President Rivers reached Washington friday, amongst hundreds of cheering citizens, and met with president Truman of the Provisional United States. after several hours of deliberations, trade deals were announced, and work has started on a Texan Embassy in Washington, with the same being done in Austin. Texas shall start exporting oil and petroleum products via sea to its northern neighbor. While items like steel and timber will be sent towards texas. At the railyard in Washington, the first tie was set by both Truman and Rivers, in what has become a symbol of texan-american friendship. A joint expedition is also being planned into New England and Southern Quebec.

The houston shipyards, which have for the most part stayed abandoned, roared back to life today as the navy requested 2 modified Cleveland Class cruisers. the ships, whose names shall be TNS Glaveston, and TNS Amarillo, will be completed sometime next year, and they shall join in the Texan expedition to Southern England.

the City of Matmoros, located in Mexico, has voted to unite with Brownsville. yesterday, the Lone Star was held aloft, alongside the the Mexican flag, to symbolize the union between the two cities. members of the 5th infantry marched southwards, and claimed more land for the Texan Confederation. Plans are now being drawn up to colonize the Eastern Antillies, in order to properly secure the Gulf of Mexico. But they will not be enacted for a while.

Elections are held for the Provisional House of Representatives and 4 Provisional Senators. The last two years of divided government seem to have worked well for the rebuilding effort, resulting in a Republican hold of the House and the Republicans taking control of the Senate. The trade deal with Texas has provided the economy with a much needed boost, enabling the return of large scale manufacturing, though use for private transport is still restricted. An expedition is sent out toward Ottawa, Canada to see if anything remains of America's northern neighbor. The oil is now being used to send a ship to London to determine the status of the British government, America's closest ally before the disease. Virginia's government becomes more and more determined to build Virginia Beach-Norfolk-Newport News into a suitable rival for Washington as the nation's central commercial hub. Virginia is now attempting to deregulate banks and railroads, measures that the congressionally controlled District of Columbia cannot easily match, due to Virginia's delegation in Congress filibustering any attempt to make Washington competitive. A few D.C. residents start a statehood petition, asking Congress for a constitutional amendment to that effect. The competition has already pushed the economy higher, with more to come. A slow rebirth of the airplane is underway, with Washington-Philadelphia flights already scheduled to begin in 1956 by Delta Airlines. Raider gangs were found in State College, but were weak, and destroyed by the Provisional Army. The joint PUSA-Texan expedition to New England is begun, but with 3,000 soldiers taken along for fear of the criminal enterprise that now ran Massachusetts.

Today, among the office of the High Command arrived reports of the success Wehrwolf Operatives and the Brandenburg National Socialist Party has had. Detailing that thanks to Radio Wehrwolf, and the funding that they put into the party they have been able to greatly boost their numbers and now even have a few officials in Brandenburg’s military and government supporting the party. This of course meant great news for the Reich, as if such a trend were to continue then the people would rise up to install National Socialism among the country! Thus allowing Brandenburg to have an easier time integrating it into the Reich, a goal that they’d wish to fulfill.

Wehrwolf Germany continued to support to party strongly, as they continued to expand towards the state wanting to have a border with them for when the time of unity between them came. The addition of Brandenburg would be most profitable for the Reich, as it could allow for them to increase their military power further. Also gaining them access to the Baltic Sea, and perhaps a few U-Boats if Brandenburg has any within their navy. When they achieved the goal of sea access questions to do with this would begin to come up, as it was likely that while at seas they’d run into ally forces…. Especially the British, who were considered to be one of the biggest threats to the Reich aside from the Soviet bastards.

Nonetheless, they could either continue to lay low and only utilize the Baltic Sea or…. They could send U-Boats into the English Channel in an attempt to try and sink some allied ships…. Or better yet, send them into the Atlantic once more. Although, an aggressive approach was considered to be very risky, as even if Brandenburg managed to salvage many of Germany’s U-Boats it couldn’t possibly match the combined allied navy.

Trade with Texas has stimulated the economy massively, enabling the government to cut taxes, in a hope that tax cuts will further stimulate the economy and aid in rebuilding the country. An expedition sent out to Canada has reported back, reporting a small Canadian remnant around Ottawa. Contact and trade are established with the remnant, in the hope America can further expand its economy through trade. Meanwhile, the mood begins to change. Rumors start spreading that a massive group of American Nazis have seized power in Columbus, Ohio. Rumors say that they are massacring Japanese wherever they are found. President Truman responds by ordering a reinstitution of the Selective Service Administration and an order for the creation of the Provisional United States Army Air Forces. Work on reviving the Marines begins. Truman considers these measures necessary to defend the nation from the various armed groups that have established their own fiefdoms.

