With lots of frosted glasses on the bar left clean.
The roasted goat has been consumed down to the bone.
And the logs in the fireplace crackled on their own.
The door swayed lazily along with the breeze.
The oak that made it could crumble due to a sneeze.
However, the stools still welcome more guests.
Awaiting the next story or jest.
So, adventurers, warriors or merchants.
Seek this pub if the need for mead is urgent.
And perhaps join us for another round or two.
Our ale matches well with our stew.
The Slithering Fox Pub is a fantasy-themed roleplay that is looking for roleplayers keen on basking on a more casual setting, those who enjoy heavy character-to-character interaction and/or those who are looking to hone their character development.
The entire setting is a pub named the Slithering Fox, which can be portrayed as an average fantasy-esque pub seen in popular literature and filmography. There’s a fireplace with crackling logs, barrels of mead to go around, roasted beef and venison ripe for the taking as well as plenty of bar stools and the mahogany bar which has seen many carvings made by vandalising rogues. Within the confines of the pub resides Arvor the middle-aged pub owner and his in-house entertainer, Jujubes the Lute-player. Your characters are individuals who for some reason has sought the shelter of this lonesome pub but there are plenty of entertainment to be had even if the walls show signs of age and the whole place smells like grilled chicken.
Everything about your character is completely up to you. There are no limitations to the parameters of your character so yes … essentially you can be a lizardman who has high dexterity but low affinity for catching items thrown at slow speeds. The only thing the thread asks of you is respect for all of the roleplayers involved.
