a moment of very dazed though, he grabbed the microphone for the intercom.

"Attention, a fight has broken out in the Casino Royal. Several of the crew are already there, but help is needed. If anyone can go, grab something from the armory and get there as fast as you can."

With his duty done, Mihal slowly stumbled his way down the two decks as he fought for breath. As he trudged into the med-bay, he wasn't expecting to find another Kiel sleeping off something, but found an empty bed. Laying down, he gave his eyes a rest from the accursed light and soon found himself asleep as the adrenaline high gradually wore off.

Much to her surprise, and despite the fact that the sarufi had initially burst into the room declaring it was going to eat her, both he and his robotic minions seemed to have lost interest in Thanica. She waved at the flying creature - it was impossible to miss, "Concentrate fire on the flying one. Keep hitting him and the shield will falter." she assured Carter, switching her aim to Kralmon-Lokar and letting off a rapid volley of energy bolts.

Sooner or later everything broke. You just had to apply enough pressure... of course that was when the friggin' beetle creature decided to blunder into the firing line... Thanica let out a stream of particularly creative invective, then diving over towards where Carter was holed up,scooting in next to him. Things weren't exactly going badly, but they weren't going well either, "Captain Carter, I think we need a bigger gun. What do you say I lure the sarufi out onto the promenade and you grab the biggest piece of hardware you can off the nearest weapon store and try to put a hole in him? Figured the vendors won't kick up too much of a stink when there's a homicidal lizard on the promenade."

Half a torso and arm of a bot was suddenly flying through the air as a sound like a roar sounded. "SARUFI!" The cry of the bare scaled Ragon Sshalah could have reverberated through the walls of this place. The floor was littered with demolished bots, the Ragon would have seemed to have barged in out of no where, in her other hand was another bit of demolished machine, her tail holding a blade like weapon from one of the fallen machines. She threw the other machine bit at the crimelord, completely unaware of who she was fighting and not having yet made out the others. Where was Thanica, where was the Carter? Mihal had been with both when he left. But that was as far as her thoughts where right now on other matters then this fight. There was time for other matters after this- much time.

Captain Nathan Taylor Carter
Shopping District, Pleasure Heaven.

The firefight raged on, Carter still trying to provide Thanica with covering fire, taking out a few more of the Safuri’s warbots. It was complete chaos and as Carter took cover to check his weapons ammunition count, the beetle-like alien had taken Mihal out of the battle. With Mihal out of danger Carter was in much relief as he kept shooting, within his helmet he was heavily sweating and gritting his teeth as he pulled the trigger of his rifle and the pushback from the blaster fire made him hold onto his weapon even tighter.

As the firefight continued and Carter and the others kept fighting Thanica then called out.

She waved at the flying creature - it was impossible to miss, "Concentrate fire on the flying one. Keep hitting him and the shield will falter." she assured Carter, switching her aim to Kralmon-Lokar and letting off a rapid volley of energy bolts.

Carter immediately switched his aim towards the flying Safuri and fired, blaster fire hitting Kralmon-Lokar’s shield which began to lightly falter as he and the others fired at it. However, Carter’s rifle finally burnt out its ammunition which sent Carter back to cover as bolts of energy were fired at him by the enemy warbots. The human began trying to look for ammunition in his pouches though he scrambled and was slow to find another energy cartridge as a few of the warbots began to approach his position, armed and ready.

Finally after a few seconds Carter found a fresh cartridge and loaded up on his rifle and racked the bolt and turned to find several warbots aiming their energy weapons at him and ready to fire. Carter would’ve been taken by surprise had it not been for Thanica’s sudden interjection as she fired a few shots at the robots which gave Carter enough of a distraction to fill the machines with rapid energy bolts until they were finally destroyed.

Carter was glad to see Thanica as he let out a breath from within his helmet, the Dhasath then gave a rather smart idea.

"Captain Carter, I think we need a bigger gun. What do you say I lure the sarufi out onto the promenade and you grab the biggest piece of hardware you can off the nearest weapon store and try to put a hole in him? Figured the vendors won't kick up too much of a stink when there's a homicidal lizard on the promenade.”

Carter peeked a bit out to see Sshalash had arrived to the battle, wrecking warbots like they were paper. He then remembered he had spotted quite a few weapon stores around the promenade leading to the playing hall, he was sure they would have some decent firepower, and given that their blasters were not doing much to the Safuri’s shields they’d need it.