Bordering Brandenburg

Claims: More of Germany

Finally, the Wehrmacht has arrived at lands that border the kingdom of Brandenburg thus allowing the Reich to connect itself with the state even further. While tensions escalated slightly when many of the Reich’s soldiers were standing on the border of the kingdom, things began to die down as more official diplomacy was established between the two. This being done by sending a few officials to establish a clear border between the two, as well as setting up free trade with them both. These endeavors have allowed the Reich to pull Brandenburg ever closer under their influence, yet there was some complications to be had between the two.

Firstly, the king of Brandenburg, Ferdinand. Stood staunchly against National Socialism along with many of the loyalist he ensures to keep close to him and in high positions of power, this was problematic to say the least. It made absorbing them into the Reich much more difficult, although there was a solution in the works. The plan being to lead an armed uprising of National Socialists to takeover and overthrow the monarchy, installing a loyalist to the Fourth Reich. Once the chaos died down, they’d then be able to easily unite the two German states as one single great power.

Although, this was merely the first issue the Fourth Reich had to go through in order to succeed. The second was that when they did absorb Brandenburg they’d have to work tirelessly to incorporate it with the rest of the country. Linking up infrastructure and industry along with tying the economies and military forces together, a long and tedious process which would have to require pausing any further expansion for the time being.

The Provisional United States continues to expand, admitting West Virginia to the Union, with state elections to be held in 1956. Trade with Canada has opened up new opportunities for the American people, with exports of medicine being a large part of that revenue. With Texan oil flowing into the country, the Ford Motor Company and General Motors are revived in order to get Americans moving again. The Provisional Army now has 25,000 men to its name. Raider groups were encountered in Wheeling, but were quickly destroyed by the increasingly powerful army. Law and order now reign in the rebuilt nation. The United States Embassy in Austin is finished, with the leader of the expedition that discovered Texas being appointed the first ambassador. A campaign to reorganize the Army Air Forces is going well, with airport infrastructure being rebuilt. The rail line to New York is complete, further enriching the nation and easing the flow of refugees into America. 1,500 a week are coming in, drawn by the Voice of America from as far afield as Minnesota. The Ohio Nazis appear to only have knowledge of a undefined nation to the east, enabling America to send in spies to infiltrate the group's leadership. The US decides to authorize one navy ship to go towards Great Britain, further expanding America's reach. It was loaded with as much food and medicine as it could hold to provide aid to any survivors.

Delegates from the different provinces of Missouri met at a round table discussion and drafted the new constitution of the new Ozark Union. Just outside the Parthenon, he and 12 other representatives from the, albeit small, various regions of Greece came together to draft and sign a new constitution. People throughout Athens celebrate as law and order is restored to their great city. Meanwhile, provinces outside of Athens are being secured as newly-trained military forces attempt to restore order to the areas surrounding Greece.

Hundreds of soldiers of the new republic marched towards the Mississippi, scouting the once thriving Minnesotan metropoles of the pre-war era. There were little survivors, and the once thriving farmlands were either wiped of their human populations, or have scarce bands of people trying to tough it out. Arkansas Reunification

Local leaders met with Ozark Union delegates at the town of Hot Springs Arkansas in the Fordyce Hot Springs bathhouse to discuss reunification. After intense negotiations, it was decided that the rest of Arkansas would join up with the Ozark Union. A new capital of the new nation would be established at Fort Leonard Wood Missouri. This was settled on due to Fort Leonard Wood being in close proximity to Route 63 which runs north-south through the Ozark Union and also due to how close it was to Route 66 which runs east-west across the Ozark Union from Joplin to St. Louis.

Texan Federation Expedition

A trade and diplomatic mission was sent down former US Route 67 to Texarkana on the border between the Ozark Union and the Texan Federation. As the convoy of old Studebaker trucks rolled to a stop at the outskirts of Texarkana, the delegates waited to see if the Texans would meet them and allow them to proceed to meet with the Texan government.

- After negotiations with local leaders from Southern Arkansas, the delegates of the Ozark Union have secured their joining of the new nation. (Remainder of Arkansas has been annexed by the Ozark Union)

Thousands march through the streets of Berlin, carrying flags of the Swastika and armed with bats and rusty metal pipes as they make their way to Ferdinand’s estate. Chanting propaganda spewed by Radio Wehrwolf as operatives from Wehrwolf Germany walk among them, armed with more military grade weaponry while dressed as civilians. The police force block the crowd’s way to the estate, the chief of them threatening violence as he demanded for them all to turn back, but when he ordered for the command to fire. His men refused to do so, instead the officers joined in the Fascist rally as they would cuff the chief along with any others who opposed the takeover while holding them at gunpoint.

