Towers I see what you did there with that birthdate. Cheeky, as always. Alright, since we've changed the thread to semi-closed I want to ask now. Is there anyone with apps that still need to be fully accepted, there have been a lot of posts and I don't want to end up missing anyone. I see Towers, Vacif, Deutschess, Forest, and Parcia. Before I start going through all of them, if there is anyone that we've missed please speak up so that I can look things over.

I'm still writing my app as well. If its too late I might just wait and see if someone drops out

I think it's because you're using a powered armor rather than a mech, which is what everyone else is using. I think OP stated somewhere in the first page that he prefers VOTOMs over powered armor for this RP.

Yeah, I think it was at that time I asked him if I could do a powered armor version of Infinite Stratos units.

Pretty much on the money there. Power Armor like MJOLNIR, STRATOS, and Javelins don't sit within the original aesthetic of the VALK and MACEs. More appropriate are the AVATAR Mechs, the Aliens Powerloaders, and the MANTIS walker from Halo from what I had gathered.

The others pretty much covered the specs we're looking for.

First and foremost this RP was created as a Mecha roleplay, the zombies were another factor that was added on to make things unique. That being said it kind of throws the core concept of the RP out the window if the mech is taken away in favor of power armor.

The canonical reason is that the zombies this time around are going to be faster and smarter than the typical shuffling dead. The infection allowed them to retain base predatorial pack thinking which allows them to use hunting tactics akin to a wolf pack. Thus the mechs became commonplace because their larger size made them harder to gang up on.

Kinda kills my idea. I was going for a smaller model for reasons, mostly because i had this cool idea of it being a moddifed diving suit of sorts.


I went for T60 armor becuase its big and bulky while still allowing me to walk through the door.

Quick question about or zombies. Are they more akin to the L4D infected kind of zombie where chest blows/dismemberment will kill them, or are they more traditional "head shots only" smart zombies? I remember you said they retain some kind of pack instinct or something.

Think L4D/Rage Virus zombies only they're smart and can think and are more like a predatory creature than a mindless drone that thinks only of killing/eating the first thing it sees.

If you have time, I basically borrowed them from the book series "The Remaining".

Not entirely. You could always change the mentioning of Proteus to the Soldiers of the Cross instead. It's not too far-fetched to think they've spread over to Russia from the Baltic. They're also generally operating in the same religious fanatic way as Proteus did back in the original GAMA.
