This morning, the Führer and Commander in chief of the German Armed Forces, Erwin Rommel proclaimed that the German National People's State is now in existence. In a press conference shortly after, the Führer expressed his guarantee that the Wehrmacht will defend the German nation, and her people from the tyranny that the remnants of the Hitlerite regime is inflicting on our fellow Germans across the Elbe. The German Armed Forces are now making their presence known throughout the current borders of the DNVS and have staged multiple parades thus far, the largest located in the capital, Hannover.

In other news:

-German industry has begun making preparations for war with the National Socialist regime, with an increased emphasis on the construction of medium tanks and automatic infantry weaponry.
-Citizens near the border with the National Socialist remnants have began to prepare with German troops, defences along the border to impede the movement of any potential invading force.
-The 9th Panzer division has been ordered southwards towards the border with North Rhine-Westphalia and is expected to bring the region into the new Germany.

It has been confirmed that forces acting under the orders of the National Socialist regime in Bavaria issued a telegram to the German state threatening its destruction should the government refuse to surrender its sovereignty and the freedom of its people. Consequently the Führer and the free German people have issued their response.

Within hours of receiving the telegram a shock and awe response was issued to members of the Wehrmacht to assault the lines of the National Socialist invaders and to cleanse Germany of them once and for all. So far Free German forces, under the command of Field Marshall Guderian have used tactics applied from the blitzkrieg campaign and Operation Barbarossa during the war in execution of Operation Home Defence. It can be further confirmed that at least one squadron of JU 87's have been deployed to support the operation.

Unity of German Peoples

Today, shall mark the historic moment in which the delegation from the Fourth Reich shall meet up with the government of Brandenburg in order to propose the idea of unifying both of their country in order to form the country of the true German Reich. The delegation shall meet up with the government of Brandenburg and begin to negotiate a deal for the two to unite, a treaty has already been drafted to make it official detailing all things that’ll take place upon unifying.

Furthermore, the new more rebellious German state shall also forcefully be incorporated upon winning the war.

Treaty of German Unification:

I - Wehrwolf Germany and Brandenburg shall unite under a single flag.

II - The new country’s name shall be known as the “Fourth Reich” or “German Reich”.

III - Berlin shall become the capital of the country.

IV - National Socialism shall be the official form of government for the country.

V - Franz Stangl shall step down from their position as leader of Brandenburg, Franz Stangl will be appointed as the second in command of the SS and shall receive 250,000 Marks for their service of the Vaterland.

VI - Joseph Goebbels will be appointed as the Fuhrer of the German Reich.

VII - All Jewish, Slavic, Homosexual, Gypsies, And other Untermensch in Brandenburg shall be stripped of their belongings, property, citizenship, and privilege to be free.

VIII - The Autobahn road system shall be repaired and extended, providing good paying jobs for the German people and allowing for better connection of the two now united states.

IX - The rebellious state of Germany shall be placed under the rule of the Wehrmacht upon annexation, and will be fully incorporated as apart of the German Nation after four years.

X - All government officials underneath the leadership of the rebellious state will be executed for Treason.

XI - No harm shall come across any German civilian in the rebellious state, and they’ll be given aid as to ensure their love and respect for their true rulers.

XII - Any and all rebellions in the rest of Germania shall be quickly and violently put down and defeated by the German Reich.

This is the TNBS, bringing you today’s top stories from across the country.

The rusted hulk of the now TNS Missouri was towed into the Houston shipyard yesterday, and work has already started on restoring her to active service. President Rivers visited the shipyard, and in a symbolic gesture, added her to the naval registry. Meanwhile, a submarine pen Is currently under construction in Corpus Christi, set to be completed next year.

It’s election time in Texas, there are not many who are running against president Rivers, who is widely speculated to win a second term. But one interesting character who is running against him is the Syndicalist, Jack Reed. While everyone is beyond certain that Rivers shall win, it is interesting to see characters like Reed at this time.

Several large sulfur mines were reopened in southern Texas this month, mainly with prodding from Missourian delegates, and as the rail line between Austin and St.Louis is finished, shipments of sulfur will start flowing across the line.

A Gloster Meteor was found at a Canadian airfield during the Texan part of the Canadian expedition. It was transported back to the NAA facility in Santa Fe. Where it was reverse engineered. The experimental T-X47 Diamondback jet aircraft, based upon the Meteor, is currently undergoing test flights to see its potential usefulness in the Texan Air Force. Nevertheless, it is a major step up from the propeller driven P-51s currently in service.

The battle of Kyparissia was the turning point of the reconquest as the last few soldiers of the Warlord surrendered and the Warlord was found dead due to a self-inflicted gun wound. So far, the main focus has been rebuilding of Cities damaged in the invasion and the restoration of order.

The Texan Federation and Ozark Union have signed trade pacts which have resulted in Texan sulfur being shipped to the St. Louis Army Ammunition Plant and the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant in Independence Missouri. In return, the Ozark Union has started shipping nitrocellulose (smokeless powder) to the Texan Federation through Texarkana.