“Good idea, commander!” Carter answered as he raised his rifle and readied up, he then noticed Sshalash throwing destroyed warbots in random directions, including where Azar and Kaleso were.

“Lets do it now before she kills us all in a fit of rage…” Carter jokingly remarked, “I’ll be rigth behind you, I’ll get something with kick don’t you worry!” He gave a thumbs up as he readied to execute Thanica’s bold plan.

"Sshalah!" Thanica yelled above the carnage. She was winging it a bit now, but if she could convince the Sarufi that he was about to lose his catch to another predator or trader then there was a solid chance he'd do something rash and give chase, "No time to explain, just try to grab me."

She bolted then, running at a crouch in the direction of the door, ducking, diving and switching directions. Compared to most of the creatures in the room, Thanica was small, nimble and unimpeded by any heavy gear; with plenty of space to manoeuvre and a lot of obstacles she was extremely difficult to lay a claw on. She spun as she got to the entrance, "Get away from me!" she yelled at the top of her lungs, hoping that would draw the Sarufi's attention, then bolted down the promenade.

Sho'chavuk

Amidst the chaos, it was a miracle that Thanica's voice carried over to Sho'chavuk, who was now on the second level of the casino. Numerous warbots had followed him up there, and though they were skillful, they simply couldn't match the Tz'ath's savagery. After throwing a heavily damaged warbot at a row of three others, he ran up to the banisters and pulled himself halfway over. "Captain!" he yelled, waving his arms so that Thanica would notice. "I heard you! I heard you and I will do that. Yes, yes. Right away!" Of course in doing this, he attracted the attention of some other warbots as well, and they promptly stopped what they were doing to accommodate him.

"Ah! Perfect. You're exactly what I need to complete this task." Sho said, cracking his knuckles as a visibly aged Jokari warbot jumped up and landed on the railings, denting them slightly. It darted forward with incredible speed, catching Sho a little bit off guard, but otherwise doing no damage. It then grabbed the Tz'ath by his midsection and tried to crush him, to which it responded with curses. "Ah! Not so much, you slag!" he barked, then successfully pried the warbot's fingers apart, dropping to the floor just as its sword swung over its fist.

Sho checked his ears, antennae, and hair before scoffing at warbot. "HA! YOU MISSED!" he said in a deliberately annoying tone while pointing. In reply, the warbot struck at Sho'chavuk, seeing that he was too busy laughing. But it turns out that it was nothing but a ruse, and Sho needed only to step aside for him to slink around the warbot's arm and then up to its torso. And as per usual, the warbot's response is to try and swat him away, but Sho was extra determined this time- His Captain had given him a direct order! -And thus it was much harder for the warbot to catch him, even though it was a veteran of sorts.

Suddenly, the warbot stood still, allowing its nearby comrades to help grab Sho'chavuk, but all they got from that were lost limbs as Sho bit them, or they were flung in various directions as he grabbed them. Eventually, Sho was sure enough about how to stop the warbot moving, and he moved up to its back to test his theory. "Right. Here goes!" he said to no one in particular before punching through the warbot's armor, grasping around for its core, and then tearing it out. He closed his eyes for a second, awaiting a large explosion, but when it didn't come and the warbot dropped to its knees, he jumped onto its head and held the core into the air.

"I GOT IT! YAHAHAHA!" he yelled, showing it off to the other warbots, who now responded to him with increased aggression. They failed to land most hits on him as he was too small and too fast. And though they were much larger, they couldn't handle his strength. All the fighting seemed to be making him much more focused as well, and he dispatched them with ease. This seemed to attract the attention of Kralmon Lokar, who fired several blasts of flame at him.

At that moment, Sho had just downed the last of the warbots who were attacking him, and was taking a moment to breath. So he wasn't ready for the first and second shots from the Devourer. They hit him in the side, with the first one causing him to stumble and the second one launching him into a nearby wall. Now slightly dazed, Sho sat there for a few minutes, letting the fog clear from his mind. What in Khelba hit me just now..? he thought, wincing as he touched the side of his head. A few furs were singed, but there was no further damage.