They desired to head all the way to the estate, and force Ferdinand into abdication, Ferdinand stood staunchly against National Socialism and attempted to suppress the ideas that were rising in the country. Yet his attempts had all failed, and only seem to have backfired as the ideas of the Nazi Party only seem to shout louder and louder among the echoe chamber.

But Ferdinand wasn’t there, he along with his royal guard, family, friends, and many other loyalists all fled to the coasts and boarded ships to set off to unknown lands in exile. Being forced to abandon their country out of fear of execution, only a single member of the royal family stayed, this being Oskar who had sympathized with the Nazi cause.

Eventually, Wehrwolf Germany chose to intervene in the situation as riots and calls for National Socialism to be implemented echoed throughout the lands. The Wehrmacht marched into Brandenburg, and installed Franz Stangl as the Fuhrer of Nazi Brandenburg. Relations between the two like minded states would drastically improve with time, as the Wehrmacht even extended the border the two had with one another by reclaiming more German lands. Great celebrations occurred throughout the Wehrwolf government as their plans were now going smoothly, with the implementation of a Nazi government they’d be able to enforce their authority and influence upon the state more and more until they’d commence the Brandenburg Anschluss to unite the two together. For Germany would always be one instead of two.

The nation’s number one city was restored to American control. Truman’s approval rating soars to 92%. The national mood is one of rejoicing. The reestablished Dow Jones opens at an all time high, and the Washington exchange continues to soar. The economic state of the country is such that JP Morgan, Chrysler, and Boeing are among the companies restarted to serve an increasing customer base. The mood turns toward war when a team sent to survey a route for a Columbus-New York railroad returns in body bags, with the American Nazi Party telling the American people to submit or die. In response, a 2,000 strong force is declared the Provisional United States Marine Corps. The new Boeing is given as much metal as it can to start work on the Provisional United States Army Air Forces. Meanwhile, the navy continues to monitor the situation in New England. The raiders only control Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. Vermonters and New Hampshireites are responding with guns, but they will eventually run out of bullets. The relationship between Texas and America continues to grow, with the Ambassador authorized to discuss an alliance. Radio signals in West Virginia are heard from Wisconsin and an “Ozark Union”. A team is sent to investigate each.

Today, the joint Texan, American force sets sail for Britain. As over 10 thousand people cheer them on as they leave Norfolk. They will be potentially setting up communication with what remains of the British government, and are set to return January of 1956. May god Bless their journey.

Texan forces marched south from Phoenix this month, and reached the Pacific earlier this week. The goal is to reach the city of Guaymas. In order to establish a proper standing within the Pacific. And a port from which expeditions can be launched to Asia
After a diplomat from what he claimed to be Missouri arrived in Texarkana, member of the Texan border guard escorted his convoy to Austin. Where he met with President Rivers, they talked of diplomacy, and future trade prospects. And was promptly escorted back across the border, and to Missouri. Following, the construction of the rail line between Austin and Washington was split in Little Rock, so a line could be establish to St. Louis.

Reports have surface of a massive ship running aground in Panama reached Austin A few weeks ago. When the canal garrison arrived at the zone, they found the rusted hulk of a battleship, ground ashore. Upon closer inspection, it had a hull number of 63, this ship was the American USS Missouri. The ship has been left due to an inability to move it at that point in time, but several tugboats are in route to the Canal Zone, with several pumps. The ship shall keep her original name, but the prefix shall be changed to the standard TNS. It is unlikely the ship will see service in the foreseeable future. But the ship will be a major morale booster to the Texan armed forces

Recently, news of a new German State has risen within the Lower-Saxony region, according to Wehrwolf Operatives who work in the area its reported that despite being ruled under a Fascist government. The nation rejects the ideas of National Socialism and has turned their backs upon the Reich! Immediately when hearing of this, the High Command And Wehrmacht prepared for the coming war in which they’d crush this rebellion under the New World Order, and take back the lands that belonged to the Reich.

The Wehrmacht marched with all of their might towards the nation and began making plans to attack and crush the nation before they grew to powerful, setting up V-2 launch sites and getting the Luftwaffe into the air as to achieve aerial superiority. Telegrams were being set out to the newly Fascist Brandenburg to call them into the war in order to crush this rebellious tumor which rejected the ideas of National Socialism, furthermore a telegram would be sent to the new nation ordering for it to surrender its autonomy to the Reich and become one with the nation. Or face total annihilation by the full strength of the Wehrmacht and have any who dare show loyalty to the state be executed. If they chose to surrender they’d show the nation and its people no harm as they worked to consume them into the Reich, and incorporate them to the idea of a united Germania.