As such, Forrest Smith and the Ozark Congress took action and decided to annex parts of Lousiana to ensure that the Mississippi river stayed open to the sea. A message was sent to the Texas Federation to inform them of what had happened and to ask for potential assistance if issues aroused in the future.

Confederacy of Dixieland

The rise of the south is complete, but weakened. With the new declaration of Dixieland the Ozark Union quickly made an aggressive move into southern territory to capture parts of Louisansa. The Grand Council and the Grand Imperial Wizard quickly had a meeting and concluded that a conflict between the two nations would be too costly to either side. As bad as it was that the Union had made this move it was far more important to unite than to divide at this time. With so much of America in distress, the Grand Council decided it best that operations should be focused on uniting the region as best as possible and improving the lives of white southerners instead. Though this did not mean that diplomatic means couldn't be used to express the...disagreement between the two new nations.


John Hendricks, the Grand Imperial Wizard, quickly made a public statement condemning the move in the capital of Jackson, wearing a simple grey suit and Dixieland pin, his white beard touching his tie, shining in the sun.

" It is with sorrow that the dangers of the old world have come yet again. Even after all the suffering it appears that god's land and people are still not respected. It is an outrage that the Ozark Union has seized territory in Louisana. The land is a confederate territory as such we also lay claim to this land. We do not seek bloodshed with American brothers but Dixieland does not respect their claims. In the interest of peace we say that the Ozark Union remove it's men less it generate more unwanted suffering in the region."

The War Machine Roars

The German Reich, now stretched from the Baltic Sea all the way down to the alps, and it has grown greatly in strength over the years. Old factories and centers for industry have been repaired and expanded upon, as many of Germany’s cities now stand proudly above the rubble as beacons of how the Master Race lives. The economy of Germany has managed to prosper, due to a constant need of rebuilding and manufacturing of weapons as to serve for the war effort.

The High Command and Wehrmacht have put into effect the development of Germany’s tanks as to make them more effective, the Panther II is being planned and prototypes are still in progress of being built. The intention of the Panther II’s is to build off of the success the previous Panther held, and work to make it lighter and faster along with allowing it to be sustained for longer periods of time. So the tanks didn’t frequently break down, it was hoped that if these improvements were successful the Panther II would become the new workhorse of Germany and replace the previous Panzer VI tanks.

Improvements on the Tiger Tanks were also being made, working as to make them overall more reliable and easier to produce as well as attempting to arm them even more. With armor and guns, as to increase its effectively while on the battlefield, a planned Tiger Tank III was being drafted and its intention was to be the elite heavy hitting armored killing machine that would rip through enemy lines and tanks.

But for the Panzer VI’s, it was likely they’d see no further production and the remaining tanks would still be utilized and produced yet when the New Panther IIs and Tiger Tank IIIs roll off the line and prove their worth. Production will gradually phase out, and the Panzer VI’s will either continue seeing some service, be scrapped, shipped off to buyers, put into museums, or possibly converted into other tanks.

The Stug VI also held heavy focus, the Reich already having a large number of the tank killers and since they could so easily be mass produced they were only making more and more to add to the ever growing pile.

Finally, the Luftwaffe was another matter of heavy concern… It was decided that Germany would put more development into fighters, jets, and bombers as to lockdown hold on the skies. Knowing that having control of the sky could allow for them to cripple an enemy with a superior navy, along with it giving them the ability to aid their land forces. Speaking of navy though, the Kriegsmarine worked diligently to try and repair old U-Boats along with arming civilian ships for military purposes to try and build up a somewhat decent fleet to establish an iron grip around the Baltic. From the intelligence they knew, no other significant power held great sway over the sea… Meaning it was something they had to capitalize upon as quickly as possible. Since having control over the Baltic meant they could easily defend Germany’s coastline from more powerful naval forces, therefore securing Germany from a naval invasion by allied forces.

Further military reforms continued, as Germany integrated Brandenburg into its lands once more and made plans for what the future would hold, one primary goal being to find a source of oil for the Reich’s ever growing War Machine.

operation Sealane is put into motion, with texan forces moving in to occupy Trinidad and Puerto Rico, these islands will serve as naval refueling bases to further expeditions into South America and Africa. They will also serve as a way to set up a barrier against hostile forces entering the Gulf of Mexico.

The T-X47 has offically been put into proper service with the Texan Air Force. Due to a lack of a proper manufacturing plant for them, a factory was built in El Paso to start production, and today, the first squadron of T-X47's was created, and moved to the air base In San Juan. More are planned soon as production is ramping up, and as of right now, there are 17 T-X47's currently in service.

The squadron sent to the British Isles has arrived in Plymouth today, and was surprised to see an armed force greet them in harbor. they claimed to be forces of the Imperium of Britain. Upon the sailors mentioning they were from the former United States, they were recieved much more warmly. the Imperium soldiers have requested support in reconquesting the Isles, and currently the senate is at vote on whether to support them. Nevertheless, it is a very good thing to see that Britian has survived.

It was here that Greek scouts reported Italians in centre-Albania, but Greek officials cannot confirm nor deny Italian presence in Albania. Nether-the-less, Parts of Epirus have been reclaimed by Greek forces and rebuilding is on its way.