Pulling himself out of the hole in the wall, Sho noticed that there hadn't been just two fireballs, but several more, and they had created smoldering openings in the walls to his left and right. "Oh dear." he muttered to himself, waving his hand through the smoke. Once it was gone, the first figure he saw was that of Kralmon Lokar. He was just about to run and pounce at the draconic creature, but something flew past it, causing Sho to stop. As stealthily as he could, he then moved to the edge, having heard a familiar voice. It was the kit-snatcher! And.. Well.. Sho decided to watch for a moment to see what she'd do, but the Captain had given an order and started running. Something about grabbing, she'd said.

"Wha- Where is she going?!" Sho scoffed to himself, deciding he'd follow her. He was a bit confused as to who she was addressing, and almost forgot to take the warbot with him. He returned for it before leaving through an upper level window, the warbot's remains held high over his head.

Captain Nathan Taylor Carter
Shopping District, Pleasure Heaven.

Thanica had wasted no time as she quickly went out into the open and with a swiftness and agility that Carter had never seen before, he had barely even noticed she was already on her way to serve as a distraction until she was already near the exit. She called out for Sshalah as she continued moving out towards the exit and began to act scared and as if she were a frightened little Dhasath running from a hungry Ragon. Carter was quick to figure out what the Dhasath was doing, he vaulted over his cover and strapping his rifle over his back he ran towards the exit, his bulky armor and gear slowed him down a bit but he was able to get past the robots who were busy with Sho as the little critter kept being a rather useful nuisance.

Thank God for that little bastard…

As Carter headed towards the exit he jumped over the destroyed corpses of warbots as well as even using his boot to squash one who was still active right in the head. Sho too headed towards the outside into the promenade, Carter sprinted out into the main walkway and stopped for a few seconds as he scanned the area for that weapon’s shop he had seen earlier, Where was it dammit! he thought to himself as he tried to avoid the commotion happening around him.

Then he spotted it, a store unit with the front sign spelling “Bingiu’s Arms Emporium” which made Carter give a smile within his helmet and say, “Bingo!” and with no time to waste he headed to the store, still avoiding the mayhem that was ensuing. He hoped Thanica and Sshalah could keep up the facade for a while until he found some decent firepower.

Arriving to the storefront Carter kicked opened the door, as he entered the store he quickly found himself with a double barrelled blaster aimed at him by a strange white skinned four armed alien with a large covered up head and tow dark eyes sticking out of the scarf. This was Bingui, the owner of the business and a rather short tempered Khuutai willing to defend her business without hesitation.

“Who Krableras are you! Get out of me store before I blast ye!” The Khuutai yelled out from behind a large counter in the middle of the store, the businesses walls, windows, and every other direction one would see was covered with guns, weapons, and other gadgets of unknown use, it was quite a sight but Carter had not time for that.

Carter raised both hands as a sign that he meant no harm, “Listen, there’s a situation out there and I need some serious firepower!”

The four armed alien then clicked on a bottom of her blaster, letting a racking-like sound and a beeping sound that seemed to imply she was ready to shoot Carter. “I won’t tell ya twice you Jullkibecker!”

Carter gulped as he clenched his lips and began thinking of something, anything he could say that would help him. He then got an idea.

“I work for the Grandmaster!” He yelled out, his voice now deepening and showing a ruggish mannerism, trying to show he was serious as best as he could.

The alien then lowered its blaster a bit while looking at Carter with curious eyes.

“And he’s out there right now dealing with a flying, fire breathing lizard and a Ragon that will destroy everything and anyone in their path, including this store!”

Carter’s statement made Bingui use one of her hands to switch on the counter’s monitors to indeed reveal a large Ragon chasing a frightened Dhasath, a small Tza'th rambing around like a madman, several warbots, and other beings and most worrisome a Safuri, but not just any Safuri, but Kralmon-Lokar, one of the most bloodthirsty bosses of the station and if Azar died by his hand Lokar was sure to take over the station which would ruin Bingui’s particularly lucrative deals with the Jokari boss.

“Fine, that changes things.” The Khuutai then turned a switch on her counter which then revealed several hidden stashes of big and deadly looking weapons behind several walls, crates of heavy munition charges, explosives, grenades, mines, battle gauntlets and turbo lasers as well as ship defense systems, and other very likely dangerous weapons abound.

“Wow!” were the only words Carter could muster as stood silently looking at all these weapons.

“Yeah, yeah, impressive I know. Now don’t you be going around telling people about this, Konkara and I have an agreement and I’d like to keep it that way. Now take what you need and stop wasting time!” The Khuutai said with a breath of annoyance that Carter was still in her store.

