Star Wars: All that Remains

It has been five years since the collapse of the Eternal Alliance and the bloody war between the Republic and the Sith Empire has ended. Without their powerful assets the Gravestone and the Eternal Fleet, The Alliance combined with many leaving the group after its goal of disposing of Emperor Arcann of the Eternal Empire was finished. The nail in the coffin for the Alliance was the loss of the Outlander, the leader of the Alliance who was killed during the war between the Republic and the Sith Empire. Without him, the Alliance would not last and later faded away while war consumed the galaxy. Both sides took heavy losses and the war ended in a draw. A tenuous peace was made but after five years of peace, it looks like another war is on the horizon.

During which the Jedi suffered an unfortunate fate. They took heavy losses during the war against the Eternal Empire and were scattered to the wind. They tried to regroup and rebuild the order on Ossus but, the Sith discovered the Jedi and even with Republic support the Jedi took loses. Now with so few Jedi left and being hunted by the Sith, the fate of the Jedi looks grim. The rest of the Jedi have gone into hiding and are scattered throughout the galaxy. However, a small group has come together and managed to find shelter on Rishi, a tropical planet that is a haven for criminals. Though the group's goals at the moment are surviving, perhaps these Jedi are the key to restoring the Jedi Order and may attempt to rebuild the order. If they survive long enough to do so and not draw the Sith to their doorstep.

Overview:

The rp is set during the Old Republic Era and is set after the events of the Old Republic MMO which is Legends territory. Everyone will be starting on Rishi and you will have the freedom to determine to how they got there. I will be accepting only two Jedi masters and will they be scrutinized more than the rest. Since this is using Legends lore, you are free to make your jedi however you like as long as it makes sense and with any lightsaber. The goal of the rp is to survive and eventually rebuild the Jedi order which will not be an easy task.

Hmmm okay, things you should know is that the Eternal Alliance was not against the Republic or the Sith Empire, more they were neutral and were only really agnaist the Eternal Empire back with they were a resistance group. after losing manpower and their greatest assets. They were forced to pick a side in the Republic- Sith War and did not last the war. And they were not a real state but, a military alliance. Also by black hoods, who would they be? I guess they could be a third party that would want to keep the jedi alive.

Thyra was bread a slave girl on the world of Arkania to a world hostile to her very existance. An Arkanian-offshoot, her people's existence was equivalent to that of the Helots of ancient Sparta, being routinely massacred to keep the population in line. Her life would easily have been offed for her more feeble form, if it had not been for one fateful day, when, on a mission to combat the forces of the sith, she was found and taken in by her soon to be master, Karscol Siltem,finding her ran away, starved, her clothes in tatters, and most amazingly, force sensitive. Brought home from such a failed mission she never knew the purpose of, she was raised as his own, soon only knowing him by one name, "father". She was taught basic, and soon forgot the slightest knowledge of Arkanian, having been given a life to live from the grip of death. She was a shy yet smart girl, and while she took to grasp many of the lessons her master soon taught her, her persistent nerves and feeble frame lead her to be less than adept at picking up combat, or using the force. Yet, many more lessons would she learn from her adopted father, as he brought her along with him, teaching her not only what it meant to be a jedi, but what it meant to be a good person, compassion, care, and most of all, a burning determination. But the most shocking event came when she was brought alone by her master to the world of Ilum to create her lightsaber. She had been fourteen and yet many fellow jedi believed her unready, still yet an Initiate and not more due to her tenious connection to the force. Although initially guided like a father to child, she soon found herself engulfed by the darkness around her, and tested, thrown into her memories of wildest fears, of her early childhood, of the massacres. But, with tears in her master's eyes, with incredible pan and fear of her death alone in the catacombs, she emerged days later with a sight that both shocked and confused him- a purple lightsaber, with two blades. Such an unwieldy and hard to use one, neither of them could be sure how or why. When asked about it, she refused to tell Karscol of the event, of her immense bravery deep into the darkness, and how in the face of repeated failures that she was sure was her death eventually emerged with the rare crystal. Her training as a padawan soon followed that of her early years, with a struggle to gain the strength she needed to fight, a battering yet futile determination to try and connect to the force, with some results, yet ultimately lacking for the years she spent. She was brought wherever Karscol would go, which would ultimately lead to his downfall, saving her life by fending off a sith ambush, that ultimately cost him his own.

Left without her master, she would ultimately be sent to a hidden jedi temple, to train with her colleagues and progress as much as she could. Shunned by her fellow padawans, even those of her age, she ultimately became reclusive, and when forced to train with them, fell what felt like a thousand times, her unwieldy lightsaber almost impaling her repeatedly as she desperately attempted to fend off attacks, her fear leading her to take no risks, and miss the timing of a precise strike. But, after bruises, and burns, and broken bones, she would grow stronger, although not nearly close to mastery, she soon found ways to focus her mind, and predict the attacks of her opponents, practicing with her one true friend, Jascon. In one triumphal match, she startled and amazed herself as she soon found herself standing above her dear friend, a foot on his chest, and his lightsaber thrown across the room. This short spurt of confidence would be what she needed to move on, as that very night the sith found their hidden temple, and attacked, destroying it in the progress, and forcing a small team of padawans in their late teens through the various vents, into the tunnels beneath the complex, and ultimately to escape on a cramped and rickety ship. But their adventure would only take them so far, as they crashed upon that fateful planet, Rishi, in the savage wilderness, among hostile fauna and flora alike. Her dearest friend would die in her hands, and one by one, they were picked apart, until Thyra would be the only one left, stumbling dazed, yet sheltered, in the crime ridden city she would eventually call home. There, she would eventually find to her amazement, survivors of this terrible war, and, more pained and broken than ever, would try to piece herself back together- wrought by the sight of so many dead, the ghosts of her past both long and near, appearing before her eyes in the most painful of memories.

Lightsaber: Magenta, double-bladed. Informal Double-bladed combat style.

Equipment: Medical bag, lightsaber, small collection of field manuals, water canteen, medpacks.

Skills: Decent medical skills, force concealment, force speed, limited force sight. Whide knowlage on various planets / species. Determination. Situational awareness.

Weakness: Limited lightsaber combat ability, Poor acrobatic ability, nerves / anxiety, poor socializing skills. Physically weaker.