The Provisional United States continues to expand, further increasing its power and influence in the boundaries of the greatest nation on Earth. The economy continues to expand, with a growing Canada and a growing Texas proving valuable trading partners. The Dow Jones continues to climb, as reconstruction continues unabated. Automobiles are slowly making their way back onto the road, as Texan oil, as well as some from Western Pennsylvania becomes more and more widely available. More land is turned over to farming to feed a growing population. Rationing is still in effect, but less stringent due to the success of the "Great Farming Rebirth". Congress passes a plan to help reestablish national morale by establishing a commission to restore the communication spectrum and the sports leagues. The first step is to restart the American Telephone and Telegraph company, with a mandate to restore phone service in the bounds of the country, and build telegraph lines to Austin and Ottawa. Plans are drawn up to lay a trans-Atlantic cable to London. The Army Air Forces now have 4 fighters in preparation for the war with the Ohio Nazis. Reports indicate their strength might actually be a facade to hide internal fighting. But something else disturbs the American people. Refugees from Alabama and Mississippi bring news of Klansmen ruling large portions of the South. The Voice of America is ordered to begin a new station targeting this area with truthful news and an encouragement to spread the gospel of America.

A Turk, met with a duo of Carthaginians on Crete, carrying with him a bundle of paper. The Carthaginians did the same. They entered into a building on the island, formerly the town hall of the city of Heraklion. Tattered Greek flags could still be seen in some areas if you looked hard enough.

They sat down with their translators, and laid their offers out on the table.

"It is a simple deal, Mr. Imtop and Mr. Finri. Maps for maps. We will give you our knowledge of Anatolia and from our limited expeditions into the Balkans... and you will give us your knowledge of Africa and the Mediterranean."

Imtop and Finri shifted uncomfortably in their seats as what the Turk was negotiating.

"Is there not more you can negotiate for?" Imtop spoke up, the young woman much braver than the man she sat next to.

"I beg your pardon?"

"Mr... what was it? Ace... Servo?"

"Ece Cevik."

"Right. Listen, we are both trading nations. We would like to... set up an area of free trade in the Aegean. Heraklion would be set up as a trading hub, for both of our nations to enter freely. The Aegean would be patrolled by both of our navies."

"... I wasn't notified of this. But it seems fair. Give us a minute."

The Turk and his translator went out, and contacted the Minister of Trade. After a good five minutes, they returned into the building.

"The Ottoman Empire welcomes you and your merchants."

This was the beginning of a historic relationship between the two nations, both economically and somewhat politically. Now that the Ottomans knew of what lied in Africa and southern Italy, and the Carthaginians knew of Arabia and Anatolia, the two were either good friends... or would be ruthless rivals.

FOREIGN INTERPRETATION

With outside observation of China being relatively low due to the current world events, political analysts from what has been surmised have seen China as a potential threat to the current world order. Top think-tanks across Europe and America especially have vocalized opposition to the PRC, stating that "the economic statist 'experiment' is an abomination that undermines actual personal freedom and violates religious ideals and followings". This will no doubt hurt China in the long run with its economic globalization campaigns, since less countries will be willing to trade with such a volatile, newfound and strange ideology form... however, what is to note is China's increasingly rapid industrialization and on the bright side, an increase in democratization. Mao has even stated publicly that he intends to eventually fully embrace democratic institutions; either when the crisis ends or when China is developed enough to support it, as stated by him and the Chinese CCP.

Today the former state of Louisiana joined the Ozark Union. Whispers of the new Confederacy has helped to expedite this decision. As such, the Ozark Union now has access to the sea through Louisiana and the Mississippi river.

Organizing the Realm

Patrols around the Baltic had begun, and much to Germany’s pleasure it seems as if no vessels other than their own seem to operating in the area. This fact eased the mind of many living along the coast, debate began to be held as if they should attempt to patrol the English Channel although… while such an operation is important as to know if Britain is still a formidable foe. It was considered suicide by many to do so, the channel was simply to heavily guarded by the Royal Navy to allow for serious endeavors by Germany of patrolling it.

Thus the idea was brushed aside, at least for now they had little choice… Other matters laid in the sight of Germany, one of these being that of improving the Autobahn system and repairing the damage done during the war. This process went along smoothly, and the German people could continue driving around the lands in which they lived in and furthermore could connect the vast lands the Reich held.

Things were certainly improving among Germany, yet there was one fatal issue that needed to be solved at once… Fuel. They were running terribly low, and without it they couldn’t fuel its mighty war machine or even allow for its people to drive through fuel guzzling cars. The Reich had built up a reserve through scavenged cars, tanks, and oil storage across Europe but it simply wasn’t enough to keep them going for long periods of time.

The Reich required fuel, and they needed a reliable source to harness this from, debate as to where this source could be was heavy among the High Command. Some demanding that they attempt to takeover lands with high reserves of oil, while others stated they should attempt to reach out to any Axis friendly states that could possibly solve this issue for them. Both ideas had heavy criticism from both sides of the argument, yet the matter couldn’t be brushed aside, it was far to important for Germany’s future that this be solved.