Carter came back to reality, “Uhmmm, yeah, yeah… Now lets see here…” Carter approached the caches of racked and plated weapons on the wall. He looked on with unsureness of what to pick until he spotted the largest looking weapon on the wall, it looked not unlike a rocket launcher and it was almost as big as he was, he grabbed it by the firing grip and right off the wall he set it on his shoulder, it was not as heavy as it looked and he could actually muster it well much to his surprise.

“That should show that Safuri son of a bitch who’s boss!” Bingui said with delight as she approached the weapon cache and she began scrambling and grabbing several pieces of weaponry and ammunition with her four arms until finding what she was looking for.

“Aha! Take this!” Bingui said as she threw a large black cylinder to Carter, he promptly catched it and looked at it with oddness.

“The Kiellari tenth generation High Resonance Energy Expulser-780, its not as advanced as the most recent one but it will breakthrough that Safuri’s shield like its nothing!” she paused as she kept scrambling on the crates until again finding another cylinder, “I only have that charging cycle and a backup,” she again threw another cylinder to Carter as he loaded the first one inside the weapon’s charging lock, he then catched the second one.

“So don’t waste it! And tell Konkara he owes me, Now get out and do your job!” Bingui then took Carter by his shoulders and pulled him towards the door and pushed the startled human out with no care.

Carter looked at the second cylinder on his hand and at the expulser, then back at the sight of Thanica running away from Sshalash and the Safuri.

“Alright, time to use this bad boy!” Carter murmured to himself as he sprinted down the promenade towards the site of battle. Mustering the expulsor in his right shoulder he approached the sight of battle and taking a nice spot a few meters away he took a knee and readied into a position similar to that he’d take if firing any rocket launcher back on Earth, he tried to take aim but his helmet kept obstructing his sight, “Come on, don’t do this to me now, fuck!”

Spotting his fellow commander and crew memebers Carter yelled out of the top of his lung, “THANICA, SSHALAH, TAKE COVER!” he then removed his helmet to reveal his human, bearded face and took aim towards the flying Safuri, the expulsor then automatically ejected a HUD scope on its side right on Carter’s sight as it targeted Kralmon-Lokar, a few words on the HUD spelling “Target Acquired,” and then “Fire When Ready.” And Carter happily obliged as he pulled the trigger.

“SMILE YOU SON OF A-”

A large and powerful red blast came out of the expulsor’s cannon, which directed itself towards Kralmon-Lokar, hitting right to his shields which let out an enormous wave of energy as it began to pierce the shield. Carter had been taken completely shaken and taken by surprised at the sudden and awesome power of the expulsor but he did not cease as he pulled the trigger once more again letting out another powerful and explosive blast which again hit the Safuri’s shields and began to penetrate even more. Carter fired again, and again until the shields were completely gone, he then fired one last shot right towards Kralmon-Lokar, he’d be lucky to survive it.

Sshalah was behind a pillar in the casino, her back towards it as Carter fired repeatedly at Kralmon-Lokar. She had almost been too distracted laughing after finally 'catching' Thanica but such was cut a bit short as events propelled her to break role at Carter's words. She now had had Thanica, about 3 meters in the air held close to her chest- arms free- in on of her hands. Sshalah couldn't possibly tell what must have been going through Thanica's mind when she was actually grab, let alone when Sshalah started laughing but that didn't matter right now. Right now Sshalah's tail was loosly about her ankles to be behind the pillar, the blade having been dropped during the chase- her bare form pressed against the pillar. As the final shot was fired, Sshalah leaned to the the side, and looked over her shoulder behind the pillar- Thanica still against her chest.

Daharr would chuckle softly at the rather plain question posed by Novo but would answer it in a rather hostile tone. "God damn, your like a modern day detective? How did you figure that one out? Was it the missing teeth or maybe the hangover?". Daharr is stopped once again by his headache but decides to force himself out of the bed. He looks over towards Nova again, nods, then proceeds to walk out of the med bay towards the mess hall. He ignores everyone he passes despite the fact most of them look at him as if he is ghost passing through the hallways of the ships. He eventually reaches the mess hall and immediately heads for the storage room where he finds some low quality alcohol. He opens the bottle and downs it in a single swig before walking back out into the mess hall not sure whether or not anyone had followed him except Novo.

Cridrac of Garbrann

Bridge of the Defiance

Cridrac had been posted at the airlock of the docking station. He was a guard after all. One creature had asked him why a Kiel in Kiellar armor was standing guard outside of a Kiellar ship. His response had been a mixed concoction of hostility and mystery, something which led to the creatures hasty retreat. Others would come and go, although they were sure to keep their distance.

Bingellia wrote:
Mihal

By the time he had gotten there, his sprint had turned him into a panting, stumbling mess. Hearing his own vigorous heartbeat didn't help the throbbing, but he carried on to the bridge and sat in the pilot's seat. After a moment of very dazed though, he grabbed the microphone for the intercom.

"Attention, a fight has broken out in the Casino Royal. Several of the crew are already there, but help is needed. If anyone can go, grab something from the armory and get there as fast as you can."

It was odd to receive an optional command for once. However, Cridrac was a guard, not a marine. Cridrac swiveled about, re-entering the ship at the pace of a fast-march. Activating his bionic cochlear implant's communicative features allowed him to contact his "friends."

Mothlua of Vubhe

Crew Quarters

She had just completed the third chapter of Basics in Bio-metric Data, enjoying the ability to have spare time to read again. When the Defiance had become stocked with prisoners her superiors were forced to cut everyone's off-duty time to the minimal sleeping requirement dictated by the Kiellar Command. She flinched when Cridrac's communication broke through, most likely at a higher volume than intended.

"All former members of Kiellar Command, this is Cridrac. The captains are in immediate danger. Meet me at the top deck's stairwell hub."
She got the coordinates, what she didn't have was the motivation.
"I repeat. All members, move NOW."

After 180 seconds she had donned her armor, equipped her energy-weapon, and left her quarters. As she reached the top-deck, she noticed the other two had already reported to Cridrac. They were Kiellar marines, two biological twins who managed either by pulling a'lot of strings or quantum fate to be appointed for the same mission. They gave her a nod of acknowledgement, standard Kiellar procedure for a Kiel of equal rank.

"Listen closely. I don't have very many details. The captains are endangered at the Casino Royale. You are only to offer support outside of the establishment. Rodu, you are with Mothlua. Both of you, take positions outside of the Casino, don't fire unless fired upon. If you see any of the captains, shoot anything shooting at them.

"What if they are shooting at each other?" Rodu couldn't resist the opportunity to expose this flaw-ridden plan. Her brother, Vandul, tried to cover up a laugh with a cough, which only made the spectacle worse.

"This isn't the time, Rodu. Vandul, close it. You three ready for this?"
Three affirmations led to the quartet breaking off in pairs, two clearing the docking bay while the other two rushed for the designated gambling area.

Sshalah wasn't sure what was going on, But she now was able to gather that this Sarufi was after Thanica, as expected. This moment posed for the Ragon a question of how to proceed- but the quickest one was to gradually make her way towards where Thanica was presently. Slow, lumbering- not to attract attention but enough so that she could keep an eye on Thanica, to see if she was hurt, while also providing a target. It wasn't what Thanica wanted out of this, but Sshalah was here- at this fight- she was going to become a target if she wasn't already after throwing those bot parts at the Sarufi.

"Wait, wha-" Thanica managed before she was suddenly sailing through the air in the direction of one of the promenade's public benches. This was not going according to plan! The bench seemed to rise up to meet her, which was the last thing she remembered before waking up.

For everyone else, Thanica went into the bench head-first with an unpleasant crunching noise, immediately going limp as she sprawled across it, unmoving. Her plan had been to make it look like Kralmon-Lokar had a competitor for her capture in Sshalah, and while she hadn't actually anticipated being captured, the most recent action had probably looked a lot like the reaction to Thanica doing something violent, like producing a knife and, to an outsider, probably looked like Sshalah had deliberately stunned her.

For anyone worried about her, she didn't stay unmoving for long. Thanica groaned, pushing herself up to her hands and knees, then seemed to lose coordination and fall straight back down again. She wasn't dead and it didn't look like she hadn't broken anything, but she had taken a heavy blow to the head and wasn't going to be much use for a while.

The Sarufi Devourer and former Technomancer winced and grimaced as the beam slammed against the shield that has kept him protected from all manners of small arms fire. The otherwise invisible blue hexagons shuddered as the beams of the expulsor clashed against them, while the bewildered Kralmon-Lokar looked for the source of that annoyance. His blue eyes scanned the area, checking at the trajectory of the red blasts just as one last one shattered his shield completely, but he spotted the armored human wielding the huge gun. He was wearing a Kiellar marine armor that had its Kiellar Command insignias scrubbed off, and it was a very distinct sight to look at. Just as a would-be fatal pillar of red plasma exploded from the barrel of the expulsor, Kralmon-Lokar drooped down to the floor, avoiding getting hit as the beam destroyed two chandeliers in quick succession, and eventually hit a large portrait of Azar Konkara that had him in a stately pose, burning it to nothing more than smoldering cinders before leaving an ugly burn mark on the wall.

The Devourer landed on his feet, and with the communication device implanted in his brain, called upon his nearest mechanical warriors to protect him with their shields. Four of the robed machines rushed to his side, activating an active group shield that negated all incoming fire. Blaster bolts pelted the blue hexagons to no avail, and the Devourer cackled from within.

“How annoying.”, he said as he turned towards Carter as he telekinetically took hold of two beam lances from fallen Jokari warbots, aiming one straight at Carter while another was aimed towards Sshalah. “You challenge the Devourer of Akaron, the Sixth Technomancer of the Sixteenth Migrant Fleet. You’d think that-“

Kralmon-Lokar was interrupted by the sound of dozens of blasters going off at once, resulting in a hail of energetic bolts slamming against the shield that his machine had conjured. He would turn to see a member of his own species, Yare-Lokem. However, the other Sarufi said nothing as she breathed a stream of flame at Kralmon-Lokar, causing him to lose focus on the two lance cannons that he was holding at two different directions. This resulted in him opening fire, but the distraction was enough for him to miss, but the beams were dangerous indeed. One would go right over Carter’s head, and he would feel the heat of the beam as it cleanly cut a hole through two pillars before being stopped by an energy shield on the wall that was always present to prevent any energy weapons from causing damage to any vital systems in the station. The other streamed past Sshalah before hitting a statue, melting its entire head away to a hot pool of grey goo.

“What a bother.”, Kralmon-Lokar said as he pointed his face at Yp, and then Yare. “You want a fight? No, I won’t give you a fair one. I only seek Azar’s head and your Dhasath pet.” Speaking of Dhasath, he would then direct other warbots to search for Thanica in the immediate area near the exit of the Casino Royale. “You can all just go and forget this, unless if you want to be one someone’s plate by tomorrow.”

“Let’s just say we are defending our Commander from your consumption.”, Yare said in reply as she used her mind to take hold of two swords lying on the ground. “This will only end if you concede or if you die.”

“Same goes for you.”, Kralmon said as he wordlessly dispatched his warbots to attack in groups of three, one group for Yp and one for Carter, while he dueled Yare in close quarters combat, using their claws and their telekinetic blades to fight. However, it seemed that nothing serious could happen to either of them; they were too evenly matched.

As all of this transpired, Kaleso was keeping Azar hidden and covered behind an overturned table. “I bet you will make a great couple.”, Kaleso said sarcastically to Azar as all attention was drawn towards searching for the Dhasath and to removing the annoyances that Kralmon-Lokar finally deemed worthy of his attention. “And here comes another one.”, Kaleso whispered as he whipped another warbot, dragging it before activating his starblade’s full power, cutting it in half from head to groin. “So, I have to get you out of here without using you as a shield...”, he said almost nonchalantly as he looked around. “Stay.”, he told Azar as he gave the crime lord the defeated warbot’s sword and a blaster. “It seems I have to do something to keep the heat off a friend. Oh well.”, he said as he ignited his starblade before flying unto the air, soaring high before dropping down like a hawk trained towards its prey. Kralmon parried Kaleso’s starblade with one of the telekinetically controlled swords he wielded, while parrying and dodging Yare’s own attacks. “I am just tired of slaughter houses, you know?”, he said as he fought as if a fight like this was something he always did... which was something he often did. “I thought that I have struck a good deal by coming in at this time... but you sure make things interesting.” He said with a manic smile. “Long have I longed for battle!”

Warbots? He unloaded a barrage from the stolen rifle into one of them making it stop dead in its tracks and falling over. Two left, he reloaded and fired a second barrage into one of two robots, it hit, but the robot did not stop moving yet, two of them were still charging at him, he took last chance guess and figure out if Kralmon was killed the robots would stop, he had the time to fire once more, and he did, this time for Kralmon. When the last projectile came from the rifle, he threw it to the floor and prepared to defend
